I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT SO MUCH!!!! I really can’t recommend this place enough. I always order the haddock and chips with a soda. Their fries are fresh cut, their fish is always perfectly coated and crispy, and their coleslaw hits you with the perfect amount of acidity to cut through the grease of the fried foods. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. I’ve been to numerous other fish and chip places, but NOTHING beats Marketplace. The batter and cook on the fish makes ALL the difference. The chefs here are really top notch when it comes to frying fish. Every single order is crispy on the outside, but still soft and moist on the inside. I absolutely hate over cooked foods, but I’ve never experienced that here. I don’t know if their tartar sauce is homemade, but it’s fantastic as well. Portions are HUGE. You’ll leave with a happy tummy for sure. What really sets this restaurant apart is the service. I eat out wayyy too much (8-10 times a week) and this place has the BEST service. The servers are so helpful, always willing to go the extra mile and have the best attitudes. Oriana (sorry if I misspelled) is amazing! She has such a warm hearted and kind soul. It immediately shines through even in the small interactions we’ve shared. The hospitality here just knocks it out of the ball park. This joint is one of my favourite restaurants in Mississauga hands down. I just wish they were open 7 days a week. ;)

I bought fish and chips with a large coleslaw for $29, hoping to have a great dinner I ordered it in the restaurant and said for take out! , in the car I noticed a very fishy sent to the food inside the bag… When I got home and open the package, the presentation was so lousy fish was not even holding together, and I was so hungry I force myself to try a little bit, and it absolutely sucked!!, the batter was falling off the fish and wouldn’t even stay on fish was smelly and absolutely disgusting! I’m never going there again and don’t tell me you weren’t warned after reading this!

Went with my partner for dinner one weekday night as I've always past by it and wanted to try. I had the Haddock with chips and my partner had the cod. Both fishes were fresh, crispy, and seasoned well. Not soggy or oily like some places. I normally don't like to eat Fries, but their Fries tasted really good, and I also ordered gravy on the side which complimented the Fries. The coleslaw was creamy and crunchy. The worker who cooked the dishes and served us was sweet and nice and talked to us for a few minutes at the end of the meal.

Was brought here one time with a friend and absolutely loved it! I come back every now and then and always get the halibut special that comes with fries, gravy, and a drink which is a bit pricy but I’m fine with that. The customer service here is amazing despite it being quite busy during rush hour sometimes. The ladies here are so sweet and kind - it definitely leaves a good impression and makes for an overall pleasant dining experience. The portions are quite large (especially for one person) so be prepared to take some leftovers home or to be completely stuffed.

Been living in the area for 5 years and can’t believe it took me this long to give this place a try! I ordered the family deal with haddock and chips and was pleasantly surprised. Huge pieces and cooked well - not overdone and lightly battered. Chips with malt vinegar was super delicious. Definitely recommend for those looking for good fish and chips in Mississauga!

I love fish and chips! And this restaurant gave me a different perspective of fish and chips! Hands down best fish and chips place in Ontario!! The coat around the fish is so light that you can actually fully enjoy the fish taste! Onion rings are fire too!! I go there everytime I crave fish an chips!

A wonderful meal when you're craving fish and chips. I had haddock and chips in a combo. Service was attentive, helpful and friendly. Fish and chips was delicious. Batter was light and airy, I think tempura made with soda water. Portion size was large. You could share with another person. Tartar sauce looks homemade, tasted great but not enough...should've asked for more. Overall a solid meal. A star off for sticky tables though. I hate when I have to ask for a clean up.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish tacos! The cod & chips were great too!

I absolutely love this place. My favorite fish and chips in the city. Perfectly fried, delicious fish, chips and Cole slaw!! The fish is a great portion (8 to 9oz) with the perfect ratio of batter. Crispy, not oily (so you know it was fried at the perfect temp). The service is amazing, staff are so incredibly friendly. This is a must visit....

Was it the best in Mississauga absolutely not but it’s edible and worth a one time visit. The price I consider to be alittle steep for what they’re serving and the clam chowder was unimpressive to me in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it was canned and warmed up to serve. The actual fish and chips itself was edible and not bad.

Had the haddock and chips special. Crispy batter, good quality chips, and the portions were more than filling. The coleslaw is quite good - just the right amount of creamy and crunchy. Server was very attentive.

Haddock and fries both either were from frozen, not fresh, or made in old oil. This is the second time with same experience. As a fan of fish n chips I can’t recommend. Plus when you’re eating something as unhealthy as fish n chips and at $15-20 price point, it least better taste great. Gravy was amazing however.

This is the kind of independent gem you love to see thrive. Plentiful yummy portions but moreso, friendly and warm people who take the time to know and remember their customers. It has become our Good Friday tradition to grab F&C from here :) Don't skip the coleslaw and homemade tartar sauce...both *chefs kiss*

I went there last week to buy a piece of fish. It cost me $13.51 - not worth the price for what he gave me. The fish tasted weird, freezer burn, no seasoning, no flavor. He didn't even give me a piece of lemon with it. I will never go back to this place.

This is not my first time here, but this is my first time to order calamari. The food is usually good, but the fried calamari was terrible. That is the least to say. It felt not just frozen but old frozen. Also it was not fried properly because it was frozen and not defrostet properly..

Halibut and chips was excellent, suoer friendly staff, generous portion (Soooo rare these days) and nothing fancy but a nice littl place. Highly recommend.

They actually don’t give you Halibut when you order it. They pull off Haddock as a Halibut (scam) Fish & Chip. Not impressed with this place. Fish Batter has no flavour at all and all you taste on the fries is oil.

Very good place everything is near Tim Hortons, Market place clinik, Fish & Chips, For fresh vegetables Ocean grocery centre , TD bank RBCc bank. Dollarama etc etc.

Pretty good spot for your fish and chips cravings. Had the halibut and cod combinations for carry out. Nicely done. Need to try calamari next.
