From the moment I walked in and the very first encounter with Adam, I was greeted with enthusiasm and a genuine willingness to help. We filtered through the floor display items until we found what I was looking for. Simple, smooth, effortless. Don't be discouraged by the 'mayhem' in the store, it is not a reflection of their service or professionalism - it's simply old school, minus the retail fluff. Once I decided on the bed I wanted, Maison called me to confirm delivery day and time, and they kept to the schedule and promise completely. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! It is important to note that I had literally been ALL OVER Melbourne looking for a bed, and although some popular stores had some nice pieces, I just did not want to pay the price solely for a brand. Modern Day Living has absolutely gorgeous designs, that are both quality material/structure and affordable. Thanks so much boys!

I went last Friday to modern day living, struggling to furnish my home. I’m not a interior designer so I have problems in matching things together to compliment my home. I meet a guy named Mason and he was extremely helpful. I showed him photos of my home and began putting things together, from lounge room couches to dining room table to coffee table side tables and even bedroom sets. I was so great full and appreciative for his time and help. Instead of me finding one or two items, I ended up furnishing my WHOLE Entire home for an amazing price. The quality is fantastic but the service is much more then I could have asked for. I strongly recommend modern day living to anyone out there looking for quality/reasonable prices and especially best customer service I’ve ever come across.

Worst place I've ever dealt with sold me a marble table that doesn't fit the frame and slides out of frame. Called several times to replace and somehow fix it and was told that once you buy the product it's not our problem anymore... "We've never had this issue before and it must be the usage of the table" Mind you all that was used on the table is a little laptop! I even tried to compensate and return the product or get a different table and was rejected. I was told over and over again that they will send drivers to glue the table down so I waited months and they stopped answering my calls after weeks of trying to rectify. Funny thing is when I called from a different number and they answer straight away? Very poor customer service STAY AWAY!

I bought a lot of furnitures from Modern Day Living ( Marble Dinning table and chairs, coffee table, buffet, Bunkbed, mattress and Tall boy), the prices are definitely lower than the retail prices, the qualities are very good too. Especially we love our marble furniture set, and our recently new arrival bunkbed with side stairs, it is so easy to go up to the top and it made the room look spacious and modern, and mattresses are very comfortable too. They help me to look for the furniture I need by going through the catalogue and customised my need for our bunkbed. They also can do the installations and I am happy with their services.

Scam - product ordered online, it was never delivered. Only after contacting them was I told that it was out of stock. I asked for a refund which they said they would process. It has now been over 12 months I have called them many times and on the odd occasion I get in contact with someone they assure me that my refund is being processed. Never buy from MDL, they have stolen my money and I doubt I will ever get it back. Prove me wrong MDL. order #2900.. process my refund! or call me back. I have already reported you to the ACCC and will continue to follow-up with them until my refund is processed.

I'm very pleased with the marvelous services Mason and his team has provided us. We were given a wrong color tv trolley but Mason was very prompt and proactive on that .. Not only he helped us getting the right color 'black' but also helped us with a very reasonable price. The furniture quality is awesome. We would highly recommend this shop to everyone. If you are looking for quality furniture at the best prices look no more go to MDL and explore. Cheers

The staff here are also very competent and care about providing exactly what you're looking for; one way or another, without giving off the used car salesman vibe. Went to Modern Day Living recently as I shifted houses and needed to update my furniture, the guys on the floor were very helpful and assisted with our every needs. I went in today to purchase a bed suit with mattress, I was served by Adam who not only showed us what was available but went above and beyond asking us questions about our sleeping patterns , the layout of our room and then helping us narrow down our ask based on the requirements. I recently bought my furniture from this warehouse, I ordered about 3 months in advance and advised them a date I was shifting unfortunately they did not deliver on time I waited for my furniture months also most of the items were damaged and delivered the wrong items aswel. I had to chase after them for about 3 months to get everything sorted. I would no recommend this service.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Absolutely NO customer service. I made an online order on 19/05/2022 - never got my product - always got the run-around, could rarely get anyone on the phone and they never ever ever answer emails. Now I'm dealing with not getting a refund! Seriously do not have anything to do with them. They are full of broken promises.

We recently purchased bedroom suits, mattresses and pillows and cannot thank Mason and Adam enough. Nothing was a problem for them, they have been a huge help throughout the whole process, they had great prices and everything was delivered and assembled on time. Worst place I ever entered, not professional and very unfriendly my furniture was not what expected and was very delayed also damaged. I told them to replace some items and they did not care even though they were the ones who deliver most things damage. I would not recommend this store

I honestly dont know why people have bad experiences here. Went in there a few days ago got myself a new lounge suite and tv unit. Got delivered yeaterday. Excellent prices and great staff. Keep up the great work guys. Ps.. got myself a new tv with the money i saved.
