there are small beautiful stalactites that form from water seeping through cracks in the ceiling. they are like knobby translucent fingers. CTA- please stop snapping them off and painting over the cracks. please! allow them to mature. i find them so mesmerizing. all day at work i look forward to going down to the train platform on my way home and checking on their progress. they are slow time.
