These people honestly are the scum of the earth and I’m not exaggerating. My partner and I recently moved to Georgia and parked in midtown place for a chiropractor appointment. Afterwards we put the stuff they gave us in our cars and crossed the street to Ponce market to grab lunch. Upon returning we were both shocked to see our vehicles booted. Where we come from this is never anything we had to worry about but I guess things are just shady in Atlanta. The signs they have posted do not have all the required information by Georgia law and are very easy to misinterpret and miss. Trying to pursue this matter we wanted to get in contact with the property owner. But apparently these degenerates don’t know who they work for and refused to give us any information, I wonder why. The owner of midtown place is scamming people and making a fortune off of unlawful “parking violations” All the numbers we called on the posted signs were conveniently out of service and the towing company they have listed doesn’t even exist. They have these fake operators out there scouring the lot recording and taking pictures of people without consent. It’s very unnerving. I believe we were also easy targets because our vehicles had Florida license plates also. These lowlifes deserve to rot in hell for scamming people of their hard earned money. We are doing everything in our power to burn the scumbags of empire parking services to the ground!!!!

Not very friendly for people coming outside of state and visit, especially if you want to shop and eat. If you park at Midtown Place, eat there, shop, then walk across the street to Ponce City Market, your car will get booted and you will have to wait for them to arrive, pay $75, before they will remove the boot. They basically have cameras set up and watch for people walking across the street from Midtown Place (TJMaxx, Whole Foods, Starbucks, etc) and then track down where they parked. You will get booted and charged, even if you shop at the stores. We realized after that there are signs with a bunch of fine print. But not a single sign that says "No Parking for Ponce City Market, violators will be fined", because they are trapping people and making a small fortune. We saw a lot of people crossing the road the night our car got booted. We are from out of town and this was our first time to this area so we never saw the signs. The market itself is neat and worth a visit, but please beware of this parking scam across the street. Not worth your time to visit this place

Parking lot not friendly to visitor. If you walk across the street to the Ponce building, your car will get booted and you will have to pay $75 and wait for them to unlock it. They said you are not allowed to leave the Midtown Place parking lot without your car. However as a first time visitor to the shopping mall, how do I know that the Ponce building is not a part of the Midtown Place? The guy later told me that there are signs around the parking lot, but the sign worded confusedly and not a single sign that says "No Parking for Ponce City Market, violators will be fined", obviously they are trapping people and making a small fortune. Do they have right to set that rule and boot people’s car and ask for money? If yes, dose their signs sufficient or noticeable enough to every people especially visitor from other state or country?

When I first moved to Atlanta I had recently stopped working at Whole Foods in Nashville. I parked at what I am just now learning is called Midtown Place and walked to Ponce City Market to impulse buy an espresso machine, a Vitamix, a brand new living room set from West Elm, and a hamburger. I returned to my car to find it booted. I found a parking attendant and told him I worked at Whole Foods so my car shouldn't get booted. He balked, so I told him I could go get my manager from inside -- at that point, he folded and removed the boot. I drove away, but have returned many times over the years

Most employees that I've encountered during my shopping experiences have been very helpful and personable. I think my most recent trip was an exception. The associate was more interested in looking at whatever was on his phone and sent me on a wild goose chase looking for an item that was on the complete opposite end of the store. I usually find what I'm looking for and can get in and out fairly quickly. Parking is always accessible but be on the lookout for ppl walking in-between cars asking for help (money, services, etc.).

The shopping center is great but this parking reinforcement is bogus and totally a scam. They literally stalk you to see if you are leaving the property. Totally ridiculous and I will NEVER return to this place. This is an upper scale shopping center and they treat people like we are in the middle of you know what. They put a boot in your car and charge you $75. The funny thing was they were targeting out of state license plates, mine included in this. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

I do my best to either go as early as possible or as late at night as I can if I need something from one of the stores because of the one way in one way out deal and I just completely, at all costs, totally avoid it on the weekends. Poorly planned isn't even the right way to go about saying that! If you want to avoid the lines of traffic trying to get out and bad drivers, early mornings and late evenings are best for sure!

  • Tyler McEntyre

Prices have gone up! Notably at home goods. TJ max has better priced things and selection is pretty similar. Walmart here has the best, and most individually caring pharmacy of any I have ever filled rx at. They check with me before I need refills and keep me caught up so I don’t ever have to remember. There is a Kroger here also and Petco. Everything one could ask for anything they needed could be found here.

  • Kathy Tallini

i go to whole foods weekly at 7 am when they open. any other time (for me) is a traffic mess. i also frequent the home depot. both stores are fine. they have more stores - tj maxx, staples, petsmart, starbucks, cvs, matress firm - an eyeglass place - and more. UPDATE: im updating since it gets me more points. nothing has changed with the shopping center. but i have stopped my weekly visits to whole foods.

I absolutely loved my experience at the shopping mall! It was a shopaholic's dream come true. The vast selection of stores and boutiques offered something for everyone, and the layout was easy to navigate. The mall was impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I left with a smile on my face and a bag full of great finds. Can't wait to return for another amazing shopping spree!

Predatory parking practices. Not only is this parking lot difficult to get into and out of when it's busy, if you walk across the street for even a few minutes, they will boot your car and charge you $75 to get it off. How do they know you're walking across the street? Either someone's monitoring security cameras, or they pay people to watch your every move. If it's not illegal, it should be.

  • Kelley Nicholson

Make sure you wave at the parking gestapo as you walk into the TJ Maxx, Whole Foods, etc. It would probably be wise to offer them a sacrifice, your right arm or first born might suffice. Check in with them between stores. Don’t even look in the direction of CVS or Old City Hall. If you do, they will boot your car. It’s a $75 scam. I’ll never go to this shopping center again.

  • Brandon Schecter

Too car focused for the neighborhood. They need to build more pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. Despite being in Midtown directly along the beltline this massive parking lot is aggressively anti-pedestrian. Cars fly around from every direction without walking paths and they built a fence to block you from walking to the neighboring Trader Joe's Parking lot.

  • Angela Zagoura

Should be called Midtown Boot seriously we went shopping and cross the street to grab food and go had no idea this wasn’t allowed and we got the boot. The person who booted us bragged she’d been on the job ten years and knows what to look for and booted us as soon as we crossed the street. Ten years at that job was nothing to brag about ma’am/sir. Won’t be back

  • Betty Barnes

Hello everyone this midtown place is a great place for pets lovers, home Depot, and grab something in one place Free parking, safe place to shop the market a cross the street Pon market is a great, amazing place to shop and chill out, meet friends over coffee, lunch a great place for being out on the town, come as you are, Great, Friendly place Midtown place!

  • Elaine Lee

This place is ridiculously RACIST. I can't believe that I your staff member said at my face that "you guys are not understanding what I am saying" with shaking heads and rolling eyes. Why? Because I have an Asian face or because that I am speaking English with an accent and that you are a white man that we cannot understand your beautiful language?!

  • Debbie Ferguson

The Village Retail This was my first visit and it was great. They have been around for two years and present a medly of products from other entrepreneurs. They utilize the space very well for customers to view the products. The artwork very nice as well as the variety of candles, clothing, cologne and perfumes a definite must see. Enjoy.

  • Carlos Figueiredo

We had the worse experience in a mall ever! We were visiting the city and we park there to buy some groceries and then I got a ticket for $75 and my car immobilized. Even when I called and explained them I had the receipt and everything that proved I was shopping there, we couldn’t do anything but pay that fee. DON’T GO THERE

  • Chester Drake (Chip)

Worst shopping center in Atlanta! This modern shopping center is not only completely ADA unfriendly, it lacks crosswalks and curb cuts that make it a unsafe for any of its patrons once they are on foot. The owners have had years to fix their original design but have not made any improvements. Avoid it as much as possible!

  • Lucien Ng

Be very careful about its predatory parking practice! They seriously lack proper warning signs. So, if you decide to park, do some shopping, and then walk across the street to visit the Ponce City Market, be prepared for a car boot and a $75 fine. They have cameras set up everywhere to nail you as soon as you leave!

  • Jian Li

There’s a Parking TRAP here! Do not go cross the street to Ponce Market with your vehicle parking here, even if you shopped in the plaza! Ponce Market is not belong to this property! No impressed sign on the way to Ponce. Gestapo will look on your head through camera, boot your car, charge you $75 with no waiver!

  • kathryn postin

Don’t walk anywhere else besides these stores. We went to different stores not thinking about it and came back to a boot on our truck and a $75 fine!!! I will never come back, absolutely ridiculous, parking is ridiculous too so not sure what people expect. They watch you on the cameras and track your movement ..

  • Matthew Myers

The level of traffic here has gotten to a point where you run the risk of being able to leave the parking lot in less than 10 or 15 minutes. Great stores here, they need to figure out a way to do another exit, possibly a cut through past Home Depot and share a road with Midtown Promenade on Monroe.

  • Tannish Carter

Don't even feel like explaining..!! The rating I'm giving explains it..!!!!! Expensive rude and and disrespectful and on top of all of that it's too damn expensive. But I paid for it both ways for the last time..!! BAD ENERGY...BAD ENERGY...️️✌️ …

  • Cecilia Spears

It has an interesting assortment of stores. Usually well lit and well maintained. The parking can be a bit wonky so you have to really pay attention to where and how you park. Definitely check your car before and after parking. Other than parking this is a really convenient place to shop.

  • Tawana Hoosier-Dowlen

I visited for a small business meeting. The staff barely spoke, and the tables definitely need a little tlc. Overall, my experience was alright, but there is nothing to write home about! This location is always busy and normally a well-oiled machine. We all are human and make miskakes!

  • John Berger

A pretty large variety of big-box stores, restaurants, Home Depot, and Whole foods. Parking is an absolute nightmare, and if you park here and walk across the street to Ponce City Market, you'll definitely get booted -- they employ spotters that watch the parking lot like hawks.

  • Margaret Blanton

It's ok...it has lots of stores for an urban area. You have some good, basic stores. Traffic in and out is often a nightmare though. I don't think there is much that can be done about it though. It can take 20 min just to get out of there on a weekend.

  • Brad Webb

I like this mall for it's collection of stores. But it gets extremely busy and it usually takes a while to get out of the parking lot. Choose your timing very carefully. Don't park here and leave on foot or else your car will definitely get booted.

  • Latonya R.

The area gives the best shopping experience. Service from every retail is awesome I had my eyebrows threaded at "Unique" very professional and I love my eyebrows. I than headed over to Home Deport to pick up and order. They need more people

  • Stan Adler

I am absolutely disgusted by the way Midtown Place Shopping Center in Atlanta treated me. I visit this place frequently, this afternoon I spent $50 at Home Depot, then crossed the street for half an hour into Williams Sonoma, then came back

  • Mind YourOwn

Nice shopping center. However on most days from midday to evening weekdays and weekends it is very crowded making it hard to find parking spots. I suspect that part of the reason may be due to the fact that the Ponce Market is right across

  • Loys Camp

It's a wonderful place it's clean it's well patrol by the police or their own place of that center security they got some nice restaurants they got movie theater there and some nice stores the most of the roads are blocked off with cars

  • Thamar Lounie Joseph

Don’t show by this place. The whole point is charging you $75 for nothing. We’re not from Georgia we just went to shop and decided to cross over the street and have some food from Ponce Market (because we were hungry) and not even 1hour

  • brandon douglass

Booted despite spending almost $100 at the TJ Maxx here because I crossed the street. $75 to remove the boot. They have cameras and are literally paying someone to watch and see if you cross the street to go to Ponce. Not to mention the

  • Working for Change

Always packed. Parking is vicious. Don't park in the 15 minute spot. Incoming traffic never make complete stops at the stop sign & wont let you out. Great shopping stores. Whole foods, Staples, Target, the joint, Salada, Verizon.......

  • J C (Dad D)

Great area - Something to do for everyone, top-notch restaurants, and the scenery is always beautiful. One of our favorite areas to grab dinner after work or make a date night - we've been coming for years and will continue to do so

  • Wilson Cheung

Beware! Predatory booting that costs $75. You have no choice but to pay. This happens as soon as you walk outside the the plaza and they only have spare tiny signs to explain this that are easily missed.

  • Jojo Tang

Predatory booting, do not park here. Cameras everywhere watching you to make sure you don't leave the property and they won't remove your boot unless you pay. Absolutely disgusting practice.

  • MRS. Castleberry

Went to Home Depot to grab a few items. Mr. O'Neal helped me find the bug spray and paint. Very Nice and Helpful Gentlemen. PLEASE GIVE MR O'NEAL A RAISE. …

  • Seeker tosecrets

This shopping area has a plethora of stores to shop for personal health, office supplies, hardware, and it has a bank. If you live in the area or not, it's a great place to shop.

  • Yicong Xiong

BOOTED because we went across the street. We called 911, the police came but couldn’t help. Paid $75 plus transaction fees to unlock in the end. The sign wasn’t very noticeable.

  • FishieBoop

Hostile architecture against birds? Has good shops in it, last time I went some of the parking lot was under construction but cars just kept running over the cones.

  • Kayona King

Such a lovely upscale area. Dont risk parking here to go into Ponce City Market. They WILL boot your car. The Starbucks in this plaza is extremely spacious too

  • Trent Wilson

This has got to be the worsttttt parking lot in all of Atlanta…. Stores are nice, but the parking lot :( plan for a 20 minute wait to exit onto Ponce.

  • Zalli Garcia

Do not come here. If you park and leave the property to go to Ponce City Market, they will boot your car and then you have to pay $75 to remove it.

  • Dometri Craddock

Very Nice Conv convenient multi stores and home supplies shopping center Also adjacent to the belt line lots of eateries and grocery stores as well

  • Ms Bernise

I went to Home Depot at Midtown Place . Midtown Place has many other stores that I normally go to all in one area. It's very convenient.

When you go to the Atlanta Georgia shopping center, you have to buy something, or they put a boot on your car that is the crazy part

  • Jennifer “JeniFav” Favaloro

Contains Home Depot, Whole Foods, Pet Smart, Staples, TJ Maxx. Gets very busy and parking gets tight. Traffic in and out is a pain.
