Love this bookshop/crystal shop/oracle card/tarot card shop/incense shop!!! The energy is so wonderful in there! The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. (They will chat you up!!) But, very good info and not sales-y. They just want you to know what the crystal/item you inquired about is all about. If you say you don't need help, are just looking, they will leave you alone. :-) They also provide astrology and divination readings as well as classes/workshops. There are now 2 Namaste shops on this block. The 'original' one is the one with the large Buddha out front. This is the one I love the most! It has an old-world feel and the coziness of the shop lends to its charm. The second Namaste, a bit further down the street, is newer, brighter and bigger with larger crystals to choose from, more jewelry, more worldwide statues from a range of cultures, and a lot of interesting candles, spiritual colognes, soaps, incenses, tabletop waterfalls, etc. So, whatever your New Age-y, spiritual needs, one of these stores will have what you're looking for. Love this place and have been going here for years.

I enjoy shopping at Namaste Bookshop for crystals and other spiritual items. The crystal selections are awesome! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful when you're not sure what crystal does what. I've purchased Oracle cards there as well. I love the perfume bottle with the rose top and when I got home, I had used sage to cleanse the perfume bottle with the rose top, it feels cleansed! Very happy with many of the purchases I've made over the last several years I've been shopping there! :-D So far, I haven't had any negative shopping experiences while shopping there.

Walked out of here, took off tag, chain broke, wouldn’t return or repair, made it seem like it was my fault, said to cut off label, not take it off, regardless a chain shouldn’t be made so flimsy that it could break so easily. Didn’t offer to replace or repair. Said “I can’t just eat the cost” so… needless to say, vibe was off and would not bother going back. It’s sad because I used to love this place but lately, new ownership, it’s just not the same. Also, you can buy everything they sell online for one fourth of the price. Bad form Guy.

I was looking to buy Yogi Publication Society books and in the process found out about this bookstore. I ordered The Secret Doctrine of the Rosicrucians; it was an international order and I received it today after a little over two weeks' time. My experience has been really good. I want to purchase The Dayspring of Youth. Please restock the book and reach out to me once it's available. The number one place to buy affordable crystals in NYC. They have the best selection of spiritual books I've seen. They do tarot readings in the back. If you are a new comer to the shop and are looking for anything in particular, the staff will gladly guide you along. They have things from self help/exploration to connecting with past ancestors to learning non-traditional medicine. There is a brand new location in uptown so if this spot isn't your cup of tea maybe the other one is!

I popped in quickly for some incense and as I was finishing my transaction I asked the person at the register if he had a favorite. He then took the time to show me his favorites and I wound up taking his advice. As I was wrapping up another employee recommended a scent as well. All of them smell delightful and the sales people were really helpful. The prices are a little higher than elsewhere but you’re paying for the customer service and location. I definitely recommend.

Excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable staff!! The shop is very well stocked with TONS of merchandise (books, crystals, incense, statuary, music, singing bowls, and SOOOOO much more!!! ✨️ The ambiance and energy of the shop and overall feel is AMAZINGLY healing and positive!! ☯️ Every time I go to NYC, this is one of a few places that I go to each and every time!!

It's a neat, cozy shop full of marked up products that, I promise, are cheaper online or in India/Asia. Regardless, the store has lots of insense to pick from, along with posters, books, stones, and card readings and you can find a quick gift for someone here easily. Staff can be helpful, but the manager wasn't there when we visited so we were unable to buy a product with no price tag.

Great atmosphere, you can literally spend 30 mins in here browsing and finding something new each time. I love coming here to get my divination cards. I enjoy the variety and the employees are very friendly & welcoming. I had a great experience one time when I couldn’t get a certain crystal and I was gifted it despite my situation.

Such a lovely place! It’s well-organized, the shop owners are friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a huge variety of beautiful crystals for the most reasonable prices I’ve seen in the city. Very excited to come back again.
