I personally had a good experience but I was quite nervous as a female single rider at night since my cousin told me they saw someone doing heroin in the street right below the station. Definitely a little spooky to be walking alone with my suitcase and backpack, but luckily nothing bad occurred. I felt mostly safe yet a bit confused on how to navigate once at street level. During the day I was much more comfortable and able to navigate. Would ride again, not expensive, and nice ride overall
I used to live close to Mount Baker station and use the light rails almost every day. The station is super clean, accessible and spacious. The only different to other stations is that you need to buy the train tickets downstair and use the elevator/escalator to go up. There are some small parking spots downstair but not recommend to park more than 15 mins. Overall, I love this station
Great place to catch the Seattle light rail. There is an easy drop off place for people being dropped off by car. The 7, 106, and 48 metro lines stop nearby. Security patrols the platform. You can reload your orca card here. It's very convenient.
Transit goes fast and safe at each location stop..it takes you all over the city in a snap,.Seattle's transportation is like a well oiled machine. It all runs like clockwork.and it's gonna be better when the new light rail to Bellevue is done!!
Both the escalator and elevator for a direction are frequently broken and not repaired for weeks at a time. This makes it inaccessible for disabled people since it is an elevated platform. They have both been out of order for over a week
As transit stations go, this very convenient one fits the bill. Really convenient drop off and pick up spot to grab a Lyft or Uber home, and a quick walk to the bus transit center, make the “last mile” not an issue.
Escalators not working, but otherwise everything else was modern, clean and operable (including the elevator). Should be fine for anyone needing wheelchair accessible access.
Clean, easy to navigate, not too many Ave rats
