"The man pretends to speak bad English, but is rude to the customer"
I had my car in the lot for two hours. When I returned my car was clicking and not turning on. The car battery was dead. This one guy came to my car and said that it has to be that my cars battery is bad or the car itself is bad. They even went on to say that it happened cause I have a Apple charger cable on my USB port. I think had he not been yelling and disrespectful to both my wife and I, I would’ve over look this but the staff was extremely rude about it. So I got the car charged and I turned the car off and turned it back on several times to prove the car is not the issue. It’s a 3 year old car, there is no way a Apple cable on a USB port is going to kill a 2018 car. Especially if there’s no device on it being charged, that excuse made no sense. The car was literally with the lights on when I walked towards it coming back to the parking lot. To add to this, the guy that’s telling me all this and yelling wasn’t even working when they took my car. He’s putting these excuses without even having been there when they parked my car. After proving it to him, he just says well it’s charged so who cares. After seeing how they treat customers and now reading the last review of this place scratching a car I recommend people to AVOID THIS PARKING LOT!
Paid for 7 hours of parking on ParkWhiz.com, parked at 2:30pm and returned to get the car at 9pm. When the car was brought to us, it was already warm. It was a cold 21° night in January, the car should not be warm after parking for 7 hours. I showed confusion and then frustration at why our car was at operating temp. Additionally, the hood latch was broken. We just had work done on the car and the hood latch was working fine the day before. The car also smelled like cigarette smoke. The attendants didn’t speak much English and had to translate what they said in Russian over an app. They said they had to move the car and left it running for an hour on accident. If this was the case it would be unacceptable. Understandable that if they didn’t have access to heat on a cold night that they’d use someone’s car to stay warm, but when it’s your car and you find things broken and they won’t admit to what happened then it becomes a very frustrating situation. Be warned.
Will never ever park here again! Dropped off my car at this parking lot around 9:45 am and we told them that we were planning to pick up the car around 6:00 pm. Something came up and we had to change our plan for the day. Got to the parking lot at around 2:00 pm, I was told that they would not be able to pull my car out due to the small lot was filled with cars. I emphasized that I was NOT asking for any refund even though I prepaid the parking using an APP till 6:00 pm, I just wanted my car. The parking attendant asked me to come back at 6:00 pm as that was the time we told them. I explained my situation and I really needed my car to go home, but they kept saying "come back at 6 pm". We ended up calling the police for this situation.
If there was a lower rating I would actually choose it instead of this one star. Im really disappointed of how my car was returned to me. Just purchased a new car a week ago to find out my car was scratched because of negligence of a manager who only wanted to fit as many car as possible in a small lot . ***Avoid this place and look for a better spot. Manager was really unprofessional and showed no ownership. Manager response to everything was that it was a busy day and cant control what happening with all the cars.
The man pretends to speak bad English, but is rude to the customer. He also charges much more in the end. The car is not oversize in any other Manhattan garage but he insisted identifying it as oversized using his bad English. He also didn’t help to drive my car to the entry in the end.
Been parking here for a decade. Best guys in town.
