I strongly recommend not using this place due to unprofessional service, poor quality work, recommendations for unnecessary work and lack of management responsibility for their sloppy work. went for maintenance package; they spilled oil on the engine, didn't top up fluids, didn't change lights as agreed, refused to honor a $25 that they surcharged previously. The worst part was suggesting work that was not needed as confirmed by another 2 shops I took it to. Shame on you, I will never use them again. Yes Marty, after complaining to head office your owner sent me an email suggesting to bring the car to the shop to check it. How could I trust your shop when I complained to you personally about the spilling of the oil on the engine, fluids not topped up, no rotation of the tyres all part of the package I pais for but were not performed and you did nothing not even make a suggestion to fix this poor job. I guess I paid over $200 for a poor sloppy oil change!! The other thing is I went totwo shops, if they were dishonest garages, they would have happily changed the broken coils. They were decent garages that said the car is in good shape and doesn't need anything and they didn't find any leaks from the engine either as per your recommended flush job. Unprofessional and avoid using them.

I can’t say enough good about this shop and the folks inside of it. I dealt with Marty over the phone for about a week as the work was being performed. They had my vehicle in and booked for an appointment extremely quickly, and 100% worked within the constraints of my budget. Marty and the mechanic both took a large amount of time to speak with me about the issues involved, calling me before and after every bit of work was completed to update me on the progress. The vehicle I brought in was a project budget vehicle, and they got it on the road for next to nothing. The big kicker here is the time spent explaining in detail everything they found wrong with the vehicle, and everything still suspected to be wrong with it. I took the truck home and with the mechanics advice, fixed the last remaining issue in about 30 minutes. They could have gouged me on shop rate for the work they performed and the information they provided but they did the complete opposite. Extremely trust worthy staff. Extremely positive experience. Amazing service at Minit-Tune & Brake in Crowfoot! I called yesterday to see if they could get me in today to check my noisy muffler and sure enough they could at 10am. I mentioned I had to be in a meeting at 1:30pm today and they said it would not be an issue. During my visit, Marty took me inside the shop while my car was on the lift and running to show me the problem - the catalytic converter and flex pipe needed replacing. Marty then quoted me and said the part was on the way from South Calgary and he should have my car done by 1pm or 2pm. I mentioned that I had to leave by 1pm for my meeting and he said if it wasn't ready by then, he'd arrange a ride for me to the meeting and back. At 12:15pm I was having lunch when the phone rang and it was Marty notifying me my car was ready to go! I can't say enough about the customer service, honesty, integrity and clear communication this shop offers. I come from a family of mechanics and I'm sure they would agree that Minit-Tune & Brake is top notch. I highly recommend them for any muffler and break repair!

I brought my car in to get a block heater installed and my horn fixed because it does not work. After one hour I was told that my car does not have a block heater, which I already knew, and that they need to look further into why my horn doesn’t work so they need to charge another hour. I was given a quote of $650+ to install the block heater and another $600+ to replace the clock spring. I left my car at the shop for a total of 3.5 hours and ended up paying $350 just for the diagnosis of a clock spring in need of replacement. I called later to voice my frustration of having to spend $350 just for the diagnosis of my horn clock spring needing to be replaced and the feeling of being ripped off but was met with excuses of why the diagnostics took so long. It was pretty easy to see I do not have a block heater, so I don’t understand how it took over my initial hour for professionals to diagnose the faulty clock spring. Safe to say I will not be returning to this shop to have work done on my car.

I have had my vehicle serviced here on several occasions and have always found them to be very professional. Marty makes sure to explain exactly what needs to be done versus what isn't a priority. This is a refreshing change from other repair shops that seems more intent on squeezing every dollar that they can get by making every item seem like it is the end of the world if you don't take care of it immediately. My visit this time was for an insurance inspection, which resulted in a couple of minor repairs necessary to pass the inspection (one of which I had been advised about on a prior visit, but which wasn't a priority at the time). If you want to deal with an honest, reliable and friendly auto repair facility, then this is the place to go!

They did a great job. Mike and Marty were both friendly and professional. They helped me find a day and time to accommodate my work schedule, took great care of my car and made sure I was always in the loop every step of the way. Since we are mid-pandemic right now, I should also mention that I felt totally safe dropping off and picking up my car and watched them sanitize the parts of the vehicle they had touched during service. Marty also made special note of any repairs that could wait until my fall visit. I opted to get everything done right away but loved having the complete picture presented when making decisions. Mike and the team did a great job as always. I Called to see when a service could be done thinking it was going to be the following week I was told I could bring it in the following day.From dropping off the vehicle to picking it up I was advised what the problems were and how it was going to be fixed. A big thank you as not only was I able to get the vehicle ready for the summer,but was also able to figure out a problem and solution with the check engine light that no other mechanic could figure out!!!The price was reasonable and very fair for the amount of work done. I have been taking my vehicles there for a very long time. The reason why; they are honest, tell you what is wrong with your vehicle, if it needs to be fixed and why. They give you options and the advantage and disadvantages for each options. They are human and not god, if they were God you couldn't afford them. They are reasonable, upfront and most importantly honest. Look at CTV report about them! Like they say a good mechanic is worth their weight in gold. I found a gold mine. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, and even with male mechanic friends feeding me advise, I have never trusted mechanics. Now, I do. Marty at Crowfoot Minit-Tune in Calgary was unbelievably helpful and honest with me and helped me figure out what to do with my old car, without an agenda to increase his business. Not only would I come back here for anything car related, but I feel so grateful that honest and awesome mechanic shops are out there.

I went to get my tire repaired. They told me the tires were too worn and needed new ones. I know they all try this, but I decided to get them since it had been 77,000 km. After they were finished they asked if my engine ever not started. I told them never even in -20 without plugging it in. They said it didn't start once for them and I needed a new battery. I said no as it has always been good with no problem. I'm a little sceptical of this place.

Took my son’s VW Jetta in for a brake inspection. Marty was excellent in providing a clear evaluation of the necessary repairs. The final bill was almost $500 less than another estimate from another business in the Crowfoot area. Only the rear brakes needed replacement rather than front and rear quoted by the other outfit. Their followup after repairs were completed was excellent and I highly recommend Minit-Tune in Crowfoot.

They tried to convince me to pay $2500 to replace my brake pads and routers! I ended up finding the parts and service for roughly $750. They gave me that quote with "the cheapest parts they could find". I have no idea where they get their numbers from, but I have a feeling they gave me this quote because I'm a female and they thought I wouldn't question them.

Took my Honda Civic in to get the AC recharged. Work was done well, friendly, on time and for the price quoted. They suggested my brakes need to be done... and I believe them to be true. The price they quoted was half what I paid last time I did my brakes, I will be scheduling the works soon. Marty is a friendly and by my account honest guy I can trust.

The most friendly and honest mechanic shop I've found. My girlfriend and I have brought our Escape into Marty's shop every time we've had a problem with it and after the diagnose he always takes the time thoroughly explain the problem. I have been using Minut Tune for many years and recently brought my baby( '65 Cobra replica) in for general inspection and fuel pump. I built the car in 2005 so I dont trust just anyone with it. They did a excellent job on the hoist going over detailed inspection of components that are hard to see otherwise. Well done guys.

Recently had wheels switched over on my suv and it cost almost 70$ just to take off a few lugs and put them on again.. Im happy it was done quickly but for a small task like that it shouldn't be this much and other garages charge much less and I know this because I have receipts to prove it.

I had an out-of-province vehicle inspection done here. Very good service. The manager, Marty, is very nice. I also went back to have them switch my licence plates for me, as I couldn’t remove them with my own tools, and they didn’t charge me for their time. I’ll definitely return.

Over the years, I have tried many shops to find one that was trustworthy and honest. Nobody is perfect and mistakes can happen but... this place stands by their work which is very rare today. They care about their customers and about providing great service. Highly recommend!

If you want to get ripped off go to MINIT-TUNE for auto repair they are basically thieves, they are dishonest bunch of liars, also contradict themselves , also do the work without written authorization to install a battery to my daughter vehicle incurred a cost of $571.00
