My husband purchased a beautiful ring for my 30th birthday in September during covid lockdown, however it was the wrong size. We were told I could not organise a special order for one until stores opened up again, which was fine. So as soon as stores opened up I went straight to Chirnside, excited to finally order in the correct size. I was turned away and told no stores would process special orders for the first few days. They were only concentrating on sales, which was apparently the case for all stores. Understandable when you have queues of customers, but there were two people in the store!! I then call another branch who said of course we're doing special orders, why wouldn't we? When customers support a business by purchasing their product during lockdowns, the least you could do is assist them with good customer service. I very rarely write reviews, but felt too strongly not to. Tomorrow I'll be going to Eastland, where they were more than happy to help me.

Bought an expensive titanium Seiko watch almost $2,000 took it in 18 months later as was no longer working. Was told that it was a problem with the charging mechanism. Left it with them for 3 months, eventually got the watch back, $200 for the repair. Still had the same problem, a friend recommended another watch repairer, had a look, found the watch had never been opened, battery was all that was replaced. Do not buy from this shonky store.

Had a great experience there. We were hesitant with shopping for the engagement ring directly at the shop in the first place (we are just afraid of the feeling of being pushed to buy etc) but we are glad that we did! Mark was extremely helpful and friendly. He is willing to work within our tight budget and didn't push us or anything like that. We are very happy with the purchase!

I have NEVER experienced such awful customer service in my life!!! The contracts are not worth the paper they written on. The man who is meant to be the store manager is degrading and belittling to woman. How such a revolting human can be in a customer service role is absolutely beyond me.

We are long standing customers of Michael Hill and always feel welcomed and supported. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The team go out of their way to assist us. Highly recommend Rita from Churnside Park store.
