This five star review pertains solely to the 3 man crew that was sent to move my family of 5 a few days ago. Will, Eddy and Trevor (quote # 101525) wowed us at every turn. First time for us ever using a professional moving company, and despite every single thing going sideways on this particular Friday, these 3 gentlemen worked 6.75 hours straight with sheer confidence, determination and professionalism. Not for one second did I worry about my belongings being lost or damaged; I could tell they had a level of care and honesty that was genuine from the start (where can customers or employers find even one of this quality of employee today, let alone three?!?) They were friendly from the moment they arrived to load at 1:30 pm until 8:15 pm when they had everything carefully in our new home. Never once did they show any signs of exhaustion or irritation even though the job was double what they had been told to expect. Somehow, these gentlemen also managed to continue joking with one another, and seemed to literally be having a good time of it! They had a true ‘Three Amigo’ rapport with one another; something that kept spirits light during a time of such stressfulness. They showed up a set of strangers and left us feeling as though they had been long time friends. On the business side of things, I wouldn’t dish out a 5 star review. Honestly, and in hindsight, someone should have came to assess the quantity of items being moved as well as the terrain in which employees would be working. Quoting this over the phone proved a recipe for disaster as we were told a 2 to 3 hour job was what to expect. Will, Eddy and Trevor warned us immediately upon looking over the work ahead that a time frame and final amount billed would be double our quote if not more. This is something I plan to call to the Moovers office staff about Monday morning. It was, in my opinion, a very unpleasant shock that could’ve been avoided on all sides of the transaction if an hour of time had been used to assess before a quote of such type was relayed to any and all parties involved. Thank goodness we lucked out on the crew that showed up at our doorstep. They unknowingly saved their management team at Moovers a phone call that would have been much more unsavory than it will be. Bottom line: As long as someone there can supply you a realistic time and transaction quote, given after an in person eyeballing of your particular situation, I think it’s safe to give this company a try. Just make sure to schedule your move on a day that the ‘Three Amigos’ aren’t already booked full and everything will end up fine.

I shopped around for weeks getting quotes from all of the movers in the area. I found Moovers and was given the most affordable quote. I checked reviews because I was worried that the better price would mean poor quality of service. I was pleased to find all of the positive reviews. I had to call in multiple times due to the ongoing changes to our plans. Every time I called in, the ladies were super friendly and very helpful. We had the movers out to our house yesterday to pick up our stuff and take it to their on-site storage facility. We had Hakeem (The Judge) and his crew. They were amazing! They were very professional and gave us any necessary updates along the way. They were super friendly and had a great sense of humor. They made the move fun! They were extremely careful with our items and treated them as if they were their own. They took off necessary doors in order to get our giant fridge out as well as our dryer. They replaced the doors when finished. They also moved quickly and carefully to make the most of our time. I would recommend Moovers to everyone and will be requesting Hakeem and his crew for our move out of their storage facility into our new home. Overall, we had a very positive experience with this company.

the owner, Mike, is slow to respond via text so you have no idea where you stand or whether you have an appointment or not. Then, if you call into the office and SCHEDULE AVAILABLE TIME, the next day, the office will call and tell you that the owner, Mike, indicated that they can only come the day that was stated in the text message. The one they never confirmed or took a down payment for, and the date you booked the day previous, with the office and paid a down payment for, now is not available. It would appear we dodged a bullet with the lack of accountability, however, leaving us no time to find an alternative. Some very shady business practices. Not sure if I will get my deposit back, at this point, either. Hire at your own risk. Your response indicates false information. You heard from Bryan who you initially spoke with to schedule the quote, because you were non responsive to my texts, which I had sent to him in full, to which he reached out to your office. We had no way in knowing what date was confirmed, because you had not responded nor called, nor emailed to firm up the dates. No deposit was giving for any date but the date Bryan confirmed, when he called. You know what is the truth, just as I do.

This company sent 3 men to my house who didn't even know each other's names and had never worked together. They took a break to smoke weed by driveway within 45 minutes of showing up. They left half my things behind. They broke and scratched my brand new bedroom dressers. The office had the nerve to charge my credit card after I stopped payment on their check for more $$$ than the check. They've not yet, as of today 9-20-2023, sent me any insurance department claims forms which Julie and Angela (in their Kansas City office) said they would email me on August 8, 2023. They haven't returned phone calls. I would not recommend this company to move anything! The photos show things that were moved sofa but cushions left behind, table leaf same thing, it was left behind. Broken stained glass antique lanterns... New dresser with broken handles and scratched. All of these plus many more photos were sent to this company BEFORE the moving day ended even though I was fresh out of heart procedure at Mayo Clinic. Again the Moovers company was told I was I'll and needed professionals...

I’m very disappointed with movers .. they broke my leg on my Grandfather clock .. they didn’t give me back my remote to my recliner sectional now my recliner don’t recline without the box. They broke the tops on 2- of my electric fireplaces .. they took money $213.76 out my account without my permission . They were 41/2 hours late .. they went over 1- hour if they would have been on time they would not have been over my bill was )840.00 they charged me $1276 I gave them $1076.00 no receipt call manger he said he will send receipt and a claim form for my damages been 3- weeks haven’t received it yet..I’ve been calling everyday no return call I ask for corporates phone number won’t give that to me I’m telling everyone how horrible they are they didn’t even take the plastic they wrapped it in off .. that’s why they rushed to get out of my house plus I gaveall 3- of the movers a individual tip I will tell everyone don’t use movers the will rip you off and take your money if corporate doesn’t call me I’m going to have to take them to court they should be ashamed of themselves…

I recommend you find another moving company. Scheduled me first thing on a Saturday, which was what I wanted then 1 day before the move they had to push it back to a later arrival time, because another customer didn't get there property keys on Friday, seems like a her problem that became a me problem. The agent said the team would be there by 11am they were not there at my promised arrival time. 2 guys in my team of 3 quit during the move and they did not have any replacement workers. Ruined my groceries that they took out of a fridge that was NOT to be moved as it was my landlords fridge. They then loaded that fridge on the truck to move to my new property, realized they brought a fridge that didn't belong to me the one driver, who hadn't quit, said he would take it back to the old property. He did not! I had to call on Monday and they found the fridge on the moving truck, left there over the weekend. I was promised 3 guys for the move and ended up with 1 yet they still charged me the same amount. I've been waiting since October for claim reimbursement.

So we just did a move from Belton to North KC. We had a team of Robert, Anthony, and Michael and I will be using MOOVERS again simply because of them. They made the move process so easy and well done. They were on time, professional, fast, knowledgeable, and careful. You can tell Robert and Anthony have been doing this and know what they are doing. Michael was great as well but did not deal with him as much. They moved everything very fast and they were really careful. I dont know much about the structure of a company like this but the owner should make sure they take care of this team. It is people/workers like Robert, Anthony, and Michael that make lasting impressions on their customers. I will be contacting MOOVERS again if needed and will let everyone know to go to them for KC moving services. And on top of the fantastic service the price was very competitive and accurate! I know a lot of moving companies have their workers go slower when they are on an hourly job (happened to us before) but MOOVERS did not.

1800Moovers did an outstanding job moving my friend from a house to an apartment. The movers were attentive, efficient, professional and very strong. They did everything they were asked without hesitation and finished more quickly than anticipated. Everything made it to the new place and was put exactly where we asked them to place it. Frankly, I don't see how they do it every day lifting heavy furniture while keeping a good attitude. I want to give special thanks to Ms. Angela Brewer for her excellent customer service in assisting us with this move. My friend was extremely nervous that the movers would cancel at the last minute and Angela worked hard to allay all his fears. She called him the Saturday before the Monday move and assured him they would show up on time and that they would most assuredly show up. His nerves were settled. The move went off without a hitch. I am planning a move in the next 12 months and will contact Angela Brewer and 1800Moovers to move me. They are awesome!

I had the best experience with this company! I have moved with movers each time I’ve found a new living space since I’ve been in KC and each time and thrilled with the service and the price and the actual movers! I moved across town and had to have my home items stored for a week! Julie on the phones was more than helpful getting me a quote and helping to facilitate the whole transition taking off SO much stress from my plate. Daniel and Joshua (!!!!) were the muscle men movers! They were wonderful and helpful and efficient and very friendly! I was very lucky in having their help for the load out and the load in. My stuff was in the best of hands! If you get the chance ask for this crew specifically!! you won’t be disappointed! Thank you movers from the bottom of my ♥️ for helping my move go smoothly!!

I'm at the age where I can't bribe my friends to move all my stuff with pizza, so professional movers is the way to go! We hired a different company several years ago. They were more money than what we wanted to pay, but we have some nice furniture that we wanted extra care with. It ended up getting badly beaten up by their equipment and they took 0 responsibility for it. Moovers was far better quality for half of the cost. Our team was made up of Will, Johnny, and Eddie. They were all super professional, friendly, and took good care of all our belongings. The furniture that was beaten up by the last company, they carried by hand. We were so amazed and grateful because they are extremely heavy pieces! I hope we don't move again for a while, but whenever we do, we will happily use Moovers again.

My wife and I have lived in the same house for over 21 years and were dreaded moving like a beating. No-one can make it a pleasant experience but everyone I have dealt with at Movers has made this less painful than it might have been. Julie and anyone else I may have spoken to on the phone has been very understanding, pleasant and helpful. But the final impression is always left by the folks that do the heavy lifting. I don't know if all of your people are as high quality as the men who moved us but I can say for sure that Hawk, Josh and Mik were outstanding. They were quick and careful and good company to boot. Our move went absolutely amazing yesterday. Derron, Ike and Michael were so wonderful and took such good care of not only all the items they moved but made sure to not damage either of our houses. They wrapped our furniture, put our bed together and really just made sure we had everything in every room we needed. We’ve used Moovers twice in the past and we are so happy we made the decision again. I really can’t say enough good things about our experience. Even the reception staff was kind, courteous and helpful. We had some scheduling issues and Julie was AMAZING. She has such a great way with organizing things and we were grateful to have someone as knowledgeable as her helping us. We will definitely continue to use Moovers and recommend them to others in the future.

This company is absolutely ridiculous when their workers miss up. The week prior to our move we had the home completely repainted. After the move we found multiple corners were damaged. The door in our master bedroom was damaged. The movers didn't notify us of the damage, we found it as we were unpacking. Highly unprofessional. I called due to the claim needing a weight for each item damaged. Was told to put 0 since it was a wall/unmeasureable. I followed those instructions and was given a $75 check for the damages due to not putting a weight of damage. And the have yet to call us back after the complaint was filed for the amount paid to us for the damage being to low or their staff being unprofessional in this manner.

Our moving day was supposed to start at 7-8 AM. We coordinated a babysitter for our toddler so we could move to the new house in the morning. After a delay of 7 hours, our movers finally showed up. They were exhausted and not as helpful as we had hoped. I was 6 months pregnant and had to disassemble furniture myself that they refused to move. I spoke with two customer service reps who were kind, but have not called me back regarding being reimbursed for our trouble. We paid full price and were very disappointed In our experience. Had to pay our babysitter for extra time (at least an extra $100). Management has yet to contact us after multiple attempts to resolve this issue. I do not recommend.

We had the great pleasure of doing our move with Moovers of KC North, from a rental house in Olathe to our new dream home south of Louisburg. Hakeem, Nick, Rob, Art and Phillip showed up promptly and got right to work. They were very courteous, professional and dedicated throughout the day. Arriving at the new home, they staged everything before asking what room we wanted it in and in what location. We had a special request to assemble a new king-sized bed and a large walnut dining room table, both out of the box. They handled both efficiently, cleaned up the empty boxes and packing material and took them to the garage. We would highly recommend this crew especially and Moovers as a company.

Had a wonderful experience with Moovers! Starting with Mike - who came out and reviewed my complex moves and made great suggestions on how to make things easier - to my moving team of BJ, Hawk, Josh, Eddie and David - who came in and quickly and carefully loaded up most of my house and then delivered it to FOUR different locations - the move went great. I'm actually looking forward to part 2 of my move, which is happening next week! The moving team even beat the time estimate by 15 minutes and all were polite, smiling and fun to be around. Their great attitudes and non-stop work ethic ensured that the day went smoothly and was a good experience overall. Thanks so much to all of you!

WOW!! You won't go wrong choosing this amazing team and company!!! Julie helped with setting up the initial contacts, Peter came to the house to do a visual (twice actually to put my mind at ease), Mike worked out all the kinks and Pat, Rob and Levi did all the heavy lifting!! I couldn't possible be happier choosing them to move our life's valuables!! Everyone was courteous, careful and well skilled at their responsibilities! I checked out 4 companies total and they were by far the best value and Mike even helped us save even more money with his suggestions. One thing Mike said to me that sealed the deal was "ma'am, we're movers, not sliders". I highly recommend this company!!

I had a 5 Star experience from initial bid meeting to the last item placed in my new home. Derron led the team on moving day arriving promptly and professional. The crew including Derron, Mike, Julian, and Quincy walked the house as we surveyed the job. They were all 4 very enthusiastic, very polite, and willing to accommodate. Their disposition really demonstrated they knew their job and really enjoyed it. They had their work cut out for them with a baby grand piano, 12 foot sideboard buffet, and a very heavy pine armoire and stairs were involved. I’d use this group again, and specifically this crew. Updating my review after another successful move with Moovers. As in the past, they made the process very easy and their pricing was upfront and competitive. This time I also used their packing services for the first time, and was very happy I did - they were really efficient in getting my place packed up and not a single thing was damaged or broken. Move day went equally smoothly. The movers, Derron, Phil, and Mike did an awesome job, worked quickly but carefully, and were just really nice guys too. This is my 3rd time using Moovers, and while I hope this time I won't be moving again for awhile, I will definitely be calling them again when I do!

I had planned to do a move myself, but when weather started looking questionable, I pushed up my date and called Moovers. I had used them years ago, and found they are still incredible. Prices are reasonable, and they work with you on everything to take the stress out of move day. Julie in the office is outstanding, and followed up on everything. My moving crew Derron, Ike and Anthony were the best (I hope I got all the names right). These guys were FAST, but careful and VERY polite. They always asked for my input on where to place items and were extremely helpful in moving anything. I would highly recommend this crew and the company Moovers!

Guys were nice but I had to help. disassembling furniture took a LONG time. Had to lend my own tools. Had to personally take doors off of refrigerator to get it through a door since other methods didn't work. Van wasn't efficiently packed so there were several items that had to be left behind. hardware for my bed they took apart was still at old residence (meaning it wasn't properly re assembled). Paid an hourly rate and guess we paid for their lunch break in there. At the 6 hour mark my wife and I started helping run things out of the van ourselves and into the house to speed up the process. welcome to leave more feedback directly

Another amazing experience with the team at Moovers! From start to finish with the estimating, the scheduling, the packing and then the move - it was all top notch service. Mike & Angela were great at answering all my questions. Scotty was the quickest packer I've seen and got everything ready to go and the moving team (Derron, Mike, Julian, Eddy) was incredible. They arrived right on time, were friendly and communicative, and worked so efficiently. They are definitely the team you would want for a move! I can't recommend Moovers enough - whether it's for residential or commercial move - you can't go wrong!

Our excellent impression of this company originated with Julie, who was so knowledgeable and considerate of our moving parameters. She was able to lock us into a date that would work ... and then cheerfully changed the date when it was necessary to do so. Enter Hakeem and Mike D., Moovers who made the entire process as painless as possible. They were on time at the original location and quickly disassembled the items for the move. Ok I have been a bit tardy in this review, however even after two months I am still impressed with the crew of Will, Eddie, and Johnny. Professional, fast, and efficient, this crew was amazing! I have experienced other movers in town and this crew was the best! Wrapping everything with care but not wasting a single minute. They delivered right on the contracted time with no hidden surprises. Customer service was amazing too in setting up the appointment. All my future moves will be requested for this crew and Moovers!

My son and daughter in law hired the Moovers to move them into storage until their new construction is ready. My wife and I were there as Hawk, Mick and Josh with Moovers came and loaded everything from their home. These guys set the bar high. It was my first time hiring a professional moving team and they made the process easy. I've known the owner of Moovers for over 15 years and this was my first experience using Moovers. Everything they promised was completed over and above what I could have ever asked for. I have utilized many moving companies in my life and this has been the best experience I have ever had. Hakeem and Josh were excellent. They were polite, respectful to me, my belongings and worked extremely hard in 102 degree weather with no complaints. Thank you so much for easing my fears that my storage unit wasn't big enough. From the beginning of the experience it started on the right foot. Julie was very friendly and always very responsive to any questions I had and did not push for a decision right away and gave us time. On the day of the move Rob, Johnny and Anthony were very professional and relieved any stress we had. They moved quickly and at all time insured nothing was damaged. We have used Moovers for several moves in the last 10 yr. They are the very best!! So easy to work with and their movers are VERY hard workers that take very good care of your belongings and walls/doors. The moves are charged in 15 min increments and I have never felt like the team wasted even a minute. We had some pretty challenging stairs in our last move and they made every piece work…and I was certain things wouldn’t fit. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could! The mover BJ is very talented!

Moovers is the greatest! We had an extremely complicated move and they helped us manage ever element of this move prior to our multiple moving days. There packers were very well organized and not one item was broken. Mike, Ike, and Derron were unbelievable on moving day and beat the time estimate given to us. Just like the packers not one item was damaged on the truck. I would highly recommend Moovers on your next move and they saved us money compared to our other estimates.

Hakeem, Josh and Mick did a fantastic job. At no fault of their own there was a scheduling conflict and they arrived later than I expected. From the minute this crew arrived till the moment they left there were nothing but professional, respectful and took great care of our belongings. Last Wednesday BJ and his crew helped me move the furniture that was too heavy for me to manage myself. They were so fast and everything was planned out ahead of time. We had multiple stops for pick up and then the dreaded stairs at the drop off. They were cheerful and when I got the bill it was more than $100 less than I expected! Since they charge for their time - they know that and they take care of business. I had a great experience with them.

Had a great experience with Moovers! I contacted several companies for estimates and their quote was well below others I received. They were easy to communicate with and Julie was very responsive and helpful in getting the move set up. The movers, Dustin and Austin, were very quick, friendly, and professional. They got everything loaded and unloaded in a very short amount of time, which I really appreciated. Would definitely hire them again!

KC North Moovers crew Robert and Anthony were fantastic! We have a large antique China cabinet to be moved to another room in our home during a construction project. Julie was very responsive when I requested a quote for what the cost would be and was helpful in securing a date that worked for me. BJ & Quincey were very timely and efficient; and we had no issues with any items being damaged. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

Excellent choice for mooving! From setup (thank you, Julie), to the actual move experience (thank you DJ and Dalen), everything went as planned. I have never been able to say that about a moving company, and my expectations were exceeded. DJ and Dalen took great care with my belongings, and were very personable and they somehow made moving fun! 11/10 I would choose Moovers again, and highly recommend them!

This was our first time using a moving company and definitely happy with our decision to use the Moovers! They showed up and got to work! If you are on the fence about the cost, it is definitely worth the money!! The only thing I would recommend to do is give each mover their gratuity separately. I just felt bad for not ensuring that they got what we left them and to know we appreciated their hard work!

This is my second time using Moovers and they were great! Hakeem and Rob A. helped us moved on the coldest day of the year. It was subzero temperatures and they showed up with a great attitude and worked extremely hard. We had a great move!! We haven’t lived in our home since 1994 and had a lot of stuff and a lot of boxes!! Halkeem, Mike and Matt worked great with us and each other making our move with them so easy. Moovers was recommended by a friend and I was absolutely happy with them. Michael showed up on time to give me an esitmate which was spot on. He gave me good tips for packing my stuff. Hakeem, Johnny P., and Quincy were so helpful. We only had large items to move, many of them antiques, and they treated them with the utmost care. These days, having a company that shows up at the time they say they will are rare, but Moovers came through. At our age, we won't be moving again, but in case those plans don't work out, we'll be using Moovers again.

Moovers had the most affordable quote with the most flexible terms of all 4 companies I had quote my move from Gladstone MO to Lawrence KS. My movers were Rob and BJ and they did a phenomenal job, were very fast and very careful with my stuff including a couch that by my estimation was never going to make it into my new home -- but they got it in! 10/10 A+++

Rob, BJ and Anthony did a fantastic job. For me, being on time is a BIG deal! They were on time with a 30 minute notification that they were in transit. The guys were very courteous and willing to do what we asked. Not to mention, zero belongings were damaged nor the apartment. This is the second time I have used them.

Good service, but very expensive. $925 (before tipping a 3-man crew) to move a 1 BR + 1 den + 1 car garage apartment (12 mile move). $205/hr + $225 truck fee + taxes/fees. I already had everything boxed, taped and moved from the 2nd floor to the garage (other than a few large items). Again, cost is my only complaint.

Rob, Anthony and Javion helped us with our move and they were not only very professional but moved our whole house in 3 hours! We used moovers to move furniture before doing a home renovation project. The scheduler was easy to work with, responsive, and helpful. I was told that my furniture would be wrapped/covered. My dressers were wrapped with plastic but not any other furniture. My white couch arrived dirty. I have also called because a wheel was missing from an old sentimental toy box and have not heard back. I did give 2 stars for the guys being friendly.
