Bought a Nissan Pulsar from them earlier this year, just before moving to North Central Victoria. Car had a scratch about 3 cm long all the way through the paint above one of the rear parking sensors, they had carelessly installed. We pointed it out to the car salesman, who said it wouldn't be a problem and that it would be fixed on the 1000km service. Book the 1000 km service in the Friday before we go informing them that we are moving, only to find that the car salesman hadn't informed them, the car service manager knew nothing about it, but said he would look into it. Drop the car off to be serviced at 1000 km, says yep spoken to the salesman but that they wouldn't be able to do it today as paint issues need 3 days to be sorted out. I point out that no one had mentioned that before hand and that they knew we were leaving but effectively didn't care. Saying it would need to be booked in to be done. Obviously that was of no use to us, we tried to organize with them to get a local panel beater to fix it, but refused to saying they couldn't guarantee the workmanship. We even offered to organize quotes but they weren't interested. They were also not interested in providing a loan car around my work schedule, saying that head office wouldn't allow a loan car to be loaned for more then 3 days. When I bought it up with the salesman his attitude was nothing short of arrogant, it's a service issue now and that I was to deal with them. The end result in order to get the scratch fixed we ended up doing a 700km round trip, the trip down on zero sleep. They did waive the loan car fees for the 3 days, but that's all they did right. We had nearly 4 weeks between purchasing the car and leaving the peninsula and had plenty of time to get it fixed without an issue, had the car salesman just told us that it would be a 3 day fix there wouldn't of been a problem, instead he just told us crap to get the papers signed and the car off the yard. Just another car dealer that doesn't care once they have your money.

Dangerous and unqualified staff destroyed my car and voided my warranty. To keep it simple this story began over 18 months ago with a shiny new Chrysler 300S, now this car has had its problems but for more than a year I pursued Chrysler and its agent in Mornington (Nissan Service) attempting to have the transmission problems rectified only to have the problem grow worse with each visit. This coupled with a complete valve body replacement which was followed by a service tech forgetting to put the required amount of fluid back in causing massive jolting and loss of power on the freeway. After months of fighting and Consumer affairs involved another dealership, Knox Jeep. These guys were helpful but couldn't even perform the evaluation as Mornington Nissan had rounded off all of the bolts on the transmission voiding my warranty. This was classified as physical damage and neglect. Further intervention and Knox convinced Chrysler to cough up the money to perform the evaluation and reinstate my warranty. Further work was still required as Knox only performed the evaluation and agreed the car was not driving properly. Caroline Springs were given the opportunity to repair the vehicle as originally sold by them and I was informed all of these problems stemmed from Mornington Nissan replacing my transmission fluid with the old fluid containing the shattered valve body. Mornington Nissan allowed tainted transmission fluid containing pieces of metal to be used again, I am sure they billed Chrysler for the new fluid too. So here I am without my car for over 4 months in total due to dangerous and misleading behavior. Thanks guys, you cost me a fortune and during this process have pulled Chrysler and Nissan into disrepute. If you have had a problem with them don't believe the hype, I made the mistake of trusting what I was told and how Chrysler were to blame, turns out a competent mechanic can make the difference.

I purchased my Nissan x trail in December 2018 and was quite happy with the service and the price. I also purchased the paint and leather protection and was told that if my car was damaged, once it was repaired they would reapply the paint protection at the dealer ship, at no cost. I booked in a service at Mornington Nissan and tried to organise my front quater panel to get the paint protection reapplied, as it was hit in a carpark. On the day of the service I was advised this was not done at the dealership. I was advised the person who sold it to me was on holidays and could not be contacted and they would need confirmation from her. I called back a week later and was advised I could take my car to another Nissan dealership local to me. I just had my 30,000km service at another Nissan dealership and tried to get the paint protection reapplyed and was advised it had to be done at the dealership I purchased the vehicle at. I called Nissan Mornington and spoke to the woman who sold me the product about my experience and she advised Nissan Mornington should have reapplied the paint protection and promised to work something out and call me back. Nearly two weeks later not even a phone call. I feel I have been given the run around and based on this, I would not recommend to buy these upgrades (paint and leather protection) and would not purchase any new car through this dealership. My car was also returned after the service from Mornington Nissan with a scratch on the inside of the door. I complained about it and was told I would be contacted by a manager. I never received a call.. Very dissapointed with the after sale service.

Have had nothing but trouble since buying my Navara new there in 2013 nothing major wrong with the vehicle but the staff have botched up many times and been extremely hard to deal with even with simple things such as a service booking . Recently (Jan 2017) I took my vehicle in for it's 80,000 kilometer service which is a major service and expensive which is fine if you get what you've paid for BUT.... After the service I noticed oil leaking for under the front allover my driveway I looked underneath it was such a mess oil every where I couldn't tell where it was coming from so I called Nissan road side assist they sent out the RACV guy he found the sump plug had not been done up properly was finger tight! So I take it back to Mornington Nissan they done a quick check and washed the engine while I waited for 20 minutes and claimed everything was good I did get a apology from the receptionist and offered $25 off my next service, the Service manger blamed their Apprentice for the botch up. Since then my Navara hasn't been running rite they won't give me a refund and I don't want to take it back to them because I believe they are incompetent,Nissan customer care have done very little to help and despite multiple requests the dealer principle will not take or return my call. Beware of the Nissan brochure that says myNissan SERVICE CERTAINTY that states " Quality service and Peace of mind " I certainly feel Mornington Nissan did not give me that and that Nissan have been complicit with them.

I just went there and have look the car. Unfortunately what colour I want they don’t have . I went so many Nissan dealerships but they don’t have because of COVID. The car I want to purchase for my wife birthday and I explain to Alain about colour but he is very smart person for find for me car within 15 minutes. He is gave me good price with negotiable. I m happy with that. Before my wife birthday he was organised car for pick up. When I went there to pick up car was ready for congratulations and it’s like good service and alway respond to me even finances manager Lee also provide to me information regarding insurance stuff. I appreciate that. Main thing is when I was pick my car I m forgot my car floors Matt’s after that I don’t have time to go there to pick up . Although I went to this dealer because I was looking for a specific car, I felt being treated like an idiot. Probably because I am a woman, looking to buy a car with little knowledge of the stuff guys know when it comes to cars. "We'll look after you" is the typical response from their sales people, who couldn't care less. Why the rude and arrogant finance girl is employed by this dealer? No idea! She was unable to give me any info on interest rates, fees or charges unless I get into a contract with Nissan Finance. Well, I wanted this info BEFORE, so that I am able to compare loans. I was about to leave after my short meeting with her. In the end I purchased the car I wanted. Picked it up and still wait for the service book which they don't have "yet" (it's an executive used car with very low km). This dealer is very unprofessional and I certainly won't buy any more cars from them!

Bought my second new Nissan Xtrail from Mornington Nissan 5 months ago ( First one bought from Nissan Ringwood and hassle free)The deal and sign up on the day - effortless but that's where the good news story ends. Nothing but delays and a faulty new car with 14 km's on the clock delivered. Mornington Nissan have not contacted me once to follow up. I did all the running around to rectify problem. 4 months later I have a car that still drives rougher than my previous 190,000 km Xtrail. It took another Nissan dealership to identify problem within 15 minutes. Never Nissan Mornington and never a Nissan again. Now I understand why their car sales have dropped significantly versus other well known brands.

My wife just took our Nissan in for it's 10,000km service and couldn't speak highly enough of your team at Mornington. She waited for the vehicle while it was serviced and said more than 3 different people came in at different times to check on her and see if she needed anything. I am in customer service also, so small things like this go a long way. Also, my daughter enjoyed playing connect 4 while she waited. Car was serviced on time and also got it back cleaner than when she gave it to you, which was a nice touch. Thank you for treating my wife and daughter with genuine customer service

Absolutely wonderful service from the service staff at Mornington Nissan. I complained about a faulty Glove box and it was replaced at no cost also had a noise checked out as we could hear it inside the car. After some time it was found to be something outside the vehicle transmitting the noise. Fantastic staff who went above and beyond to get my little Micra on the road. I'd contacted various Nissan dealerships to obtain a price to replace the keyless fob and found them to be $350 cheaper than anywhere else! Very friendly staff though workshop did not deliver. Took 2017 pathfinder in for 2 problems. 1 was fixed the other wasn’t. Also found the engine cover had not been secured correctly. That said they did deliver by providing cover for 50% of the bill even though out of warranty. Or did they. I priced the part and for what they where going to charge I think I may have paid full price anyhow Now waiting 10 days to rebook with local dealer

Don't waste your time with this mob, it's a shame as I am happy with the car to date but when it comes to returning my $1,000 deposit well that's another story, they take it straight away but they seem to think they can take as long as they want to return what is not theirs, my 3rd week now waiting for my deposit to be returned, this is not satisfactory, give me my money back now, no more excuses
