Morden Library is within The Civic Centre, where you can also access the Housing and Social Services Depts. The nearest Tube station is Morden,on the Northern Line ,and is served by a number of buses . The Civic Centre doors open at 9am Monday To Friday..and 930 Am on Saturday. The Library is open from 930am to 7,pm Monday To Friday and 930am to 5pm on Saturdays. There are public toilets within the Civic Centre, which includes a Disability Access toilet with power assisted doors. There are public toilets within the Library on Level 1, with an accessible cubicle. There is a Quiet Study Area on Level 2 ,which also houses the Heritage Studies Area. You can also charge your devices such as mobile phones and lap top computers. There is only one person per table,so space is limited. There are Accessible Lifts between the floors as well as the stairs. There is a small cafe within the Civic Centre, but it has limited opening hours. However there are ample cafes, coffee houses and restaurants very close to The Centre. The Library is a Designated Warm Space.
Within the Library is the Morden Library of Things, containing household appliances that you can borrow which you wouldn't necessarily need to buy for everyday use, e.g. hedge trimmer, pressure washer, etc. The cost of borrowing is very reasonable, and there's a discount when the item is being borrowed for 7 days - perhaps borrow the item with your neighbour and split the cost. I will certainly be going back, as this is cost effective and environmentally friendly.
Friendly, helpful staff on hand and all over the library. They are keeping everything hygienic and working very hard. There's a wonderful selection of books, nicely organised and a large children's section. There are plenty of computers, a good internet connection, good WiFi and plenty of sockets for laptops. On the second floor there is a quiet study area with some interesting history info dotted around. One of the best Greater London libraries I've been to.
Today the experience was awful. I was trying to read with my kids and the other children in the children's library area were running, screaming, jumping from a soft slide while their mothers were just chatting amongst them. To play, there is the playground or a park. We need more respect in the libraries. A member of the staff tried to intervene but no luck. I came home frustrated.

Worryingly, 1st floor was unstaffed between 4.15 + 6 so the only way to get assistance when using a PC would have been to go to the Ground or 2nd floor. Far too inconvenient and time consuming, so I shall endeavour to avoid Morden and use appropriately staffed libraries in neighbouring boroughs.
I'm a big fan of this library. The staff is knowledgeable and will always help you in finding what you are looking for. They have a great collection of rare history books that you definitely won't find anywhere else. I really like the atmosphere here!
In this library staff including security all of them are friendly and polite. Toilets are always clean and available at any time(in the opening hours). Books mostly available or we can reserve it quickly. Overall there are all services great.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant. There is a dedicated children's area where the youngest children can read a book with their parents or play.
Massive library but often difficult to find staff. Thankfully seems like they've got rid of an extremely rude member of staff (Sharon). Otherwise all good.
Review is purely based on opening times not reflecting the requirement of users of the Amazon locker within. The library always appears clean and tidy
Great little library in Morden. Kids toilets available at the back. The kids area includes a small play area, with books laid out by reader age.
Really Friendy staff and very nice atmosphere. Anyone can come in and do their studies, reading or use computers without any issue.
some of the computers are very dirty, same problem with sutton library unfortunately there is a lot of eating in the computer area
Lovely people, so helpful. Heritage and local studies is well worth a visit, with an extra attraction - a nice quiet study area.
Nice library with separate wonderful children section. Plenty of books available for reading and borrowing.
Nice little library in two floors with friendly staff. Good collection of books. Wish there could be more.
