"Nice little park with two play areas/structures"
I live near the bottom of Gatewood Hill and often do a neighborhood walk up to this park at the top of the hill. Nice views to the west on the walk up, nice views towards Seattle from the park itself. (Will have to grab a photo in that direction next time!) More
The centerpiece of this park, if you momentarily ignore the two behemoth water towers overhead, is a sculpture celebrating the tallest of Seattle's seven hills (at 520'). The sculpture design is a bit technical and clumsy, but also clever
The new style playgrounds seem very dangerous for younger children. It's not like a big toy that they can run up on it's a bunch of nets and poles. I don't like it. It's just not very practical for kids 2 to 5 years of age.
Provides one hell of a view of the Seattle skyline! You'll also find a nice flat expanse of field on top for dogs or lawn games. Still, lots of cars are passing by from 35th
Nice little park with two play areas/structures. One designed more for toddlers and another for older kids. There are no swings though and no restrooms.
Turn around point for my walk, clean park, paved trails for jogging and love doing the stairs. Lots of great sun today. Great view of Seattle too.
On a really hot day, this place gets a breeze. The dogs I walk like this park, and it's usually empty during the daytime. Well maintained.
Nice outdoor park with a good view of the city. There is a playground separated into a little kids section and a bigger kids section. More
It's a neighborhood green space with a playground, baseball area, and not much else. There are better parks a short walk down the hill
It reminds me of a mini version of Jefferson park in the beacon hill area, with a much clear(and western) viewpoint. Very soothing
Small park for the kids as theres a nicely kept play set. Theres also a nice area to walk pets or just for exercise if wanted.
It's a small grass field that local homeowner's use as a dog park. Nearby streets offer a good view of fireworks year round.
The location gives you a beautiful view of Seattle and directions to nearby hills - Beacon, Queen Anne, Capitol...
Nice short Brisk walk from another park to park. No rest rooms JUST a beautiful scenery with grids of Seattle
*highest point in Seattle city Kinda bleh but nice because its never crowded and if the play structure does
Nobody seems to understand that there is a leash law, and this in not an off leash dog park
Fairly small and usually pretty quiet but it's got some unique toys and climbing structures
Quick Getaway to highest point in West Seattle and watch some dogs fetch balls.
Beautiful view of the Seattle skyline and also views of the mountain ranges
High point of seattle. Not the greatest park but a pretty amazing vista
A great place for pup walking and great views of Seattle
