"This playground is fun apart from the fact that the ramp access to the slippery dip has steel bars sticking out past the side rails that can barely be seen, and when a 2yr old goes running up to play they cannot see it and it is right at the height of their head so what happens? They smack straight into it, and they go flying to the ground"

It's spacious and ideal for a picnic or quick break-away with family and friends. Got a play area for kids, BBQ areas, a separate ground along with restrooms. Its dog friendly as well. If you are interested in the history of the area, you could see the historic keystone bridge, and the ancient trees of the historic Mitcham Village. For photobuffs, it would provide beautiful greenery, landscapes and portrait options of the tree trail, the creek, etc
Playground
Spacious, open playground for entire family.
Restrooms
Clean washrooms.
Picnic area
Few BBQ spots stationed next to the creek.

This playground is fun apart from the fact that the ramp access to the slippery dip has steel bars sticking out past the side rails that can barely be seen, and when a 2yr old goes running up to play they cannot see it and it is right at the height of their head so what happens? They smack straight into it, and they go flying to the ground. They either need to be cut off or padded.

Picnic area
Nice areas to sit with tables or plenty of grass

A nice little place for a picnic and play! Quite a few areas for BBQ and plenty of seating. Also has a good area for kids to play, toilet facilities and a covered seating area. A good place for a picnic. There are a couple of bridges there too but the water had dried up when we visited, I imagine the place would look even better with a stream under the bridge! There is ample parking here as well.. The best part though, dogs are allowed on lead!

Nice, nice, and nice. Always good to have an afternoon walk and greeted by beautiful weather, small picnic kit, watching kids pushing each other and yelling hows life not fair cause they have to give way to smaller person etc etc. All is here, preparing your kid to rough aussie education and environment, its always good to introduce a hint of bullies in your kids life.

Spent a couple hours here on a sunny morning and my three year old had a blast. She first of all enjoyed the play equipment then the gardens and then the creek. This park has great amenities including toilets, BBQ and easy parking.
Playground
A small playground but spread out over a large area. A range of activities best suited to 2+ years

Beautiful park with a large grass area with picnic tables and a playground. The creek is nice some rocks but a little area to touch the water but not very safe as small kids can easily fall in and get hurt. My daughter is 3 years old and she loved the park but I could not relax because she was always dangerously playing too close to the water.

A beautiful park. Brown Hill Creek goes through it. When there is water in the creek in rainy season, a pond will be formed here, so ducks can be seen frequently. It's also a very good BBQ place. Children favorite the wooden horse carriage and the spiral slide in the playground. There are parking lots in the South and north of the park.

What a stunning park tucked away in the streets of Mitcham. I came across it on a stroll in the area and was immediately taken by its size, the landscaping, and the architecture of its children's playground. Perfect for a family picnic or just a space for the kids to play.

Lovely park and playground Suggest the wooden horse is cute but requires some T.L.C maintenance work. Parts of the creek needs a little fencing due to toddlers are attract to walk or run down the steep grass area near the creek

First visit here with the kids and it's gorgeous. Lots of shade, cool areas to explore, plenty of space, different playground areas and the "wizard's tower" is cool. Love the use of natural stone and wood for the play areas.

Ok, just popped in to use the facilities. But WOW best park I've seen and as a photographer I've seen lots. If the path on the southern side of the bridge was in better nick, then it would be perfect.

Love the location and layout of the park with lots of old shady trees. Plenty space to enjoy picnic with family and friends. Kids have few slides and swings to play on. Just need more cleanliness.

  • Sarah Elphick

Love it, kids had a great time. There is a couple of different areas for kids to play. The creek is fun with water in it. Lots of parking and there are toilets. Also at least one barbeque.

  • Janos Veresbaranji

Lawn and old gum trees on both banks of Brownhill Creek, connected by the old road bridge and a new pedestrian bridge. The playground is straight out from children's tales.

  • FinalMidnight

A beautiful park with a wonderful, natural creek. Perfect to kick a footy with the kids, have a birthday party or tie the knot in a well manicured slice of nature.

  • Ian Douglas

Great family park, with open space, shade and picnic tables along with an adventure playground. also great spot to start and finish a walk up brownhill creek.

  • Hiro Yoshida

Beautiful little spot for your little ones to play at the playground and water stream. My son had a blast getting wet and playing in the water …

  • Yawar Saeed

Nice decent place for the neighbourhood. Water lake is dry and no ducks in summer time of the year. Few rides are available for the kids.

  • Andrew Watkins

This is a nice place to visit. It is one of my favorite spots to stop for a lunch break when I have finished doing my deliveries

  • Leanne Geisler

Great park for picnics and family get togethers. Clean public toilets. Fun place for doggies to meet new fur friends.
