We were treated terribly at this office and will not be back. The doctor is rude and inconsiderate and does not care about his patients’ time. I called this office in August because I am looking for a new dentist. They seemed nice and had decent reviews. We don’t have the best insurance plan and the dentist is in the plan so we scheduled our appointments. When I took my son in early October for his appointment we waited for an hour, he spent about 60 seconds with the doctor, and walked out with his school form filled out, no cleaning, no x-rays, and no exam. I explained to the receptionist that I thought he was getting an annual visit and she told me that because he has braces the doctor “can’t do anything. “ I asked her what type of treatment my husband and I would get when we came in and she said we would get our regular annual dental exam with x-rays and everything so I scheduled the appointment for today at 4 PM. we arrived on time and there was no parking, so we had to pay to park on the street. When we walked in there were five people in the waiting room. We waited patiently for about an hour and a half, and at 5:30 they finally called me back. They left my husband in the waiting room and called back the other gentleman who had arrived an hour after us. The doctor talked to me for a minute, took one x-ray, and walked out of the room without saying anything. I waited for about 10 minutes while I listened to him having a conversation (not related to the field of dentistry) with the other gentleman while my husband and I continue to wait. About 5:50, almost 2 hours after our appointment, I finally asked what was going on and was told that he was done! He said he could not do anything and could not clean our teeth because he did not have our records from the old dentist. I explained to him that this was our second attempt to come to their office and that he was going to lose three new patients if he didn’t do the annual exam that we had scheduled. The doctor told me over and over again that it was very simple, and it was OK for me to come back a third time and then once he had the records then he would see us. Not only was he rude and unprofessional, but the office is pretty gross. The chair looks like it is from 1975 and the green vinyl is torn. This office is extremely unprofessional, but due to our terrible experiences I can’t even tell you if he’s a good dentist or not because he doesn’t seem to think that’s part of his job when people come to his office.

I went to montclare dental because my dental insurance said it was the closest in my area that took my insurance. I immediately noticed how unclean the front desk staff looked as well as the equipment surrounding them. The dentist was nice. When I was done with my procedure, I was told I owed a co pay. That’s fine I informed Jasmine at the front desk that I was unaware of a copayment because on my dental insurance card it clearly says $0 copay. Jasmine the front desk clerk got very upset like the co payment was going into her pocket at the end of the night. I asked could I be billed because I read my dental insurance card and it said no copay. Jasmine got very rude and stated that I could not get a work note to return to work because I didn’t pay my copay. I asked to speak to a supervisor numerous times. They stated she comes in on Friday’s and continued say I needed to pay my copay now. I never got nasty or rude with Jasmine or any of the front office staff. I will never go back to that dental office. Jasmine and the rest of the front desk staff are unprofessional they should have it in writing you have to pay your co pay or you can’t get a return to work note. I have never had a service done and been refused a work note because a copayment is due. I wonder if it was because I’m African American and the rest of the pts at the clinic including the staff was of Arabic nationality and Hispanic nationality.

For the last 20 years, there has not been a need for me to go anywhere else for dental care other than Montclare Dental. Doctor Atcha and the friendly staff are excellent. For example, earlier this week I called from work in the morning for urgent dental care, and they were able to remedy the problem same day. Now a few words about a review who, at the time of this writing, precedes mine. Once I am given a patient room in a doctor or dental office, the last thing I expect is for another patient to barge in and dump their problems on me!!! I would consider this a violation of my privacy. Well, such a person showed me the colossal gall to do just that a few days ago. Mrs. Diaz, I was given the unpleasant experience of your uninvited introduction of yourself into my patient's room a few days ago. I can only make the assumption that you have treated Dr. Atcha with the same disrespect that you treated me. Your review wasn't worth the time it took to read, or the space that it wastes. Don't believe it, readers. Keep up the good work, Montclare Dental!!!

Front receptionist were professional and polite but the dentist there was a whole other level of unprofessional. Let me start off with how disgusting and nasty the place is. I don’t even know what the dentist name is because he never introduced himself. I explained to him that 3 professional dentists explain to me that I have a bunch of cavities and will need two root canals. He looks at me as if I was a liar and told me “I don’t know where they came up with that one because you have none” and proceeded to tell me that I have 0 cavities. He does only 1 X-ray exams on my side teeth which were strange, never done a full mouth exam. I waited for over 20 mins for him to return that I finally got up to leave and saw him working in another patients mouth. I should of did my research and checked the reviews. Would of saved me a lot of trouble. Also just saw he posted a review with his profile acting as if he’s a customer when he’s the dentist! Giving himself 5 stars! Unbelievable. Avoid this place.

DO NOT COME HERE! He messed up my fillings and messed up my root canals and charged me for other unnecessary items to “solve the problem” I now have an infection in all the teeth he specifically worked on. He left a piece of his tool stuck in one of my teeth and just closed it off without removing it causing my infection. In total he has charged me $4000+ for everything I got done to fix his mistakes. I tried to file a lawsuit for the but because the procedure were a couple months close to the statute limitations of I could not do anything This dentist is unprofessional and should not be practicing. He will work on 5 other patients at the same time going room to room every 15 minutes. He could not diagnose me for any issues with my teeth. I literally googled everything and had to point him in the direction of what was wrong with my teeth and he still messed it up. I also take care of my teeth so there was nothing wrong with them except for 1 cavity. Go elsewhere!

I am a patient at Montclare Dental. As soon as I walk into the office, I see the two very friendly and ever-smiling front desk receptionists. The office is always clean and organized. Dr. Atcha might not look friendly, but he is a very honest and straight-forward person. He does not try to sell you dental procedures that you don't need in order to make money. This is true because other dentists overcharge for the work they do in their patients' mouths. Fortunately, Dr. Atcha's prices are lower compared to these other dentists. His knowledge on all sorts of work he does is excellent, informing you step-by-step on what he is doing in your mouth. Also, he lets you know what you need to do to keep your mouth in shape after he finishes doing the work. This obviously comes with his long working experience. Finally, the dental tools and equipment are very clean and neatly organized. Overall, I definitely recommend this dental office to others :).

TERRIBLE AND DIRTY!!!! They have non-English speaking dental assistants working there for almost 6 years or more she's still doesn't know one word of English,I don't think she's even legal? Dr. Attcha doesn't ever put a bib or cloth over you to protect your clothing! Everything is dirty and dusty all his tools has water spots and looked like they haven't been cleaned in a months! Then I get 3 fillings done witch I pay cash, and before he does any work, I ask how much it will cost? So there's no surprise's! Low and behold his wife says I owe $30 dollars when I didn't. So 30 days later my filling falls out and they want me to pay them for it! So now I'm filing a civil suite at the daily center its gonna cost me more than the tooth is worth but I'm tired of getting ripped off!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! BEWARE!!!!

I gave Montclare Dental one star only because I had to. Their customer service Is extremely poor. I called several days In a row and not once did they return my call. I was calling for a refund for services that were done poorly and never completed. I was calling on behalf of my 83 your old mother who they were very rude to. The only resource I had was to call the credit card company to dispute the charges of $1650.00. Thank goodness she paid with her Visa card. The next day Visa called and refunded most of the charges! I would highly recommend staying away from this dentist. RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER IS TOTALLY FALSE . As responding in a timely matter why did take you a year to response? 05/11/2019

Warning!! Do not go to this dental office!! First off, Dr Atchas wife does the billing and she is a very sneaky individual!! She is very money hungry and will charge your insurance for services that were never performed. She obviously thinks you will not notice but I always go over everything and what I discovered is sad and unbelievable.Be careful who you deal with because people that are supposed to be trusted are the ones that get away with it!! Poor Dr Atcha probably doesn’t even know what she is doing because he’s too busy working on patients. The truth always comes out and they cannot continue to do this to innocent people. We need to start making a difference in this world!!

Had my wisdom teeth removed for the second time - felt minimum pain afterwards. Didn’t even feel the need to take Motrin/Tylenol. The doctor is efficient, professional and honest. They provided great after care instructions and were open to the idea of reaching them if I had any problems. If you’re looking for a dentist that’s going to get it right the first time- this is the place. Jasmine? is very sweet and accommodating at the front desk. I just wish they were closer to where I live but I’m willing to make the drive

Going to the Dentist is like going to the Doctor, I dont want to hear the bad news, I dont want feel any pain, and I definitely don't want to pay. My experience here was great, Dentist Atcha know what he is talking about and explains what needs to be done, and walks through the experience with you, which I found to be the best thing no dentist has ever done. Dr. Atcha is not only an extraordinary dentist he is an overall wonderful, good hearted person. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and is always so patient. I live over an hour away and still travel to have all my work done by him and wouldn't have it any other way. I've been going go him for over 17 years and he always does his best and takes his time. Montclair dental is fabulous I went there and explained how scared I was to have an eye tooth removed and several bottom teeth that were falling apart the staff and dentist made me feel confident to get this done and I'm extremely happy I did because not only was it quickly done like all 7 teeth in less than 15 minutes I now am getting my dentures thank you Montclair dental for your help and superior friendliness you guys rock

I am extremely grateful I found this place. Over the years, I've found dentists in general overcharging, insensitive, impatient, and/or don't provide the necessary attention. Dr. Atcha is a true professional who is fair in price, genuine, provides sufficient information before all procedures and gives ample tips to maintain a healthy smile and good teeth. I'm someone that is Absolutely terrified of the dentist. Dr. Atcha is the Only dentist I go too. My family has been going to him for almost 20 years. I've always had bad experiences when going to the dentist but since I switched over it's been the best thing. I've been going to Montclare Dental for about 7-8 years, I've gotten my braces, fillings, and wisdom teeth removed with them. They have amazing receptionists and Dr. Atcha is careful when doing procedures.

Garbage place didn't care to do my routine clean up was just in hurry to get me in and out the door I had to ask the doc to check me further .... Spent more time in the waiting area then I did on the chair and it was my first time there and will be my last highly don't recommend ....

I have been coming here for 15 years and there is a reason for it. First the service is great had my insurance information and everything. She did the leg work for me. Then the deep cleaning and a molar extraction and I was on my way. Thanks for doing a great job.

There is sometimes a wait, but that’s because Dr. Atcha treats you as if you are his only patient! I have been coming to this office for about 2 years. The staff has been nothing but professional, I have not yet left unsatisfied.

Horrible...had my dentures donebthere, they over charged me and and did a bad job! They won't fit and they hurt dr attcha wanted me to pay again! Plus the place us filthy!...dust dirt and grim all overcthe tools! Dont go their!

I have been trying to get ahold of somesone for a year to add this dental group to my insurance. No one answers the phone and no one returns calls. The worst service I have dealt with.
