I'm very satisfied with my experiences at Puppies Galore. I recently had a 13yr old dog pass away and I dealt with the grief partially by visiting the Puppies Galore store in Orange Park, dropping by several times a week and checking out the various puppy breeds that they had in their store. After MANY visits I found the companion dog I was looking for. The staff allowed me to examine many of their puppy breeds and shared what they knew about each particular breed puppy that I was looking at. The staff could have easily swayed me towards any particular breed, but, they truly educated me about the various pups and allowed me to take my time and to get my true companion. My dog is a Minigoldenwoodle and he is the best! He truly matches my needs and wants being a smart, low to no shedding, small ( portable), and a very friendly and sociable personality. You hear all kinds of horror stories about buying pet store puppies, but, I am very happy with the puppy and his health is excellent, following a thorough exam at my long term vet that I've taken all my animals for many years. He was checked and given a excellent grade by my vet. Making a decision on where to get your new puppy is a big decision and one I made after investigating some breeders with my wife first hand. I didn't jump at the first opportunity to get this breed, having doing some homework over a couple months, but in my own conclusion I felt completely comfortable selecting our new puppy from Puppies Galore and am glad that we did. I recommend them. I've had some experience with dogs, having bred AKC Doberman breeds, and have also owned countless breeds like German shepherds, cocker spaniel, Rottweilers, Labradors, and so many more.

My partner and I have been speaking for a while about getting dog once we acquired the right living space in the near future, we decided to start looking around to get a feel for what breed, size, and temperament would fit our lifestyle as it is very important to take into consideration. While looking around we had only one lady circle around to watch us and ask questions, we both fell in love with a golden cocker spaniel and the lady was nice about letting us go into the pen with her. After talking and getting firsthand exposure we decided that this breed was our best fit while researching more on my phone. Before departing we saw another cocker (brown speckled male in a separate pen). The lady either was not that informed or was beating around the bush when i asked her questions relating to the puppy (ex. American or English Cocker, her reply was a mix) which raised my suspicion. My mother had gotten a German Shepherd puppy from them over a year ago and she had a worrying feeling of business potentially selling puppy mill dogs, her Shepherd right now deals with insecure aggresion and can not be neutered due to one of his testicles not dropping. We were right by the desk, while my partner was looking at the puppy, I heard one of the ladies speaking to another lady at the desk making rude remarks of how we were only here to play with the puppies and not make any purchases. To not ruin the experience for my partner, I did not confront the woman but I was very livid on how bold she was to speak of us in such an inappropriate way and so close in our earshot. This business worries more about profit instead of the bonding between potential owners and the puppies.

My daughter and I have been going here off and on for the past 6 years. Today, we were reprimanded by, who I think was the owner (an older female ) for" letting the puppy bite our hands" and for "shaking the cage". Yes, the puppy was biting our hands and certainly didnt mean to and no, we certainly weren't shaking the cage. The owner tells me she's been watching my daughter and I do this since we arrived. If that's the case, why tell me after almost 25 minutes of us interacting with the puppy? I was hesitant to ask, but on behalf of my daughter, I asked if we can bring the puppy into one of the play rooms. She immediately said 'no' because it's an "orange tag puppy" ( which means it's an expensive dog, but made it a point to tell me because the puppy costs thousands of dollars) and again, mentioning how we were letting the puppy bite us, etc..I told her that I know how it is since I was a pet owner myself. She tells me she doesn't care what I do in my household, but repeated herself again about the " biting" issue, then she walked away from me. I don't mind being told by employees the rules and whatnot, but the lady was rude and accusatory. If that's the case, she needs to tell each individual who comes in to not let the puppies bite their hands and to enforce petting instead. By the way, we were allowed to bring the same puppy in the playroom two days prior and the same lady was there. Maybe we were just lucky that day. More of a better reason to deal directly with breeders or the animal shelters. This lady has never been that personable whenever I've seen her and I've never minded. However, today was the day. Please focus on your customer service skills.

I stopped by Puppies Galore on 7/6/17 and couldn't take my eyes off a tiny, white, perfect Chihuahua. A woman named Susan (Sue) saw me looking into a pin (that you had to ask for assistance to hold this tiny baby) and asked me if I wanted to hold it. I said yes and fell in love. She allowed me to hold the dog for over an hour and gave me tons of information on the puppy and was very upfront about how to care for a dog this small. I called my husband afterwards and sent him pictures and told him we have to have this dog. After we decided to get him it was 7:03 and they had closed but I called to see if they would hold him. They stayed open late for us and allowed me to pickup my little baby. As Sue was getting the dog ready she heard him sneeze and she very honest and told me to please take him to the vet first thing and to please let them know what the vet said. I could tell they really cared about the animals and after my vet visit I stopped by to let them know he was fine and just needed some antibiotics. A few days later Sue called me to see how our family was doing with our needy baby and to check up on the puppy's to see if he was responding well to the antibiotics. I love that she cares that the animals go to the right family and it meant a lot to me that she checked up on him after the sale. Great customer service and SUPER helpful! If it wasn't for Sue seeing me looking at that puppy and asking if I want to hold him, I wouldn't have my Toy Chihuahua today.

Return customer very disappointed in the lack of customer service & disclosure of a discount at point of sale. I purchased a new puppy on Friday, 4th of July weekend. Imagine my surprise after getting home that same evening and seeing that they were having a 4th of July sale & ALL puppies were $100 off. I was following Puppies Galore on several social media platforms waiting on a certain breed so I checked my receipt & thought it was clearly an oversight. I called right away and learned they were closed & followed up the next morning. I expected a quick apology for not making me aware of the sale or applying the discount to my purchase & to be told my CC would be credited or at the very least that I would receive a store credit for puppy supplies or future purchase. To my surprise the owner did neither! If I returned the puppy within 24hrs of purchase, I would incur a $300 return fee & quite frankly I did not want to do that anyway however I’m so disappointed that this business treats a return customer this way. I cannot only not refer them to anyone I know looking for a puppy in good conscious, I will not give them my business in the future either. I really thought my call would be handled very differently & had even tried to complete my review while I was in the store when prompted by the cashier. So glad I didn’t given the disappointing transaction immediately after leaving this establishment. Buyer Beware! I wish I had read the other reviews.

My husband and I had been talking about getting a puppy after my dog passed away in January. We were in no hurry to get one, however, after meeting Luna at this store, I fell in love. You just know it when you make a connection. She is perfect, healthy, and so sweet. My son is her favorite person in the world. Everyone at the store bent over backwards to make this work for us, and I really appreciate it. We had to get a hypoallergenic dog due to my husband's allergies, and I wanted a larger dog. Thank you for the kindness and information! I was also previously a vet tech and animal educator. These guys are awesome. Editing my rating. Reason: I repeatedly asked for the breeder's information, even just their e-mail, so I could open up a line of communication with them. I also just wanted to ask some questions about the sire and dam, such as their size and whatnot. But, they kept going in circles about giving me the information, which seems super shady. After spending that much on a puppy, you'd think it would be no problem, but I have yet been able to get the information after reaching out to them several times. I will no longer give them my business, and take Luna to Luba's groomer instead.

Purchased a male German shepherd puppy in the summer of 2020. We has spent several weeks researching and trying to find the best puppy for our family of four. They assured us that they didn’t have any breeding issues with the blood lines. Our German shepherd is going to be thee years old in April after many vet visits and even getting second options he has obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorder, skin sensitivity among other issues. The vet has stated that this is from his genetics. He has to take several medications to try and allow him to somewhat be a normal dog. The vets have stated that these issues will become worse as he gets older. He has started to pull his fur out. He will eventually need to take tranquilizers and ultimately be put down before his time. After spending $2500 to get him not to mention the thousands spent on vets, the saddest part is he is a part of our family and I wonder if this could have been avoided. I don’t know if puppies galore is aware or if they just don’t care but I do hope that this doesn’t continue to happen to other families. I’m not someone that normally writes reviews but hopefully this will be a warning at least for others.

We came here from Gainesville with our 9 month old daughter who has never seen or played with a puppy before in hopes of finding a puppy she would connect with. At first this seemed like a welcoming establishment. We walked around for a little looking at the different puppies they had and then decided to ask one of the employees if we could possibly play with a puppy that caught our eye. Upon doing so the employee immediately stated “yeah if you’re interested” which I felt was border line passive aggressive. She then proceeded to look at her pricing sheet and then advised me of the dogs price. She then followed that up with “are you still interested?”. That’s when I said no. Not because of the price but because of the way she went about my request. Her comments made us feel as if she believed we were wasting her time and couldn’t afford the price tag on the dog when that was not the case. How am I going to be 100% interested in the dog if I couldn’t even get a friendly chance to interact with the dog outside of the small cage they’re put in. We ended up leaving because we felt disrespected in a way and won’t be coming back.

I went into this store yesterday to see an Australian Cattle Dog they had listed on their website. My boyfriend and I got there as soon as they opened to make sure if we liked the puppy we could get him. When we got there he was not in any of the pools so we asked and a worker wearing a baseball cap told us "he's in back he'll be out in 30 minutes." Ok, no problem we ran to Harbor Freight to get a few things we needed and headed right back 30 minutes later. He was still not out so we waited around about 10 minutes and still nothing. A line was forming so we got in the line to ask again as it's been about 50 minutes since they've been open. Can you believe it, the woman jumped right over us. You don't want us purchasing a dog? I have owned almost 20 dog through buying and rescue and am an absolutely AMAZING dog mommy who would have loved this dog for life. I have never been treated so poorly before by any rescue or store when trying to purchase/adopt a baby. I have been to this store many times and will NEVER return after this treatment. They can keep their puppy mill dogs and I'll rescue a baby in need

After going to a million pet stores and calling multiple breeders, we finally found Puppies Galore and More! I am so happy that we did! We actually left Puppy Avenue to go to Puppies Galore and More because at Puppy Avenue the dogs looked so sick, they were way over priced considering how they looked, and the reviews were horrible. Once we got to Puppies Galore and More, we looked at several dogs. We played with a few and then there were two Morkies that we fell in love with. My daughter, age 4, fell in love with the female Morkie and I fell in love with the male. However, the female Morkie took to my daughter and I could not separate them after seeing their bond. We stayed for almost 2 hrs with this puppy before purchasing her, because I wanted to make sure she was the perfect fit. Let me tell you, she is amazing! Her and my daughter are inseparable! Today we dropped my daughter off at school and our Morkie, who is now Meeka, cried for her the whole way home! Out family is complete with Meeka! Thank you Puppies Galore and More!

I have bought 2 Victorian Bulldogs from here. The experience was above and beyond. I noticed that some people say that they are buying from puppy mills. I can for a fact say that mine were NOT they told me on both prior to purchasing who the breeder was and I searched them both. They were both rated high in everything that I found. Not only that but my first one was checked and found she would need to have surgery on her leg for a common issue with Bullies. I was reimbursed for every penny. This is the only store that I will buy from. The staff was great! They make sure that you sanitize before touching another as well as make sure children cannot due to the stress it can cause for a puppy. You can never please everyone. Someone will always have some type of complaint. That is not me. Thank you Puppies Galore and more for my additions to my family!

I normally do not take the time to write my comments because of my English but this time I habe to do it. My experience there was incredible. We past by just to see the puppies and we fall in love with a pomeranian. The let us play with her at a litter room the have for meet the puppy. The only thing they ask us was to use a mask to be in there ( very understandable ,of course) and clean our hands if we wanted touch the puppy. The process was very easy eben for me , the ladys were very polite with me. They gave us the 1st visit with the vet free!! They gave us food that my baby used to eat three wet and dry food. They gave us a papel explaining that if there were something wrong with the puppy we can return the puppy free of charge.... So everything was so pleased that we will want now a boy another and we definitely will buy there again

My girlfriend and I came in on Sunday, the 24th of April. I had been wanting a shiba inu for a long time, and she a Maltese. We came mostly just ti see what was available, but fell for the shiba. Then she saw a cockapoo and wanted to hold her. The staff were great and patient with us, taking their time and allowing us to spend actual time to bond with the furry kids. They actually closed at 5, but we were allowed to stay longer because we had an issue with my phone connecting to the financing website. We ended up leaving with both dogs! Amanda did our paperwork and was very knowledgeable and joked with us and helped us feel comfortable le with all the information we needed. Aleah was super helpful and kind and very enthusiastic! Both were great.

A week ago today, l became the mommy of a new fur baby after decades of once being a fur baby mom again. The experience from start to finish was pleasantly rewarding. There were several breeds, genders and sizes to choose from. l honestly was NOT expecting to take home a new puppy that same day. We were able to afford just the puppy l fell in love with. Yet, it was comforting to know financing was available. The staff was very friendly and able to answer my questions with such assurance. We received everything we needed to make her transition to a new home quite pleasant with the puppy pack purchase option provided. I went Saturday to get a puppy. We found an adorable Shiba Inu we got. They let you pet and meet with the puppies as long as they know you are a serious buyer. But that is for the safety of the puppies. They don’t want a 100 people touching all over the puppies. That’s how they get sick. So they are just being responsible. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The puppies are expensive, but your getting a pure bred puppy so that’s anywhere. We got a free checkup and the puppy was healthy. I looked up the breeder and it was all legit. All the puppies come from different breeders and are registered. I will definitely come back and hopefully get another one so my little girl has a friend.

I have purchased several puppies from this store and have been very happy with my puppies and the staff. They have been very helpful and answered a lot of questions for me and have always been willing to take the time to help me decide on my new family member. My pups have always been very well taken care of and healthy, they go to a lot of trouble to make sure they put the right pet with the right family. When i am ready to add another fur baby to my family this is where i will go to look and purchase.

My family and I were able to find our dream puppy here, a shorkie, which we loved as soon as we laid eyes on her. The ladies working saw that we were interested and did not hesitate to let us take the puppy out for more time together. No one rushed us and they allowed us to have as much time as we wanted with her prior to purchasing. They were extremely nice and knowledgeable throughout the buying process. We have adopted both of our fur babies from puppies galore (exactly one year apart) and could not be happier. Both dogs were in excellent health, well groomed, and obviously cared for. Our vet was reviewing our paperwork and mentioned that the particular vaccines our newest puppy received were of excellent quality. The lady who helped us was very kind and even threw in a collar for us because we have purchased with them before. We adore our furry friends and are grateful for such an easy process!

Absolutely Disappointing, I bought a very loving puppy that i thought was healthy. Within hours the puppy showed signs of sickness I rushed it to the Emergency vet , turns out it had Pneumonia . The company did however pay for the Vet visit and Emergency Vet visit and refunded me my money minus the $150 fee for the puppy package . Please be aware if your buying a puppy from this place $1600+ is a lot of money for an animal that may have less then excellent health.

Puppies are absolutely ADORABLE! They are incredibly overpriced but we like to stop and check them out when we're in the area. My only complaint was the lady working was pretty cold/discouraging when I asked to visit one in the play/test area. She wasn't really wanting to let me see one even saying I really wanted to purchase. She was like are you sure? Like really sure? Those poor babies need homes and they shouldn't make it so uncomfortable to give them one.

The puppies are super cute, I feel really bad for not buying one just so I can take him out of there. the old lady with the brown hair was really rude to me, although the owner was nice. When I asked about the papers for the dog and parents history they didn’t have a clear answer for me, which made me think the reviews about the sick puppies are real. I just think the puppies are not so cheap, so I would wanna make sure they are healthy before buying one.

Bought 2 dogs here over the years. Both have had medical issues. One passed away at only age 8 from medical problems. Their prices have skyrocketed over the years and many of the dogs aren't even registered because they're mixed. They have become very aggressive and downright rude/nasty when visiting now and they seem like they pretty much don't want anyone to touch a dog. We're now looking at breeders instead, which are 1/2 the price.

This isn’t BFF… I love and appreciate how the staff (Marsha and Amanda) took the time to explain the differences in all the little pups we were interested in. The puppies are kept in holding pins and you have a separate section for you to bound with your new pup. Our daughter got a CockaPoo and we are the proud parents of a Bichon Pop. Love this place. Awful experience. I went in with my daughter. We were interested in a doodle and there was a chipoodle. We had never heard of the temperament of this breed (we were looking for a goldendoodle). Asked to just pet the puppy and sternly asked if we were really interested in purchasing. I mean how can you be interested truly without even petting a puppy. Did not make us feel warm or welcome. Will not be buying a puppy there.

This place is soooo much fun. We're not 100% committed to having a forever pup just yet, so until we are this is a great place to get your "puppy fix" When we visit we've seen a lot of pups getting adopted! I'll update this review when we go through that experience, but for now we like to take the kids in to see the different ones & talk about what life would be like with a specific dog (large vs small etc)

Bought my pup here 7 weeks ago. It was a bit pricey, but I was looking for a specific breed so I was willing to pay their price. The place is clean and all the pups come with a health certificate. The only negative I can say is when I went back to get my pup's chip information put in my name the employees didn't even ask how my pup was doing? They could at least pretend to care after the sale.

Super clean place! Everyone that helped us was very nice and knowledgeable. They seem to genuinely care about the animals they have as well as where they come from. It can be hard to find a good pet store you can trust, but I can say we definitely felt comfortable with getting our sweet little girl there. If you can even walk in a place like this then you're subhuman. These poor creatures are not cared for from the moment they were born. These people are sick and I still don't understand how anyone could pay thousands for an animal when thousands need to be adopted. Shame on anyone who would consider these places. They all come from puppy mills. These innocent creatures deserve better.

My wife and I went in to "play with the puppies", and ended up bringing home one of our own. The staff was fantastic. They answered questions, and listened as we spoke of our past little ones. They were very much more interested in finding the pups a good home than simply making a sale. I highly recommend them, and can't thank them enough for the addition to our family.

Love my new puppy. Enjoyed the experience, but I wish I knew a little more about the easy pay before I committed to it. If you do this option, be sure to pay attention to the interest rate. They only give you 90 days to pay off. Then they charge an enormous finance charge. However, I love my puppy! He is super smart and adorable. Next time I will just pay cash upfront.

Rude employees, but we were adamant about getting our pup from here. Got a puppy, super cute and wonderful. Unfortunately things didn't work out at home (after 3 days). We called to see if we could return her and all they said was 'well you can't bring her back here' in a nasty attitude. They also clearly mistreat the poor babies here. Disgusting place.

Excellent grooming! Our Welsh Corgi Cardigan has damaged hair growth due to an ACL operation, so it is a challenge to make him look like the beautiful dog he is on the inside on the outside. Deanna nailed it. He looks like a new dog and he doesn't have the overly-perfumed smell that he had from our last groomer. He is clean and looking great! Thanks!

I just bought a little yorkie mix puppy she is the sweetest and cutest baby ever. The ladies at the store were so sweet and informative. I usually recommend adopting but if you want a small fluffy toy breed they have them and a couple large breeds as well. I’d recommend calling before just to be sure that they have your desired puppy.

The entire staff are friendly and very helpful throughout the entire process. They even offer packages at affordable prices full of items you need to take a new puppy home so that you can go straight home and enjoy your new pup. I would definitely recommend Puppy Galore to anyone who is looking for a new addition to their family!

We came in looking for a new member of the family and ended up with two! These little girls are going to bring our family so much joy! The staff were very informative and patient while we bonded with the puppies. You can tell they really take good care of them and care about finding them good homes. I would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Puppies Galore! Our family was the first to arrive on a Saturday morning, we got the puppy we wanted, a beautiful Cavapoo. The process was easy, quick and they sent us home with the essentials. Fast forward, 8 months, our puppy Rosie is the light of our life. Thank you Puppies Galore!

We just purchased our SECOND mastiff from this place! The 1st one was an English mastiff and we bought her 3 years ago. Today we purchased a bull mastiff! We love puppies galore and more! They are so nice and really care for the pups! It is obvious that they are all well taken care of and loved.

Dont trust them to inform you about new puppies, i called asking about a puppy and they told me they would be receiving them in 2 weeks and that they would inform me when they did but they ended up receiving the puppies early and never said anything and now they’ll be unavailable for months.

Recently adopted another fur baby here. One of the older ladies was so rude and unpleasant. And to make matters worse I took my pup to the vet and he has an infection from this place! Lucky the vet was able to give him some medication. Definitely consider before purchasing from here!

It has so many cute puppies, but we can't even touch or love them unless we are even remotely interested in buying one. How can you tell by looking. Getting to touch and feel makes a huge difference. Pluse it helps pets to be more adapt to humans.

We bought a Dogue De Bordeaux from here and he’s such a great dog. He had a hernia repair before we purchased him and it healed well. Our own family vet Has seen him and he’s in good health and an absolute joy. I would purchase from here again.

They are just OK. Not sure if these puppies they have come from puppy mills across the US. Ours came from another state and has had health problems earlier than any other dogs we have had. Plus, a little on the pricey side.

This is a long story but does have a happy ending. I adopted a husky from here for Christmas and my family fell in love the minute they met her. About 4 days after bringing her home she became sick and lethargic.

This place is great! I got a male Cava-poo who is very friendly and healthy! They have helped us through our choices, understood everything, and gave us all information needed! Definitely recommend!

I stop by with my daughter few weeks ago, I was looking for a puppy after someone try to scam me and drove to SC to get a puppy with the kids for nothing. The place did not exist.
