I’m shocked by the number of good reviews and I’m shocked this place is allowed to be in business. I went looking for a zebra finches, thinking this is going to be so wonderful with all those great reviews. No, it most definitely is not. The birds are kept in horrible conditions unclean way too many together in one place sick birds obviously stressed out and plucking in each other’s feathers. Many of the reptiles did not appear in good condition either. I was also given incorrect information regarding the care of the birds when I asked a question that anyone with general knowledge of zebra, society and Gouldian finches should know. Very sad and actually left me depressed and crying the remainder of my afternoon The only blessing with this store will be when it is shut down, and the animals are placed where they can receive better care! *I went first in late May and then decided to go again in July this week just to make sure I remembered correctly/ got things right before writing this review.

Surprised to see the few negative comments here - I purchased a new baby here yesterday and the store is very clean and well kept. The baby I purchased is a Sun Conure, but I took the time to walk around the entire store and I didn't see animals of any species in distress. All of the animals were healthy and content - there were even bunnies all stretched out in their enclosure enjoying themselves. Prior to knowing about this store, I was driving out of town for bird services, such as feather and nail trimming. I am so happy I don't have to do that anymore - this store provides bird feather and nail trims, as well as beak filing. There are many different types of birds to choose from - IRN's, conures, budgies, finches, and more. Currently, there is a gray IRN, which is a rare color mutation, so I suggest if you are looking for a bird, you will definitely want to check this place out. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I got a bird from them a couple months Back which I love and I also bought a cage with it, I checked out and he disassembled it for me and helped me get it to my car which was nice but I when I got home I realized I didn’t get a receipt and I was trying to return the cage bc me an my family couldn’t get it together because it came with no instructions and I didn’t wanna leave the bird in a box all night so I had to go to pet supermarket last minute and get another cage and I tried returning the old cage but said I couldn’t bc i didn’t have a receipt which is understandable but they didn’t give me one so I dont get how that’s supposed to work, my boyfriend also bought some crickets from them and he also didn’t get a receipt so the whole situation was very frustrating, I just wanted to return the cage I don’t even care about the money atp I just want it off my hands since I have another one

We had a great experience at Mia’s Blessing Petshop and found our new baby there! Sol was so helpful and kind. We also met her uncle Billy, who owns the business. He is extremely knowledgeable about different parrot species. We purchased a nice cage for our little Indian Ringneck parrot and was given a supply of food also. We drove from Thomasville GA to look around at the pet shops that carried parrots, Mia’s was our first stop and we didn’t have to look any further. We will definitely be back. My husband and I both highly recommend this business. They also carry other exotic pets and have fish too.

The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable! They are helpful and always give recommendations on the proper way to take care of all their exotic animals. Their prices are great compared to pet supermarket and PetSmart. My fiance bought me a sulcata tortoise here and he is doing so well! He's a very active healthy little fella, and the other tortoises in the store were all clean and healthy. I came back today to buy a 20 gallon fish tank and the store owner inspected the kit to make sure everything was in perfect condition. This will be my go-to store for all my pet needs.

This photo really explains its self. All the chameleons were cohabited, dehydrated, and malnourished. There was no humidity and the only water they had for them was in a dish and experienced reptile keepers know still water for chameleons is a no no. All of them were dark brown which means they are extremely stressed The Guinea pigs and rabbits had no hay And I don’t know what kind of shaving they use but pine is very dangerous to hamsters I feel like all the animals in there were fighting eachother and stressed.

These guys are the best! I went in to get my husband a parrot for Christmas today and they helped us so much! They were very informative when we had questions and they hand feed the baby birds! We ended up getting two quakers from them. As soon as we walked in we loved this place! You can tell right off that they take amazing care of their animals. If you're wanting to see some amazing birds or need pet supplies or maybe trying to add a new member of the family I highly recommend this place! 5+ stars for sure.

Met the owner while shopping for a new baby for my kids. He let us hold the bearded dragons and told us all about them as pets. He was more focused on pets than supplies and you could tell he was very passionate about all of his animals. We found our go to place for any new pets! We can’t decided between a new bird, Gunnea pig, or bearded dragon but he has all options for any new pets you are considering.

They have a lot of selections of exotic pets. The place is nice and clean. And the owners were amazing. They do take care of your pets even after purchase. I have read all the negative comments about this place that I didn't want to come. Good thing I listen to my instinct and it proved me otherwise Pets are well kept. Owners are extremely nice and passionate about their pets. I Highly recommended This place.

My sister and I were trying to find a place that sold baby turtles. Someone told us about this place. Dania( I may spelling her name wrong) but she was the biggest help and customer service was 10/10. Any questions we had she answered. She went above and beyond as to offering to decorate the turtles home that we bought for the two turtles. AMAZING PLACE

I recently stopped in just to check the place out because come on who doesn’t love pet shops! I just fell in love with all the happy animals I was so in love that I ended up buying a Guinea pig. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out everything I needed to move my happy rodent from one happy home to another happy home.

My daughters birthday gift! In and out for this little guy, a good shopping experience. I was shown the more friendly, handled birds since my daughter is only 7. All animals were in good condition, cages were not over crowded. This cockatiel was only with one other bird of the same species. Thank you again for our new family member!

I loved the environment from the door!!! Everyone was so nice!! I left with two beautiful bunnies. Worst experience ever ..gave me a red bearded dragon and started bleeding blood the same week and told us over the phone we can have refund came to store and they wanted to take the dead animal over price us for a new one and not give back refund. Worst experience ever do not come here they are very rude and unprofessional

Such an awesome pet shop! Have previously purchased feeder rats here, and purchased a Guinea pig today for my son. This is the cleanest pet store I have ever visited, and the staff is so helpful! Definitely worth a visit! They have many different kinds of animals, from tortoises to chinchillas and everything in between!

First time visiting, on June15, and I'm completely satisfied, Denia was the one that help me, she was very friendly, I was looking for a male parakeet, and finally I founded there, I also bought the cage and the nest, thanks for helping me, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, best place in prices.

Me and my mom had went to a rept-con in Jacksonville and had a bad experience, while there ran into some very nice people who introduced us to go here and we had an amazing experience and customer service, left with like 4 animals. I think this is probably the best pet store in Jacksonville. All the animals are healthy and well cared for. The staff are super friendly too. I bought a few birds from here and they are the most beautiful, vibrant, and healthy birds I've seen in any pet store around. I highly recommend you visit.

The Staff was Amazing!!!!! in helping and informing of the animals there , they helped me pick out the perfect pet for me to take home. Great service love that they speak Spanish , front staff is So welcoming I really felt welcomed in their store. I am definitely coming back for Pet number 2!!!

Mia’s Blessing is truly a blessing! The Owners and staff were very helpful and informational! Also the store is as clean smelled nice and had so many exotic reptiles I have never seen before! Felt like walking through a tropical forest! I will go there for all my reptile or fish needs!

Great selection of birds, couldn't find canaries anywhere, but they have various healthy birds at Mia's Blessings. Clean, well cared for birds, fish, rabbits and more.....even turtles. Glad we found this place tucked away off of Blanding. Friendly staff, will be back!

The snakes have no rocks to hide under and so there no way they'll ever feel safe or comfortable. Also noticed with the water monitors. They keep their pets in cruel conditions. DO BETTER! Poor animals ;(
