I am a board member of a nonprofit performing arts organization that had outgrown its storage unit elsewhere. We had been waiting in vain for a 10x20 unit with outdoor access at the same facility, so I looked around and found Mira Mesa Self Storage. What a difference! Everything on the whole property was amazingly clean and in good condition, while the other facility was marked by scuff marks, bits of trash, and doors that were banged up and difficult to open. Todd and Michael went out of their way to be informative and helpful over the phone, in emails, and in person. They seemed to sincerely care about helping me to have a good experience. The gate access hours here are more limited (M-F 6am-8:30pm, Sat-Sun 6am-6:30pm, closed major holidays) than at the other facility (6am-10pm 365 days per year). However, we had never actually needed the extended hours at the other facility, so it didn't make sense to continue paying more for that level of access. This unit is four times the size of the unit we were renting at the other facility, at only twice the price. I like that the monthly rental price is locked in for the first year--at the other facility, it goes up 10 percent every six months. The charge if we need to have our lock cut off ($35) is also less than half what it was at the other facility ($70). Very pleased!

Got here 20 min before closing and Chris was in the office to help me out. I wanted to get things done before closing and told him I didn’t need to see the unit but he told me It would be a better idea to see it before doing the paperwork and I’m glad I did, just to make sure my things will fit. Chris is super awesome and very friendly , even though I was the last customer of the day and came close to closing I didn’t feel rushed. He got all the paperwork together quickly. Amazing customer service, storage unit/area is very clean and grounds are well maintained. Affordable for what we need, I’m so happy I found and chose this place. If you need a storage unit do not hesitate to choose Mira Mesa self storage and a big plus is that they guarantee their price for 1 year. Other places do it for 6 months only.

I highly recommend Mira Mesa Self Storage to anyone looking for a storage facility. I have stored my stuff with them multiple times on and off as I move houses and I’ve never been disappointed. I have referred my family and they are always happy with the place. Most recently, on November 10, 2020, I was in need of a place to store my daughter’s stuff, called them and immediately got a nice space. Aminda at the front office did a great job showing us available spaces patiently and Chris the manager gave us a truck to use. More so there was no driver available and he offered to drive the truck to my house, wait for us load and drove it back to the storage for us to unpack and store our things safely. I highly recommend them and will definitely store with them again if need arises!

My experience with Mira Mesa Self Storage was exceptional. They were the friendliest and most accommodating storage company I reached out to. They were the only company willing to hold a storage unit for a few weeks ahead of my move date so that I wouldn’t be scrambling three days before trying to find a unit that worked. Every other company just told me “We don’t do that, no exceptions.” The employees were all very pleasant. The units and property are well maintained and I feel safe storing my belongings here. My experience with Mira Mesa Self Storage has been wonderful! I was anxious about finding a storage unit large enough for my car and belongings but their drive-up units were the perfect solution. When I called a week before my move, there were no drive-up units available. Chris told me he could put me on a wait-list, but I wasn't very hopeful a spot would open up in time. Two days later Chris called back to say the exact unit I wanted was available. I was thrilled! We managed all the paperwork electronically, which I really appreciated during this pandemic. Mira Mesa Self Storage has the most reasonable rates of all the facilities I researched and their service is excellent. Highly recommended!

Am a student, need somewhere to store my stuff while returning home during summer vacation, and happened to see someone recommend this storage online. After some digging online and in their website, I called in advance to complete the lease. The storage is clean and well kept, with easy access by car and the staffs are all really helpful and nice. Since I sealed the lease in advance online, the rest of the in person procedures took no time at all, very handing for busy finals week! They also have student discount, so would definitely recommend Mira Mesa Self Storage for college students.:)

Chris and Todd made this move in experience so easy for me. They were attentive on the phone and got back to me quickly to assure me they had the perfect place for me. When I arrived at the storage facility it was clean and immediately greeted by Todd and Chris keeping the social distancing as well as wearing their masks. Storage space was clean and well lit. By getting my information on the phone it made the process a breeze allowing me to enjoy the rest of my Saturday. I feel safe and secure at Mira Mesa self storage!

T O double D (Todd) hooked me up. Michael was also super chill and friendly. They both were awesome and get 5 ⭐. MMSS was a little bit more to get a 10 x 10 but the awesome customer service more than made up for it. The storage unit and surrounding areas are very clean. There is equipment free to use. I actually feel safe leaving my things there. They have basic insurance included in the price. That was also worth the extra money. Pay a little bit more and get the better service here!!!

One of the best places for storage thanks to the service provided by the staff there. In particular Todd is very helpful and upfront about the entire process and helps you through it all. The storages are clean and well lit. There's also some basic trolleys to help you move your stuff around. Ask them for a discount on the first month !

Great service, would definitely recommend. Got a 3x3 unit to keep some items in for a few months, and I had a great experience with the staff and the storage facility as a whole.
