This *used* to be a really cool spot to hang out. After a hiatus of around a year, I dropped past tonight for a last drink after a family meal before heading home with my Mum, Dad and girlfriend. Everything started off well and our first round of cocktails were as expected, awesome. We were then told last drinks were being called. After ordering at the bar, the bartender (turned out to be the manager as we found out later) brought us our drinks and ended the round with a meek ‘and also, don’t touch my girlfriend’ statement aimed at my dad. Perplexed, we took a moment to take in what had just been said, but by the time we concurred that what had just been said was actually real, he’d disappeared. It turns out that at the bar, the bar manager’s girlfriend struck up a conversation with my dad, and upon walking away, he wished her a good night and brushed her shoulder. The bartender was furious at this and had expressed it in a feeble way as he walked away from serving us our drinks. We were then separately told by the friendly security guard we had 5 minutes to finish our drinks and get out, as their liquor license was ending. As we finished our drinks and were ushered out, we were greeted by the dulcet tones of the bar manager screaming ‘you f*cking c*nts’ as we walked down the stairs. I don’t know what kind of staff changes have occurred since I last visited and Olly was managing the bar, but calling a 74 year old man with his wife, son and partner out for a drink a ‘f*cking c*nt’ is definitely not something taught at bar school. If you really want this insecure Karen experience, I would highly recommend Mr Goodbar. Otherwise, I’d probably steer clear, less you be told to order a drink and down it in under 10 minutes, accused of sexual assault and yelled expletives at as you leave whilst just enjoying your drink with your family. Another warm hospitality experience from an experienced bartender such as the man with the blonde ponytail.

This was my first time at this bar, and i can say it was a fantastic experience. I was greeted upon entering and provided a seat with a menu of all of the drinks on offer. They have a large selection of cocktails, so there are plenty of options to suit a particular taste. My cocktails were made to perfection and tasted wonderful. Regarding ordering drinks, you can order directly to the table with a QR code or go up to the bar yourself. I used the QR code method, and my drinks came out in a very timely manner. I also love the atmosphere of this place. It has a cosy feel without feeling like you are too close to other tables. In my opinion this place is wonderful and highly recommended if you are looking for a top-notch cocktail bar.

From the mightily funky tunes to the ultra fresh cocktails, this bar oozes more soul than your standard run of the mill bar. The atmosphere is electric and vibrant, the staff attentive and inventive and the fellow patrons are all there for the same reason: to simply relax to some funky beats with some mighty fine drinks. The music isn't that loud that you can't hear yourself talk and the lighting creates an intimate atmosphere.

A nice and fun place to come with a group of friends, the vibe is funky and disco which alot of people appreciate. The drinks menu is fairly good, I recommend trying some of the signature cocktails available at this bar. In terms of the interior, it's really aesthetic and perfect for some nice selfies and the staff maintain a strict level of hygiene to ensure the customer's safety and wellbeing.

We had our engagement party at Mr. Goodbar and we loved it! Everything about the place is so cool! The drinks, very helpful and friendly staff, the DJ and the music all great. The place looks so beautiful inside and out. We loved it! Thanks to Jasmin and his team. Thanks to them it was such a smooth and easy event with nothing to stress about! Highly recommended!

Good vibe on Saturday night for after dinner drinks. We had the watermelon cocktail and it was very nice and refreshing. Cocktails are about 20 dollars and wine is regular prices. Lots of drinks options but highly recommend the cocktails. DJ was playing and the place have variety of seats and table but I guess you can dance there too if you want.

A small cosy cocktail bar a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Rundle st. Great house music and looked like it might get a few dancers late into the night. Cocktail list is solid and they make a mean old fashioned. Cocktails all seem to be about $15-$18 each. Go early to grab a booth.

I think I went here too early, my advice is go when it's dark, it's cosy, a date spot with inventive drinks. QR codes ruin the vibe a bit, especially since they also ask for tips on the system

If you catch the time when it’s quiet it’s really nice, the staff and service is amazing and let’s not forget the drinks, you’ll be wanting more. Great atmosphere and the music isn’t too loud. Plenty of seating around. Recommend to stop by for some cocktails

The cocktails here were so good! It was a themed night so they had a mystery cocktail box and we had a few that we probably wouldn't have chosen otherwise. Delicious! ❤️

Very friendly service here!!! The bartender was great, clearly loved his job and made a delicious dirty martini (even asking how I liked it!!). The bar itself had a great fit out and from the ‘second floor’ overlooked the Laneway below, very cool!

Excellent customer service , friendly and they know their stuff! Best cocktails in Adelaide. Will add ,my fiancé and I got engaged and the fellas chucked in a complimentary drink as well. We will absolutely be back. Thank you guys so much.

Lovely small bar near the town centre. Excellently stocked bar and very good service. A really good vibe and a nice way to end an evening after a show or restaurant.

Want a good cocktail? Look no further, the Wizard of Aus stopped both myself and my colleague in our tracks. Amazing/10 Quality service, beautiful venue, excellent live music. Definitely in my top 5 stops for an Adelaide visit

Went for a friends 21st and was impressed by the great selection of cocktails and very patient bar staff. A real hidden gem, keen to go back

I often take friends to Mr Goodbar because it’s a unique venue and packs a punch with its cocktails. There’s one barman from the US who is a superior mixologist and blends the perfect sour cocktails.

Great staff, friendly, attentive & willing to go the extra mile. The usual selection of drinks, a few interesting cocktails. Just a shame the guitarist is on maternity leave, she was wonderful too.

Fantastic atmosphere, simply the best cocktails I've had from anywhere in Adelaide. The bartenders take their job very seriously and really enjoys what they do. Definitely one to go back to.

Anythony and the whole team is amazing recommending fabulous new drinks highly recommended the alcoholic Dr Pepper if u like Dr Pepper. Again team is always amazing gr8 tunes and atmosphere

Great vibes, amazing service and cocktails that are to die for! 100% recommend The mulberry Charlie Chaplin! we also had the cucumber collins, appletini and toblerone which were delicious!

Great service and great cocktails! It does get busy, but if you can get a table, it's a great place to go for starter drinks or stay there for a few hours and drink all you want!

The signature cocktails are nice but not worth the price, and they’re quite two dimensional in flavour/aroma. The ambience isn’t terrible, but the acoustics and music are.
