I had the pleasure of being assisted by Lynn W at Michael Hill while shopping for a bracelet, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with her exceptional service. Lynn went above and beyond to ensure that my shopping experience was not only enjoyable but also tailored to my specific preferences. From the moment I walked into the store, Lynn greeted me with a warm and friendly demeanor that immediately put me at ease. She took the time to understand what I was looking for in a bracelet, asking thoughtful questions. Lynn's genuine interest in helping me find the perfect bracelet made the entire process feel personalized and special. Lynn's product knowledge was truly impressive. She guided me through the various options available, providing valuable insights into the bracelet. Also providing me with all the information, if i need to get it resized and what the best option was. She also ensured i got the best price possible. Lynn's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout the entire transaction. I am sure to return after this unforgettable experience with lynn.

Not transparency, shocking online customer service and bad quality diamonds Purchased a pendant and a pair of earrings for my partner and was not informed at the time of purchase that the 30-day refund policy does not apply to the earrings and the store just said that Michael Hill has a 30 day return policy (which is what is mentioned on the front page of the website as well) . When I decided to return the items to the store in 48 hours (items unworn of course) they told me that they can't take back the earrings and its company policy. The store said Michael Hill’s refund policy does not apply to the earrings and this is written in their website as well. You would not realise this policy exists unless you check the fine prints of the policy and the store does not explain this to you. Very disappointed. People should be able to purchase with peace of mind. The online support response was: I apologise if this was not communicated clearly at the time of purchase.

Can only speak to the service at MH Southland. I walked in only to get my finger sized, which you'd expect would be met with disinterest without a commitment to purchase, instead I was served immediately and with complete interest in providing that service. Further to that comes the real customer service... I unknowingly left a shopping bag from Kids Central that had my son's birthday present inside. Realising half way home I called their store and was informed that not only did they realise and secure, they noticed my details on the receipt and returned to Kids Central knowing they could contact me to collect. Outstanding. Thank you MH Southland. Above and beyond. Shows the level of service any customer would receive from this shop.

I went in an chose an engagement ring. Style, size and everything. We wrote all the details down in the book so when my partner went in he just needed to get the details from it and get the perfect ring. Whoever served him did not tell him that their ring sizes are 'N' and I needed an 'S'. They did not tell him he needs to resize it or he would of done it when he bought it. Most Men would be in the same position. So when he proposed on Christmas Day my ring didn't fit. So disappointed with the service and now we have to wait until the new year to get it resized and announce our engagement. Well done Michael Hill.

I had gone to ~8 stores (including another Michael Hill location) before I went to this one. Instead of giving miserable reviews to all other places, it's way more useful to highlight people who are actually fantastic at what they do. Isabella provided an excellent service, made me feel welcomed and was so helpful that I can't thank her enough. I was very specific about what I wanted and Isabella catered for those details with a smile and patience, something that seemed impossible in any other store. I will definitely be coming to this location more often!

Jenny served me at the Southland store and I’m happy she was the one that did she Presented everything with such professionalism and it felt almost as if it wasn't a worker that was helping me it was more a genuine friend that really knew their rings. ( there was another lady with her that helped aswell the second time and she was also equally as good and lovely I didn’t catch her name unfortunately) You guys have such a wonderful store and your staff easily made my whole engagement ring experience memorable in such a positive and warm way so thank you!

Recently bought my wedding band from MH Southland from Jenny. After looking for weeks for a ring for our upcoming wedding at so many different jewellers and not finding anything, my fiance and I found the perfect ring for me and couldn't be happier. Jenny with her fiery latino blood was amazing to us, wonderful person and great sales person for MH. We got a great ring, deal and care package. MH have amazing warranties which no other jewellers we attended did. Great range of products also. Thanks for bringing our big day one step closer.

A big thanks to Amber and the team at Southland! We went to purchase wedding rings and couldn't be more pleased with the chosen rings and especially the service of Amber. We were made to feel relaxed and very much valued as customers, we weren't rushed or pressured and we were extremely pleased with the end price and aftercare service, so much so, we also left with a new pinky ring for him and some beautiful diamond earrings for me! My girlfriend and I had a really good shopping experience! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. We’re really happy with the rings we bought. We spent a long time picking our engagement ring and wedding bands, Jenny was with us the whole time and helped us in everything we needed. We didn’t have a big budget, but Jenny was still really friendly and willing to help us with the rings and give us recommendations. Picking rings is important for us, and this shopping experience is always gonna be a good memory for us.

When I went to the stud shop, because I was a little over 60 they treated me extremely badly. I believe that this was based on the assumption that I may not have enough money. It was a very bad experience. In fact I had $15,000 to spend undermost. to them. I will definitely never put a foot into one of their shops again. They made certain undermining comments to me. If you don't look like you are an extremely wealthy person, I would recommend that one should never shop with them.

I purchased two rose gold bracelet and earrings on my birthday and they both broke into pieces within a few months. The bracelet wasn't even worn and just broke into two pieces. The earrings lost a part after the first time of taking them off. When I came to give feedback to the Southland store the attended was super rude, unprofessional and dismissive. Said it was all my fault jewelry breaks and that " I'm not the first and not the last" to complain. Hence it didn't matter.

I was very impressed with the presentation in the Southland store. The assistant, Sue, listened to my thoughts and was very helpful in directing me to a beautiful collection of jewellery. She explained the design represented the strength and resilience of a shell worn by waves which resonated with me. My daughter in law was delighted with her present and the meaning behind it.

Says online that they open at 9am. Got to the store right on time... they weren't open yet so I went to grab a coffee and even browsed in other stores. Came back 15 min later. Still not open, team members where in the store setting up and acknowledged that I was clearly standing out front. They didn't open finally until 9.30!
