Recently switched to visiting the Wallis Cinemas and cafes at the Mitcham Square Shopping Centre. Used to attend the Event Cinemas at Westfield Marion however everything there is automated now and so impersonal and confronting and the cinemas don't appear to be regularly cleaned after each session. Wallis cinemas at Mitcham are a complete contrast with welcoming staff and the cinemas are kept so clean. The local cafes there are fantastic for before and after movie snacks. However management could review/simplify the confusing carpark restrictions there, then a 5/5 !
The shops are great, especially Banana Boys, the Source, Kicco , and Cafe Fifty3, but let down by centre management. The building looks run down, broken stuff everywhere and no security to prevent vandalism which occurs regularly. All the fire extinguishers in the basement level are gone because of a lack of security, which means if there is an electrical fire, everyone is stuffed.
It’s always nice to do a nice review. Customer service here was lovely. I had a return and the staff organised a replacement without any fuss and with smiles on their faces. I know it sounds like all shops should be like this - but unfortunately this level of customer service is a rarity - especially in such a boutique gift shop. Well done. Shop here with confidence.
Small shopping centre with a lot of a shops. There’s a Foodland and a Woolies along with a few coffee shops, clothing stores, a toy store and a newsagent. There’s also a few toilets which are wheelchair accessible. There’s a lot of parking around the outside of the shopping centre along with underground parking that includes an escalator into the centre of the area.
Mitcham Square has everything you want in one shot. After shopping, eating you can go upstairs for a movie. Don’t forget to get out of the Square and step in to Cheap as Chips, KFC, Hungry Jack and some good restaurants around, including Jin Thai Noodle bar, one of our favourites.
Nice shopping centre with good variety of shops. Great eating area in the middle. Toilets were clean. I went there specifically for Fellahamilton Ladies Fashion Boutique. Bit more pricey, but has some lovely clothes not seen in other Ladies Stores.
So, I realise this place is catered for the older demographic, with the clothing and eatery services, but I love the familiarity I feel whenever I enter. From Wallis Cinemas to the my friends at Woolworths Mitcham. Will never stop shopping here!
Good parking, great range of shops Woolworths, Bws, sports store, florist, book store, cafes, my 2 favourite womens clothing stores Mint and Kabuki, homewares stores, shoes, toy store for kids, priceline and a cinema too....perfect.
A great place to visit and do your shopping. I picked up my new glasses, had dinner and went to the theatre. The underground carpark is very convenient. There is a particular store that sells Portuguese tarts and they are amazing.
OK place that could be better. For a start, keep the bicycles out ! Don't just put up more orders. If nobody e forces the rules then you may aswell remove the signs. Sometimes it's like a bicycle parking zone. …
Pleasant atmosphere and everything you would need to shop for is available. Good underground parking and plenty of opportunities in the many eating places for great food and coffee. Best Portuguese tarts in Adelaide.
Great selection of independent and mainstream shopping, plus the Wallis cinema, which is cheaper than the nearby Hoyts or Event options. Foodland makes huge bags of popcorn for $4. Plenty of parking underground too.
A great shopping centre with a good variety of small businesses, such as a toy shop, a wonderful book store, florist and fruit and veg store. I was in a hurry here I wish I’d spent more time checking out the shops.
This is a great shopping complex. Has everything you can want under one roof or a short walk away. Parking undercover is a bonus but do not outstay your welcome because you will be slugged with a fine.
I found going to Mitchum Square shopping Centre has everything that we need ..A great coffee Cafe...Great Barber with Neil and the staff..Big W for food shopping ..also the MOVIES..Great place .
Good parking facilities and reasonable collection of shops. The Wallis cinema is quite good, although it seemed quite warm in there and they could have done with more air conditioning.
Great shopping centre but unfortunately most shops seem to close around 7 pm on a Thursday which was very disappointing as it has a nice, quiet, relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing place for food and women's clothing but not much men's or kids. Cinemas upstairs are worth giving a go with new releases constantly.
A small shopping centre, and although it has a good variety of shops, most tend to shut early on a Friday night (7pm rather than 9pm)
Clean. Have different shops from the big malls. It's the home of Saudade Portuguese tarts. Handy car park... lovely coffee at Kikko.
Good selection of shops and cafes, very popular, free parking, nice cinema, we visit most days as its opposite the Goodlife gym
Disgusting dirty and old toilet facilities, dull and boring mall with not much to offer, hasn't changed in over 20 years.
The variety of retailers and ease of parking are factors which keep me returning to this little gem of a shopping centre.
We went to the Cinema to see Captain Marvel. Had a great time together. Spent some time with beautiful Lady. God Bless.
Great place to shop with a variety of stores to choose from, including a cinema and an excellent coffee store, Kicco
Convenient parking, lifts & escalators easy to access all shops. Movies in same complex. A great place to visit
Great place to come and visit not much options but plenty for a mini shopping centre . Very good in some sense.
Better than standard shopping experience clean and well maintained parking can be tight at busy times
Lots of Shops , good service. Food Stalls, Barber , Foodland, Woolworths, smaller Shops
Nice and clean. Happy to shop. Plenty of parking. Also specsavers is awesome here too
Great shopping centre.Good parking and with cinemas etc has everything you need
Always enjoy this shopping centre for variety and love the Wallis cinemas
6 cafes to choose from Foodland, Woolworths and everything in-between
Convenient, but needs a serious upgrade. More variety of stores, etc
Quick visit to Woolworths only. Got what I needed - helpful staff.
Great variety of shops with plenty of fresh food options.
Love shopping here good parking. Shops are good
