Mary will make you feel like everything is in order, but that isn't necessarily the case. I scheduled 3 movers for $165 an hour as I was helping my brother coordinate his move. He has large, heavy furniture and we knew we couldn't handle getting it off the truck and into a storage unit. Paying $150 an hour for 2 men didn't make any financial sense to me when you could get 3 men for $165 an hour. Mary assured me we'd (A) get a call a day before the move - DIDN'T HAPPEN, (B) get a call an hour before they were going to show up - DIDN'T HAPPEN, and (C) have 3 men - DIDN'T HAPPEN. When confronted with the situation, she told me I could choose how I wanted to proceed - for the two guys to work or not. Nice option when you've got a truck full of stuff that needs to be emptied and thought you'd hired a professional company to handle the task. I told her I didn't want to just pay $150 an hour as that was a rip off for 2 guys when paying an additional $30 for 2 hours was what I wanted. I didn't HAVE a choice and had them work. Our movers were Robert and Malcom. Robert was a more mature, nice older gentleman. Malcom was younger and a complete jerk. He referred to Robert as "grandpa" and bossed him around like crazy. Malcom kept pushing Robert to move faster and run up and down the ramp of the truck. Twice I was positive that we'd need to call an ambulance as Malcom kept insisting that he move faster and faster DOWN the ramp with a full load of stuff. The stuff was not handled with care and neither was his fellow worker. To put it bluntly, it was stressful and nerve wracking and annoying and an experience I wouldn't want to repeat. They didn't end up charging me the full amount, but I'm a displeased customer anyway. Take a moment or two before considering using this company for your move.

I'm out an expensive master bedroom set because I went with this company. ONE OF THE THREE MOVERS THEY SENT " QUIT" HALFWAY THROUGH THE MOV.E (It was his first day on the job and he realized he couldn't do this line of work) The main mover was excellent and worked hard and thorough. Third mover was not built for the heavy work but did his best . I specifically told the scheduling person that I was moving into a 3 story townhouse and that my bedroom furniture were heavy pieces. She assured me that they were capable workers and there would be no issues. There definitely was an issue !! Movers were an hour and half late they said it was due to traffic ( understandable) but worst of all, my bedroom furniture never made it and I now have no furniture in the bedroom. I was put in a position to make a rash & quick decision and sold the furniture for $300.00 on the spot because I had no way to get it up the stairs, Spoke to customer service and they apologized for inconvenience and took off $50.00 . I was exhausted, stressed, and out a pricey master bedroom set . and got $50.00 off ??? ( I'M OUT ALMOST $5000.00 PLUS HAVE TO BUY A NEW SET) Clearly does't make sense. Everyday I have a reminder of what I went through every time I walk into my bedroom. (no furniture) It took me a while to write this, hoping I could get over it but clearly I still carry the frustration. I went with Mt. Zion because I witnessed my friends move and it went smooth and movers were polite and hard working. I on other hand, was not as fortunate, didn't get the same crew. One hard working mover deserved 5 Star.

This is the worst moving company ever! Crystal was our sales person/mover and became very rude and unprofessional once our belongings were are the storage unit. They demanded more money or they would NOT unload our property, then once we paid them, they carried the boxes in that said Fragile...upside down and would drop them on the floor. My husband ended up stacking all of our boxes as they would stack them and the stack would fall over!!! We also had requested 2 storage units, one with A/C and one without. The agreement was they would separate the boxes for the A/C unit and non A/C unit...they would NOT do that...so we had to get 2 A/C units! The absolute worst moving experiance we have ever had. I DO NOT reccomend them at all.

I can't say enough good things about Prince and his team at Mt. Zion Movers. These guys showed up on time, worked incredibly hard, and wrapped all of my belongings to make sure nothing broke during my cross town move. They were fast, they were professional, and they knew what they were doing. They made the normally excruciatingly painful experience of moving a simple joy to behold. Frankly, these guys worked so hard that I got tired just watching them. They had my entire apartment packed and moved into my new place within 3 hours. They couldn't do enough for me, and even offered to help reassemble furniture. I would not hesitate to hire them again and will absolutely be recommending them in the future.

Mt Zion made my move easy and efficient. They showed up early and got started right away. We moved from a third floor apartment , it helped a lot that they were in shape and didn’t need to take a lot of breaks. They worked with integrity. I appreciate that they didn’t try to cut corners and extend time. I’ve used other movers before who were more expensive but they damaged my walls and dressers. Mt Zion made sure everything from our furniture to our plants was prepped and safe. The only complaint they had was the music my wife was listening to, and to be honest I didn’t like it either . All n all they were professional and affordable. I will definitely use them again.

I have moved several times in my 30+ years on this earth. This one took by far the longest. Quoted 4.5 hours and it took closer to 8. For a one bedroom loft down a mile or so within the same neighborhood. When we brought our frustrations and concerns to management they were first understanding until it came time to pay. Then I was hung up on after being scolded. Save yourself the headache and find another PROFESSIONAL company. We spent $637 (still overpaid) for a one bedroom move. We could have moved ourselves and it been faster! We also requested tv boxes and dismounting of our TVs. We ended up having to do this ourselves.

My wife and I have moved 3 times in the past 5 years and have used different moving companies all 3 times. We have been very lucky with our choices and none more so than with Zion Movers. The team that moved us were professional and fast, but also very careful. They exceeded our expectations by treating our furniture as if it were their own. Even though the work was grueling they wore masks throughout. They were willing to take anything that wasn’t nailed down. Not only that, they finished well under budget!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Zion movers to anyone I know or is contemplating a move.

Horrible experience! They damaged items, lost things, and took twice as long to unload than it did to load (even though there was NO assembly at the new location). This resulted in a price that was almost double what I was quoted. They flipped furniture upside down, causing items to fall out of drawers. They have been completely unresponsive to my inquiries about how to file a claim for damages. Do yourself a favor. Save the headache and stress and hire another moving company.

I was on 75..... This company truck was driving erratic..... Speeding....switching lanes then pulled in behind a small Toyota starting blowing the horn and tailgating meanwhile, going 70 mph. I called the number for the business and advised the lady that answered the phone what was going on. She said everyone seemed to be having a bad morning. Unacceptable behavior for the 3 employees in the truck. I hope the company addressed this dangerous behavior.

These movers are amazing!!!!! They are extremely professional, very efficient and organized. They arrived on time and really took care of my furniture. We were moving from a condo so moving some big pieces can be challenging. They were very clever with their maneuvers. They also disassembled furniture very quickly. They also reorganized my storage units so I can downsize. I have used them twice so far. highly recommended.

I've had experience through the years with movers due to owning several properties and this company by far has a different standard of excellence. Moved my furniture and all my appliances and still had 2 hours to spare for the quoted time. Would definitely recommend.

MIKE AND DENZEL was awesome they were very professional and they were able to accommodate my move at the last minute. I would recommend them they are reliable and I had a really big move with lots of glass items and they took the time to wrap my items carefully.
