Super disappointed.. I am pregnant and ordered the cauliflower bites which were delicious but for most of them the breading was not fully cooked so the batter was soft and mushy inside even though the outside crust was harder.. good effort..but please fully cook next time ! I ordered the 30$ steak which came with 2 sides I mean for 30 bucks I’m not expecting the world but the steak was undercooked when I asked due to me being pregnant I said it had to be well done and they brought me an under done steak . Fail ! And the sides I choose were fries and it came with green beans.. extremely small portion of steak like not even the size of my palm and the smallest portion of fries and only 10 green beans.. why so small portions ?? I’m super disappointed.. when I sent my steak back they brought me an even smaller size like 1/4 cup size of meat and it was severely burnt on the outside and the waitress said it was accidentally left on too long but if I didn’t like it I could send it back again… why bring something out that you guys know is wrong and gross … never going back seriously pathetic service …. The table we were at also was next to the stairs and the blinding white lights that point towards the table that illuminated the stairs felt like I had a car high beam light shining on me during my whole dinner .. really bad set up guys come on do better than this !

Milestones restaurant is a must-try for anyone looking for delicious and satisfying takeout or dine-in options. After hearing about their rare steak sandwich, I decided to order it through DoorDash, despite my reservations about ordering from a nicer restaurant for delivery. I was not disappointed! Despite the fact that the sandwich had been delivered to me, it was still hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I was blown away by how well-packaged and presented my meal was, especially since I had heard that food delivered through DoorDash often arrives soggy. But that was not the case here. The steak sandwich itself was a true delight, and I found myself craving another one as soon as I had finished my first. The meat was tender and juicy, and the bread was perfectly toasted. The flavor of the sandwich was simply outstanding, and I can easily say that this was the best takeout I have ever had. I highly recommend the rare steak sandwich to anyone who is looking for a satisfying and flavorful meal. Whether you are ordering through DoorDash or dining in at Milestones, you can be sure that you will receive a high-quality meal that will leave you feeling happy and satisfied. Definitely not recommend more this place. Yesterday I went with my family, to celebrate my birthday, and since we arrived there, people looked like didn't want to reception us. Starting with the girl, totally grumpy, putting us in a high table outside, clueless to see that we were with our 2 year old daughter together, not safely to her. We asked to change the table, for sure, but she didn't like. We just didn't know if we needed to stay there, waiting for her, or coming to the Reception again and see what happened after this. Then, she decided to accommodate us in a right table, we could ordered. Second thing was with my mom's order. Totally ridiculous. ONE small carrot piece in her vegetables, and some string beans, small piece of meat, and mashed potatoes. We requested to waitress to change the plate, but she couldn't. She just brought more vegetables and mashed potatoes, and told us that she didn't know what happened in the kitchen. If she doesn't know, imagine us. Terrible experience, terrible service, terrible birthday dinner.

I've been to Milestones a handful of times and it's never really stood out. Everything has been alright and it's never been my first choice but I've always been happy to tag along. My last visit was particularly notable. I would preface this with the following: I'm all for a greasy hamburger. Dry burgs are a travesty, so the following statement is not a product of me be adverse to grease.. But that Smashed Black & Blue Burger was by far the greasiest dish of any kind that I've ever eaten. I struggle to believe that "Wagyu" and a handful of cheese could possible produce the amount of grease that covered every inch of this (otherwise decent) burger. Did the chef drop a bottle of canola oil on it? Not sure, but it was truly drenched. Typically having a strong stomach, I naturally wasn't feeling great later that evening after the sheer volume of grease that was consumed. I'll go back if the crew wants to go there, but something went really wrong with this dish, unfortunately. On the flip side our server Tiernan, Tyrian, or something Lannister-like (sorry, I'm good at associating names but not the names themselves) was chill and the food was quick.

Will probably never return. I was really excited to try the Smashed Black N' Blue Burger with Wagyu beef. I have a gluten and dairy allergy so I asked for it without the blue cheese and bun. They put blue cheese on it. I hate sending stuff back but I had no choice... When I got it back, I noticed they forgot the mushrooms - one of my favorite parts. Then I opened it up and noticed the burgers were significantly smaller this time around and one of them looked like 1/4 of it had been cut right off. Had I been dining alone, I probably would have just left... I honestly felt really insulted. I didn't want to complain again though so I decided I'd only say something if our waitress asked how it was this time. She never did. I'm definitely regretting not saying something now though. It turned out to also be dry and flavorless. I've gotten better meals at chip stands and fast food restaurants. Super disappointing experience. I just wish I could get my $47 back

I have eaten a a few of the Milestones restaurants over the years and this one in Kanata in particular is one of the best. There are lots of cozy nooks and even though there is a lot of chatter you can have a decent conversation. 4 of us from our company Keysight shared a table and I will say Christine was an outstanding waitress. She made an excellent wine suggestion and we enjoyed it. there wasn’t a long time to wait for food, she offered helpful suggestions and checked on us often. I had the Iceberg wedge to start followed by the sweet chili chicken bowl. The iceberg had lots of blue cheese and bacon and tasted great. It probably could have been its own meal. The Chicken bill was well seasoned and balanced as far as rice and chicken. Great meal. I was pretty full after that. I highly recommend it. Everyone at the table agreed it was a great spot and we enjoyed chatting with Christine she had great energy and made it a fun experience . Make sure you ask to be seated at her table and tell her Tim sent you!

I dined in a few weeks ago for a solo meal, Mikhaila was my service and from the get go I was pleased. She was very attentive to my preferred seating (it wasn't super busy when I went in so she gave me a couple of options). The menu has changed a lot since the last time I was here years ago so I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for but asked my server what she would suggest, Also let her know im pretty picky when it comes to food lol. She suggested any type of burger and DEFINITELY get the parmesan fries as a side.... Anyway, I ordered a bacon cheese burger with all of the toppings and a side of parmesan fries**, Im putting stars next to this side item because it is literally to DIE for. It's so tasty. Im SO glad Mikhaila suggested those, or I would have just ordered regular fries, which im sure would have been great but not quite the same lol. TL:DR: Great service! (thanks Mikhaila), Great Food (thanks kitchen)!!! GO HERE, AND GET THE PARM FRIES AS A SIDE!!

Food was good. Service was excellent. Nice restaurant overall and seems well very well managed. Had calamari to start - was good, but I would drop the coconut and lower the salt as it was too salty. The mango dip with it was good. Had virgin Caesar and my wife had strawberry lemonade - both were good - liked the fresh mint in lemonade. I had the prime rib - was supposed to be medium rare, but came very rare. They did cook it a bit more and was good after. It came with mashed potatoes, which were good, but slightly undercooked and green beans, which were perfect. Wife had the chicken parmesan on noodles - she liked it and said it was tasty. The noodles had a herb dressing. For desert we had the cheese cake with caramel. Was good. Got coffee with it, which was good but not hot... Overall liked the experience and would be back.

Great, hip atmosphere. The staff were young, but eager and competent. Had the ceviche to start, and it came with lots of chips, but not much flavour. Could have used more lime and salt. The sweet chili chicken bowl was also generous but more flavourful! The Thai Basil Noodles were slightly sloppy but still had good taste and enough shrimp to satisfy! The house Inniskillen Merlot was surprisingly enjoyable too. Our server was.young and eager to please. An enjoyable night out.

I tried Milestones this Wednesday in Kanata and it was an amazing experience! On Wednesdays they have dinner for 2 options which includes one appetiser, main course for two and one dessert which I think is great option for 2 people!! We ordered Spinach and Artichoke dip and chips, Pesto Chicken Penne Asiago, Mediterranean Chicken and for dessert I ordered Carrot cake!! I loved everything but especially the Mediterranean Chicken which had alot of flavours and textures. It had chicken breast which was juicy and flavourful with goat cheese, chickpeas and spinach. The dressings on the side were soo good!!! A complete fulfilling meal!!! The pesto penne was good too and I enjoyed it!!!

We visited here for a dinner time . The atmosphere was pleasant, very silent and a good ambiance . I never felt this concealed ambiance in any restaurant in Kanata centrum . Food quality is top notch . Also service by the staffs are too friendly. The mushroom soup is so delicious. We can see all the flavours in Thai green curry. Cheesecake is melting in the mouth.

My fiance & I always point out how busy it is every time we pass by, so we had to try it for our anniversary ! We've never experienced "fine dining", so we didn't come in with any expectations. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our food & had a great time. We were the only table eating by the time we finished, but it was in-between meal times on a Saturday. I had the baby back ribs with grilled chicken breast, dill slaw, and cajun fries ($30) & my fiance had the sirloin steak with cajun fries ($32). His order was a lot smaller than mine despite costing more, as you can tell by the photos. This & the prices in general are probably the only downside.

Gonna go back for the Lamb Shank, one of their holiday menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the visit ***** Visited April 21 2022, around 6-7 pm (roughly) First time here. My partner brought me here to have a lil celebration. Thanks to him. I like the place, the ambiance. I can say the setting of the restaurant is organized. Food we ordered were very tasty, including the drinks and dessert. Mikhaela (if I spelled it right) was the one who served us that night. She was very polite and she did a good job there. Thank you. I won’t brag too much about this place, that’s how content I am with the food, service, ambience and top of the line hospitality. Our server was a great guy who accommodated us without reservation for our Valentine’s Day lunch. We made an impromptu plan and we’re lucky enough to get a table to ourselves and enjoy the food, music and a calm afternoon. The food here is great. Just reserve your table before coming in, order anything from the menu and you won’t be disappointed Highly recommend for everyone including kids.

This was my first time at Milestones. I usually take pictures of the meal I had, but I forgot this time. I was with a bunch of family members. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and all was cooked to perfection. For lunch I had a steak sandwich on a very tasty bun with a side of fries. Service was A1 and the staff was very friendly. So if you haven't tried eating at Milestones, give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

My husband and had a wonderful lunch date today at the Kanata location. Our waiter Jake provided excellent service, checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our food and experience. The food was excellent and a great value for what you get. With one small issue that was taken care of immediately we were visited by a manager with an apology and offered a free dessert. We appreciated the attention to making our outing a wonderful experience as we aren’t able to get out together often. We will be back to take advantage of their Wednesday night date night soon!

The service was excellent, as was the food. It's a bit of a fancy decor and atmosphere, but customers were dressed in all different manners. The price was reasonable and there really wasn't any wait for a table or for the food. Everything was quick. I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was so delicious. I also tried to white chocolate cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious too. It was a great meal before going to the cinema across the parking lot on a date night.

GO TO THIS RESTAURANT ASAP! Five stars!! I have never had a bad experience at this Milestones location. Food is always amazing, and the service is always top notch! Never an empty water glass. The music is never too loud. Just a very comfortable atmosphere. The menu selection is great - pastas, burgers, fish, chicken dishes, vegetarian options, sandwiches...etc. I'm a pretty picky eater, and I have loved everything I have eaten. The food is always so fresh and perfectly made. Never cold, over cooked or undercooked. For a fancier place, the portions are huge too. I am always stuffed when I leave. I try to visit this Milestones at least once a week! Check it out!!!!

Very disappointing dinner!! We ordered 3 meals worth $30 each dish tonight plus wine for a total of $150 The summer feature Seafood curry was a joke...just a big plate of rice, barely any seafood. Both other dishes were cold despite sending it back it came out cold Disappointed by manager's attitude...she comes out asking for feedback but then defends the food and raising her voice on us!! Definitely waste of money...not returning back to this Milestones especially because of the manager's attitude...she was rude!!

Love this location, it has a seating arrangement for everyone. From well lit, larger tables for families and business people to smaller more romantic tables for couples. Food is simply delicious and fresh. We had two different dishes including the Sweet Chili Chicken bowl and Mediterranean Chicken. Both were great and flavourful but the Sweet Chili one is at another level, well balanced and delicious.

Adding another review for the last time we were there. We showed up 15 minutes before 5 and when the waiter came to our table there were still 3 minutes left for the happy hour, the waiter acknowledge that the happy hour hasn't ended but refused to serve us the happy hour items cause we are "too late". Like always, food tasted fine, service just cannot seem to keep up with the price. Love the decor and the food is delicious. We did moved our table from the patio to the inside due to the heavy wind last time.. the service was really bad so I guess our server wasn't happy.

We arrived 10 mins late, but were served promptly. Our waitress finally took our order for our drinks. 20 mins later a different server brought our drinks. After about another 20 mins our waitress took our order for food. 45 mins later the server that brought our drinks brought our food. Unfortunately it was all cold. Cooked to perfection, but if they had brought it out 15 mins previously it would have been a great meal. They did compensate usgreatly for our meals, but this did not make a good first impression.

We made a reservation a week early but they put us in the bar section. I ordered the lamb shank off the holiday menu but then the only told me it was sold out after the appetizers. Sold out on Sat at 7:25 which is really bad planning. I had to order something quick so I thought the rib steak would be quick. The steak arrived with dried out potatoes and inedible green beans, no fat cap, 1/2 thick for $52 on the menu. They gave it to me for the price of the lamb shank $43 and it still wasn't worth it.

There wasn't too much selection for brunch choices but I was pleasantly surprised with my dish. I ordered a California Benedict and it was very delicious. This is usually our go to place, but today was a real disappointment . Our salads were such small portions for 18 dollars, arrived with six pieces if beets and six pieces of tomatoes, a hand full of mixed greens and had no goat cheese and no pecans. The steak for an add on was another 18 dollars which was so small. I've had this meal so many times before and today was a disappointment. My daughter had the same salad with a shrimp add on and she got four small shrimp for $ 11.00 add on. It will be a while before I go back.

I was in town for a wedding and they had a social at this place. The bar tables were all reserved for the party. The service was great and quick. Staff was very attentive. As an American I am used to extremally large food portions and I was not disappointed at all. Very good food, quick service, friendly staff.

The total quantity of salad doesn’t even have $5 worth of food in there . No goat cheese and was missing most of toppings. We went as part of a large group. This kitchen was amazing in how they accommodated special dietary needs. No eggs or dairy for some. Nut allergies or gluten free. Not one error in our group of 24. Service was outstanding, and food was fresh and delicious. This is not a 5 star restaurant, it's a high class burger joint, so expecting refined haute cuisine is just silly. Fantastic vibe, awesome drinks, prices are not too unreasonable. Great place for groups. #localguide

Such a fabulous experience tonight at Milestones. The restaurant is impeccablely clean, nicely designed and layed out. The service staff was extremely attentive, friendly and had a sense of genuinely wanting to provide the best experience. Our server had a full grasp of menu items, how they tasted, food portions and spice levels. Compliments to the chef as the food was amazing especially the chicken! Wow. Definitely make a point of checking out this restaurant.

Our waitress was either too busy or just bad, she did not give us side plates for appetizers, she brought our mains out with the appetizers, we had to flag her down to get anything to the table. The food was okay, with the wings being better than the mains we ordered.

Great layout, staff are attentive. Handled large group of 19 with no delays. Free parking. Great menu Just returned from another dinner. Once again our sever was quick, asked about allergies and on top of things our complete meal. The manager , she was out on the floor the whole time we were there checking in with guests making sure everything was meeting expectations. So nice to see. Very highly recommend this place. 6 stars if I could!

Milestones has always been a win for our family. The decor is on point, modern with a sexy flair. The food has always been excellent. We've eaten lunch and dinner there many times. Given the high food prices, we find great value dining here. The staff have been friendly and responsive. I highly recommend it whether its a date night, girls night out or a family celebration.

I had the squash ravioli which is my go to favourite. Not anymore. There were no little peppers and it was so salty I sprinkled it with lemon to try to cut the salt. It was still inedible. I had it a month ago and it was delicious so I assume it has something to do with the chef.

Greeted by a pleasant hostess and prompt waitress came by to introduce herself. We never felt rushed as we enjoyed a variety of appetizers, drinks and then entrees. St the beginning they asked if we were celebrating anything special and provided two free desserts. Steaks were cooked perfectly, generous portions served following Covid19 guidelines. Never been to Milestones but now will go back.

Food was mediocre, our seating was basically a hallway. The server was really nice and made the extra effort, but that's only one of three possible good things. And the food took a really long time. Despite it being only 430 when we were seated, it took till 7pm for our dinner to end.

Where to start, my Caesar drink was nasty tasting then I ordered a coke and it was brought to the table nearly clear. There was no carbonation nor any syrup so it was pretty much a tonic water. I ordered the steak sandwich and the meat was still bloody very uncooked… do not recommend at all. Would rate 0 if I could… + took 35 to get served .. than another 30 to get our food ordered.

Great restaurant in Kanata! Friendly staff, great food and great drink selection. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Dropped by here for a snack after a long day. Helped by beautiful weather the terrace is a great place to unwind. Good atmosphere and staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a couple of starters the fish taco and beef slider both of which were awesome. I followed up with a Showstopper coconut mouse with chocolate ganache. Prices very reasonable as well. What’s not to like?

This is the second time we have eaten here with family and both times it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious with lots of choices and options for specific diets and the service was excellent. Attentive and friendly servers made us feel welcome and not rushed. Amazing food and great customer service! Couldnt be happier with them, we will be going back soon. ❤️

I had a wonderful experience at this location thanks to Kristy! I’ve been to tons of milestones locations and this one is the absolute best I’ve been to in the 5 years that I’ve been a customer. She is attentive, sweet and an overall pleasure to be served by. Thanks Kristy and team!

The black n blue wagyu smash burger was a huge letdown. Burger lacked flavour like you’d expect from a smash burger w/no caramelized crust on the pattys. Was told the burger contains nuts which tells me there’s filler.. Also had the Parmesan fries which were so salty they were inedible. Waste of $25

It was great. My spouse did not like the long wait, probably took about 45 mins to get our meal for a slow Sunday lunch. Overall, as expected on my end. Next time I will ask for no salt on my fries!

We were here for Sunday brunch and had a great time. Their coffee tasted really good and food was quite nice. I think I had the best scrambled eggs. Although the bill came out quite pricey, we know it’s an upscale restaurant. Great place to watch sports games and essentially for any meals or drinks. A great place to hang out!

Covid has brought tough times to all of us and with short staff they are still doing their best to serve everyone. I went there with my family and enjoyed the food. Ambience is nice while some sections where closed for distancing. I always love their food and service. Will certainly keep coming back for more great food.

Location closes at 11pm but server said kitchen closed and drinks only at 9:20? That’s poor practice and it leaves your returning customers open to repeated disappointment. Won’t be returning until you get your basic business practices sorted. This is basic stuff.

Stopped in with a group of business peeps on a week night with no notice. These folks accommodated our group of 10 without breaking a sweat. Food was great, server was very professional, and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Highly recommend.

First visit here - such phenomenal service! Everyone was smiling and personable. Great experience overall. Had the spinach and artichoke dip, and the 1989 burger with a fried egg added on top. Will definitely visit here when in town next!

If you've been to one Milestones you've been to them all. Like all the rest, it's a 4 star experience. Tries a bit too hard to be fancy and upscale, but I can't hold that against it.

We have been twice, both times the service was good. The food seems to be really great. My burger the most recent time was a bit over cooked but no biggie. The gentlemen bartending was on it, super attentive and professional. More

Always a great experience here, even when it's busy you feel like you're the only people in there if you get in the section down the stairs! Food is consistent and the last 2 times we've gone the waiter we had was outstanding!

The steak sandwich is absolutely decadent. Appetizers were great. Mojito was fantastic. Service was super friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Kanata.

Food is freshly prepared and very flavourfull. The wait times are fair. The staff wasn't the friendliest. I guess the clothes you wear can be a factor. Other than that it was good.

Clean and variety of choices. I tried a new item from the menu (caprese crispy chicken sandwich) which was kind of blend. However the food is good here. Will go back again.

Took parents out to dinner a couple of weeks ago to celebrate their anniversary. The food was great as always and good portion sizes. Everyone enjoyed it very much.
