WARNING – BEWARE – STAY AWAY!!! We’d found a car that looked in great condition from the pictures posted on their website. Therefore, we called ahead, asked some questions before going to go see the car because the dealer was an hour away. Once arriving, we spoke with Alan who informed us that the vehicle was at his mechanics doing some last finishing touches and invited us to go see it there. Once there we spoke with the mechanic and inspected the car which seemed like it was in good shape. After signing papers, Alan gave us a valet key for the vehicle, which apparently was the only key they had for the car. He never mentioned anything before then about this and when asked if he could provide a discount for this inconvenience, he said that he was already selling the car to us at too low of a price (which we came to find out later was completely false). Conveniently, after his 14-day warranty had expired (You pay 50% / He pays 50% of any issues that arise) a little under a month the car started having problems with the clutch. When putting the car in reverse, the car would jolt back and forth until the car would become unresponsive and required to be shut off and restarted in order to have the gears work again. We told Alan about this and told us to bring it back so that his mechanic could check it. They had the car for a whole week!!! and didn’t us provide us with some other means of transportation during that time which my son depends on to get to school. Alan called and told us that his mechanic had found no issues but would have to give the car to another mechanic that specialized in transmissions. Another month had passed until we were able to make time to bring the vehicle back and have his “other” mechanic inspect the car. Once again, they had the car for a whole week!!! and were unable to find anything until the day of going to pick up the car did Alan tell us that he drove the car and finally saw the problem we’d been referring to for the past month! Both instances they hadn’t even taken the decency to wash or at least rinse the car as it was completely dirty from having just been parked outside for so many days. Later that day we washed the car ourselves and found underneath the car matt of the backseat on the passenger side was soaked, as if someone had spilled something and just left it there. We called Alan about this and he offered us to bring it back and would have the car detailed for us. Why on earth would we do that after dealing with such a dishonest person!?! In Summary: I ended up having the car diagnosed at a dealership and was informed that the whole Clutch system had to be replaced and would cost more than $2,000!!! If I didn’t so soon, I would have to replace the transmission which costs anywhere from $4,000 - $5,000!!! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY IF YOU DON’T WANT TO PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET $1,000’S TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. ALTHOUGH THEIR CARS MIGHT LOOK NICE ON THE OUTSIDE, IT’LL BE SURE TO HAVE PROBLEMS ON THE INSIDE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST DEALERSHIP!!!

I had the pleasure of buying a luxury car from Alan a few years back. I felt compelled to write this review to reinforce some of the positive feedback written on here and also to refute some of the negative claims that this merchant is racist. I am an African American young lady who made a purchase out of state for a Bentley Continental coupe. They helped me in securing financing every step of the way, or course with the help of my credit history. I had my reservations buying a car long distance for the first time, especially since I was in North Carolina and the car was in California. Using my due diligence, I had them send the car to Bentley Beverly Hills to get a full pre purchase inspection (which I paid for out of good faith). The car was in great condition with just one minor issue. They did the right thing and got that resolved prior to shipping the car. My Bentley arrived as pictured in impeccable condition, especially for the year that it was. Monza Car is a straight forth, no nonsense luxury used car entity that will help those who help themselves. What I mean by no nonsense is that if you show up with a credit score of 590 trying to drive off in a Maserati, there's probably not much they will be able to do to help you. If you're honest and forthright with reasonable expectations, they will go above and beyond. I made my purchase back in 2013 and my vehicle is still thriving to this day. I am in the market for a newer model and I literally have buyers lined up to buy the very same car that Alan sold me 6 years ago. I am so glad that I decided to call Alan back to assist me in my upcoming purchase as well. I highly recommend Monza Cars.

I brought my car to discuss selling it on consignment. The owner was busy so he had me see another person. The other person gave me a price for what he thought I could get for it. I was happy with the price and said I would be back in 2 weeks to hand over the car. I went back and the owner asks me about the car and asks if I got a price for it. I told him I had, and then his people go out to look at the car. He comes back to me and says "we have no interest in the car" and that I should go to CarMax. I told him I was leaving the country the next day and the only reason I came to them is that they said they would try and sell the car on consignment which would result in me getting a better price. He said I was making it all up and only he gives prices and he never gave me a price. I left pretty dejected (and since I had no time to look at other options, I took the CarMax offer that was $2500 less than what KBB said the car was worth). Afterwards I realized the owner lied to me - why did he ask me if I got a price if only he gives prices...? In short the guy is totally unreliable. I would not go near them.

I have always held a great amount of skepticism while interacting with car dealers, and it was no different when I first met Mr. Sunny Trurjman of Monza Car. I used to walk by his shop on Ventura Blvd and I was somewhat impressed with the exotic models available on his lot. When it came time to sell my 2006 Honda Civic, I visited his establishment to check on what he had to say, and I was equally impressed with his attitude as I had been with the autos displayed. To make a long story short, he took my car on consignment, and it was not long before he had it sold for the price we had agreed upon. He is not there to do anyone any favors, and he will try to talk you down on your price, but I find that this is what he has to do to stay thriving in a cut-throat business such as car sales. However, he is able to do so in a classy and reasonable manner and he will hear your side of the story like I had never seen before. I highly recommend his store…

I have several classic cars in my collection. Iv'e talked to Danny few month before buying a car there . He was knowledgeable enough to answer my questions about few vehicles he had on inventory . The first impression was very important to me since he doesn't really know me he was very open about his cars and condition. The 1965 Pontiac GTO i have purchased won the most original car in a local car show in the bay area, and got attention from several Pontiac owners . that told me a lot about the car. I was in the car business for 11 years and i know how stressful and hard it could be selling on the internet when every one have a different opinion. I was happy with the service and the merchandise Monza Car provided . It was a pleasure doing business from 500 miles away without seen the car in person.

We Sold our car last week. If anyone wants to sell a car, look no further: Danny is the best!!! My car had a hit and run accident and we wanted to sell it without fixing it. Obviously we wanted more money than Carmax and other place offered. After reading all these great reviews on Monza Car, We contacted them and he came to our place and completed transaction so quickly. Yes, we received more money than any other offers as well. This gentleman is not only professional but also very friendly and just know how to talk to tuff customers like my dad. Amazing experience selling our car and couldn’t have been better.

I was a bit skeptical at first provided the previous reviews. The Bentley review put things in perspective and made me feel a little more comfortable. But upon walking in and meeting Alan truly left with a friend. I appreciated Alan because he didn’t care if he sold the car or not. He was straightforward, very informative, and even provided education on the entire process. There’s rarely a perfect used car, but the goal is to find something that’s perfect for your needs. Alan provided us this with no hassle or pressure. Extremely pleased with this transaction.

Reputable car dealer. No misleading statements or actions. I bought a used Jag XKRS. The car had been detailed nicely. The sales person (Sammi) was pleasant to deal with. They were knowledgeable (with the caveat that it is a rare car and few would have in depth knowledge). The negotiations with Alan were pleasant, honest and forthright. The paperwork was done efficiently and correctly. I'm leery of most used car dealers, but Monza Car is an exception. I recommend them.

Drove up from Orange County on Saturday morning after seeing a beautiful low mileage 2014 Audi A4 on the website. Car was like new, as described by Alan over the phone. No surprises in pricing, and no pressure to up-sell options. Alan was able to arrange competitive financing. Car was freshly washed/detailed, and all paperwork was ready for me when I arrived. It was a pleasure doing business with Alan and Monza Car. I will buy from them in the future.

If I could , I wouldn’t even put a star! These are cheats and crooks. They screw clients over - driving cars under false registrations, lose keys or intentionally withholding,. The owner is horribly dishonest- he took my Corvette with only 1800 hundred miles on it, when I got my car back it had 1400 hundred miles and required Immidiate oil change and service. Seems like they rent the cars out to squeeze an extra buck.

Wow! I am super impressed with this dealership. I bought a 2011 Mercedes E350. I came in and looked at the car, and after that it was very easy to get in and out. Allen was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am very impressed that I received a thank you letter, no one sends these anymore! I will definitely be buying another car from Monza car. Great experience. Monza Car is such a cool little dealership with some great finds. My bimmer had an unforseen mechanical problem with the convertible top and Alan/Monza and their independent mechanic went above and beyond the day after Christmas to correct it, even though I had driven off the lot. I would/will absolutely buy from Monza again!

Please be aware of this dealer. I bought vehicle in 2017, clean no accident car. Now trying to sell my vehicle and one of the dealers tells me it had an accident in 2016. I'm not going to contest either, leaving this in hope it helps someone not make same mistake trusting his Carfax report.
