"4 scoops of ice cream (2 per person) ended up costing $10"
"I would like to mention that half of the items ordered for delivery were not available but yet I was not informed I wou Linn d like to knowledge what I did receive"
"The food quality of this store has gone down dramatically"
"Glad its a convenient place for students but the fish and shrimp aren’t what you’d expect"
"Funny little store: "we rent hookahs," lol"
4 scoops of ice cream (2 per person) ended up costing $10.33 What!!! Thats enough to buy 10 quarts at the grocery store. If this filthy store would have had their prices posted we would have walked out. Moreover, the freezer must be broken because our ice cream, although tasty was pretty much melted. We'll never go back!
I would like to mention that half of the items ordered for delivery were not available but yet I was not informed I wou Linn d like to knowledge what I did receive. A order of sambusa and fish strips that were obviously made together with the same out of date oil. And yes, a side of anything would have been nice.
The food quality of this store has gone down dramatically. It used to be worth the drive as I live about 40 miles north of this store. My orders were not correct, the meat is dry, hardly any sauce on the sandwich, and the bread is hard. I have been unsatisfied with the past several food orders.
Glad its a convenient place for students but the fish and shrimp aren’t what you’d expect. Very thick, floury batter. Shrimp had good flavor just too much batter and the fish was super salty. We had to peel off the batter and just eat the fish itself which was semi frozen in the center.
Funny little store: "we rent hookahs," lol. I was looking for something good to-go and was about to leave when the owner/manager asked if I saw the hot menu, scrawled on blackboards above his head - which I didn't see. I got a tasty and filling lamb gyro for 7 bucks. It hit the spot.
The owner and chef are super cool and pretty funny to laugh at with their odd antics. They will tailor your food per order typically! Also, it's open super late so if you're hungry after bar close then you're gonna eat well. Check it out at least once!
This is a Mpls classic like Matts Burger or Mickeys Diner. Back in the 90s there wasnt many places open at 3 am and this place used to be packed with college students looking for a late night bite. The owners I believe were Brazalian. Their
My food was great! Everything tasted fresh and like it was made with love. Also, they give you a generous amount of food for the price! And what made it even better was that I ordered at 1am and my food didn’t look or taste like it was made
Breakfast is great. You absolutely can't miss the bacon, sausage, egg and cheese which comes on a croissant. The burgers are good. The wings are great. Breaded and seasoned with salt and just a hint of black pepper, they come with ranch and
Ordered through Doordash and it was great. The Lambzilla was delicious (very large, will have lunch for tomorrow, for sure)! My kids enjoyed their food as well. We ordered some breakfast sandwiches for the morning too, I am sure we wont be
I’m new to the neighborhood and have not tried their prepared foods, but have shopped in the convenience section a few times. My suggestion would be to update the offerings. I would love to spend my money on packaged goods here as opposed
Great neighborhood convenience shop that offers more than meets the eye. Mitch behind the counter is an excellent grill master, and always good for a story or two. If you're feeling adventurous, order "the bomb", you won't be disappointed!
one of the workers was very rude to me and although I have frequented this establishment many times they refused to provide service to me nor explain why. I am of legal age and tried to buy a beer, of which I have done many times at this
Food is awesome here for such a divey place. Neighborhood staple though, IMO. I went to the U about 15 years ago, and have been going here for chicken, fries, and now even gyros, and burritos too. I guess there is a store there?? I just
Ordered online for pick up, a service that is available through their google page/post mates. It was canceled and I recieved a message as you can see in my screenshot. I went to the location where the woman at the counter told me it was
One of the best burgers I've eaten. Their secret seasoning is what makes all their food so good. Sometimes, especially in the summer, wait times can be a little long, but it's usually worth it for fressh, made to order food. Yes it's
Stop here for a pack of cigs, a cool drink or a whole meal. You can't go wrong at corner stores like these. They really define the word convenience. With the variety and the location there's no reason to question how they've been in
This is THAT PLACE. That place you take your friend from out of town to lunch at. That place you go to at 1am when you just really need some cake or cigarettes, ya know. Insanely good food and casual laid back service.
Been eating that this little gem for over ten years. Everything is great. Finding this place is like finding a secret bodega in Manhattan--- delicious food at the best price. Get a cheeseburger, it'll change your life.
Ordered the sambusa and the triple threat. The triple threat is exactly what you expect it to be...artery clogging goodness. It tasted amazing. The sambusa however was literally a pinch of ground beef and 5x salt.
Cool and Casual Corner Spot! ... Everything I wanted without the attitude you don’t want. A must drop-in for a delicious gyro ... not-to-mention all of our favorite grab & go goodies are there. Just Awesome!
Food might be good but I've personally never like a la carte style service, and they need change there menu because I ordered 15 wings and received 7 1/2 because what they mean is wing pieces not wings
Excellent gyros! It is a convenience store, with convenience store prices, but the food is good, and there are places outside to enjoy your food/hookah... yeah, they'll set you up with a hookah.
The gyro was huge for $7 bucks but it was pretty bad. The outside was really greasy and it all just tasted off. The aftertaste was horrible, almost tasted like a cleaning product
excellent service, and excellent food. even if there is an issue they will take full accountability and fix it as soon as possible. wonderful business i am happy to support!
This place used to be great a couple years ago. What happened? The quality of the food and customer service have gone way down. None of the good people are there anymore.
I ordered a gyro and fries from them through doordash and they were really quick! You also get a pretty decent amount of food for a fair price. I would highly recommend!
Didn't have black beans. They had refried and chili beans though, which seems weird. They have gum and ice cream though. I'd just go to lunds and byerlys from now on.
First of all, no one was told to spit in anyone's food. We've stopped by for 4 years since living in the area and have met both the previous owner and the new one.
Ordered their wings via DoorDash. They were a bit heavy on the breading and didn’t quite hit the spot; I’ll have to try their other items. Prices are reasonable.
I was supper Hungary and could eat anything but I couldn’t even try The Fries , it was old , cold and hard . And the Philly wrap was salty and nasty .
Ordered via door dash . Sambosa was good! Chicken gyro, pita chewy. Sauce was nasty and been sick my stomach ever since I ate it.
The fries were good but the chicken was terrible , soggy , had so many feathers I spent 18$ on food from ther never ever again
Pretty good I had the steak sandwich reminded me of home lol just wish the steak had a Lil less fat but still good …
Very awesome people very convenient on weekends they open till 4am love it. Love they Nacho's my favorite
Great service and the food is done of the best in MN everything is made fresh and they're open until 3am
I love Santana Foods; they have the best French fries this side of the Mississippi
They are never open at 9am so they definitely need to change there opening time!
Food there from the grill was hitting after a long day
