This is my second time at the Glasshouse branch. The last time it was on the weekend in the evening, we were told to wait for 45 minutes and guest who came there after we did were told waiting time 1 hour. Of course nobody wants to wait for so long specially if they have children. However the lady with the guest list was friendly and was in constant contact with her colleague in the basement restaurant, we were seated within 25mins which was great. Today at 1.45pm Nando's didn't look busy, yet the waiting time was 15 minutes. The girl with the guest list was not pleasant or friendly. She gave us an Unwelcoming unpleasant approach... i think her name is Darbour not sure of the spelling - We felt a barrier as she spoke, she had NO smile... no sense of customer service, so we decided to do a takeaway. When I went down to the basement there were more then half a dozen tables empty..... I thought it was so unprofessional to keep people waiting. I was told at the till that they are short staff in the kitchen so they keep customers waiting upstairs.... Well, I look at it as BAD management. Nando's at Glasshouse street is in a prime location, if they have the right staff who are really trained well with excellent communicate skills and "Qualified Management" Nando's would be able to welcome their guest with professional mannerisms and Nando's would be making/ generating better profits in their sales.

Whilst the restaurant is not huge, it is far larger than it seems. Nandos does not allow any reservations so we were concerned with meeting overseas guests there. However, we were seated within a few minutes by some friendly staff. It seems you now order things from an app by scanning a QR code at the table. In our case, with a coeliac in the party, we ordered at the counter and items were double checked for compliance. Very professional. The food was brought within about 15 minutes and was up to the usual standard and quality. If I had to make an observation, I was not blown away by the Vusa sauce...I did expect something with more kick but I am probably an outlier. Not much more to add other than bathrooms, table and counters were clean. Staff were friendly. Decor added to the atmosphere. The music playing in the background was vibey but not too loud to distract from conversation. Oh, please change the sauce dispensing caps - they are horrendous! They may work well with a lemon and herb sauce or olive oil but with the thicker sauces, it is P A I N F U L L Y S L O W to get any out. Overall, a very good experience.

Had a 15minute wait which was to be expected excellent service and staff were lovely only problem we had was that the butterfly chicken and garlic bread was inedible as very chewy and over cooked and that was 3 of us that said about the garlic bread and only one had the butterfly chicken. The garlic bread u could literally only have a couple of bites as gave u jaw ache or would damage a tooth. Other than that very clean and polite staff would visit again but wouldn't have garlic bread or butterfly chicken.

Vegetarian options
Not that much choice for vegetarians not everyone likes a bean burger or wrap . Might be worth while putting a breaded chicken burger or breaded chicken wrap on the menu like they do with the kids menu ad not everyone likes chicken with skin on in a burger or wrap as an adult. I know 2 people in our group of 3 wanted this option but wasn't available.

I was there with my family a couple of days ago. They seated us under the staircase that was by the entrance, which had spaces between each step. That wasn't very pleasant on a rainy day. We asked to switch places, since there was a free table right beside us. They didn't even tell us no, but simply ignored our request. The table was quite dirty, as they didn't seem to be cleaning any of the tables between each party, so we had to clean it ourselves with napkins. When we got our drinks, one of the cups had a lipstick stain on it from a previous user. The food was OK, but the portions aren't very big, so if you're looking to eat more than a snack, you should order one or two sides. It was also very loud in there. This might not be the staffs fault, but definitely had an impact on my experience. I have to give them creds for their food actually being spicy though. Their medium is what some restaurants mark as hot.

It is a nice restaurant, very nice atmosphere, relatively clean dinning area. We visited on Monday for lunch. Ordered butterfly chicken breast and two extra pieces of chicken thigh. What delivered is for sure what I ordered but the portion is amazingly small since they are charging for one piece of chicken butterfly like around 9 pounds and almost 14 pounds for the menu. With the waiter forgetting my salad, it looks extremely petty, but it got quickly fixed after a short conversation with the waiter. Maybe if you want bigger portion, you should order meat with bones, like half or quarter chicken. Boneless chicken is more of a kids size meal. Chicken was a bit dry, flavoring is good, but not as good as what I was expecting. Maybe you will have a better experience without expectation. Overall, fun experience, would go again but I will skip the boneless options.

I’ve visited this location twice and have been very pleased with both visits. It’s also located conveniently in proximity of the various stores and outlets in the area. The wait times were 20-25 minutes, but we were seated earlier than that both visits. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Burger, medium spice level, and added pineapple on-top of it (it was actually quite flavorful). I also ordered the spicy rice, which was well made, and a Five Points XPA (Pale Ale beer). All great selections. You also have the option of ordering via website or at their counter if you have allergies and have self-serve sauces, plates, utensils, napkins, and fountain drinks. I would recommend this location to any shopper within the area if they are craving some Nando’s!

Slow service. Waited 35 minutes with a friend last night and the dining area was not even a third percent seated! No cashier so they asked us to use the scanning code to order, a new baffling experience. The staff did not clearly explain what to do so it took us even longer to order. Staff looked unhappy to see additional customers despite of their slow service. No thank yous heard after each customer leaves. The music played loudly, it was quite hard to hear my friend when we were there. The chicken we ordered was cold as already been grilled a long time. If I can only refund or ask for a newly grilled batch, it was a bad way to have a meal. We felt we were hurried as they said they will close at 2200. But still accepted us to wait for table at 2105 for 35 minutes! We will NOT EVER GO BACK IN THIS BRANCH! The whole experience was a waste of our time. I hope their staff IMPROVES THEIR HOSPITALITY SKILLS.

For management’s attention, Went on Sunday 23/07/2023 for dinner around 20:30, for the very few times and although not busy, waiters and particularly a male with short braids seemed to hate their role and being there. I was very officially sat down, order was taken robotically at the till, food was very average, not the usual Nando’s taste, broccoli hard as a rock, never asked how my food was not the little metal rooster was taken off my table throughout my meal, no eye contact and when I left and said “ thank you and goodbye “ was completely ignored by everyone downstairs. The only friendly people who at least smiled and nodded was upstairs at main entrance. Sadly, not sure I’ll give it another go.

This branch is really needed at the place where it is located for shoppers of the regents street. As you enter the restaurant, you'd definitely think the entrance could have well placed for Nando's standards as one has to go downstairs for tables from the entrance. As in with any other Nando's, there's always a waiting time during peak hours. It was Sunday evening around 7ish we wanted to get in to this branch. There was about 10 minutes of waiting time(which I always hate).. and once we were let in, there was another 5 minutes queue towards the billing/ordering till. Waiting time wasn't too bad for about 15 minutes. Tables weren't great placed and feel like few of them have been added just to accommodate more people. Staff were good. I always found different taste in each of Nando's branch I tried and this one is no exception. I would rate it as 3.5* for the taste alone.

The most terrible service. Walk in booking made, waited for over 45mins and then cancelled our booking stating not enough food. When asked for manager was told shortage of staff. We had a new born baby with us, we were asked to keep the baby's push chair cot in our lap, how are we supposed to eat? The staff are very unprofessional, don't understand the situations, no one k ew what was happening and everyone kept blaming each other and no one took responsibility. It got late, so we had to order some food and leave. Nandos need to sort the staffing issues and need to communicate with each other. Nandos has best food and my favourite, but very rude and unprofessional staff.

Nando's is a casual restaurant rather than a fast-food one – another aspirational touch. The food is energetically spiced, where so many of its competitors are bland, and grilled to order, where the competition fries food and then lets it sit around. I'd be interested to know exactly how healthy the Nando's offering is, but that information isn't openly available in its restaurants or on its website. As for the chickens, they're not organic, but neither are they battery-farmed; Nando's buys from big outfits that comply with the industry's voluntary standards. This is for reasons of price and what it suspects customers are willing to pay – if the customers showed signs of being willing to pay more, I'm guessing Nando's would be quick to react.

Arrived here at 11:31 and was surprised to see that their opening hours had been fully honoured unlike other non-Nandos chain restaurants in the area. I was greeted by an incredibly friendly person and taken to my table. The restaurant was also particularly temperate and clean which was appreciated as it is a subterranean branch. The lovely person who helped me at the till even offered me guidance in how to order the same food in more cost effective manner as whole chicken vs platter had some interesting pricing structures. My only complaint is that as I was so near to opening I think the grill wasn't full screaming so the skin on my chicken was a bit on the gelatinous side compared vs what I'm used to but otherwise faultless.

First visited and posted review years ago. Food that time was pretty great except the burnt corn cob. There was a girl who looked or acted like she was in charge and would quickly go from table to table and ask if everything ok. I said the corn cob was burnt and before I could finish my sentence she nodded with a smile and quickly left. Seemed a bit arrogant and going through the motions but perhaps she was just busy. Update: just visited again and the food tasted even more amazing than usual nando's high standard. The guy with beard at the till and who seems part of management is always excellent with service. Upgraded my rating and hope to be back for more.

Our order was forgotten for about 20-30 minutes, and when we asked if our order went through (as we ordered through our phone) they finally went to check. It looked like our order receipt had fallen off from the counter so the kitchen stuff didn't notice. The food was ready after about 10-15 more minutes, but the server did not say anything. No apologies. I wouldn't mind waiting for food as I can understand that it can be quite busy, but the way they handled the situation wasn't so great.

it's changed a bit, service levels have dropped, they try to force you to use the app. Deliveroo takes priority over people dining in. It's business I suppose. The staff were nice enough, the shift manager however, very dismissive French male,( 5 points for who can name him), he could do with lessons in hospitality. I love nandos, but it's losing its touch. You're pretty much guaranteed the same standard whatever Nando's you go to. Chicken heaven for me, I always have the same. Mixed Olives starter, a beer, half chicken with two side dishes; great value for under £19. I normally give 5 stars, but I was going to give 4 this time because the beer was not cold. I didn't complain, but towards the end of the meal I was asked if I was happy with the meal by a staff member. When I mentioned the beer, they gave me a second, cold, complimentary beer. So good customer service, and back up to 5 stars.

The food was great. Really hit the spot. The sauces and chicken were delicious and savory. Recommend the sunset burger and cheese sticks. The only negative was ordering through the app instead of table service. However it was easy to use and nice to see all the menu items.

Was passing by Piccadilly area and saw the restaurant, so just had to hop in for a try. Dining is at the bottom of the stairs; ie. basement while the front area is more for waiting. Experience is not disappointing its a pay first for your choice of menu at the counter and then you wait for them to serve the food. Waiting time isn’t too long, perhaps around 20 mins. It isn’t that crowded, maybe it was somehow not peak dinner time. Portion is just great even for the side dishes. Had a really satisfying time.

I was expecting a little more from a nandos in this location, the queue was extremely lengthy despite only being at 50% capacity. The food was delicious. The downside was I was sat so close to other individuals you could practically hear their conversations. They need to move the chairs further apart.

Great staff, great food. It was my first time at Nando’s. I like how you can just scan and order online. The drinks were refills with soft drink options. The waiting time was about 10-15 minutes. Food-wise, the sauces were tasty and the wings were amazingly soft. I tried the extra hot sauce and it was nice, as well as the garlic sauce. The staff was helpful. All in all, had a great experience. And will come again for sure.

You have to wait 20-40 minuites upstairs just to get a table and won't let you down until they tell you. Then the restraunt is in the basement and place is tiny. I went with my mum and dad and they have gluten milk and soya allergies and they didn't know a thing about the allergies when we asked them.

if i could give it no stars i would, seriously understaffed not sure what’s going on. i’ve always felt welcomed in any nandos i’ve ever been to and i’ve never experienced such a worse service since going to this nandos. food was left on the side and all the workers was walking past the food not taking it to the tables. they prioritise deliveroo orders over actual customers in the restaurant! i’ll never go back here again and i don’t recommend anyone should. worst thing is no one apologised!

Great little Nandos, very good service, attentive and quick. The food was great, and the chicken was juicy. My only criticism is with the chips. Not my thing as they aren't crispy enough and pretty dry, but that's true with all the Nandos I've been to. Otherwise, fantastic location and had a lovely meal.

The peri-peri sauces that come along are always great. The service at Glasshouse Street was really nice. A big shout out to Eliza who helped with our dinner.

Terrible experience. I remember Nando’s from long ago in South Africa. This tiny burger made of yesterday’s bread-bun with a tiny piece of dry chicken was absolutely terrible. Only outdone by the lukewarm chips. I don’t mind online ordering at the table, but if the waiter is able to serve a plate, why do I have to get up and get the cutlery and a serviette?? NEVER AGAIN!

Fine but small Nando’s branch. The food is what you expect, but the restaurant itself is small and can get loud. It also only has two ordering locations, so lines are often long. The nearby Soho Nando’s is a five minute walk away and is much larger and nicer, with multiple registers so the lines never get too bad. I would recommend heading that way if you plan to eat during peak hours.

Good Nando's as usual, restaurant is downstairs with no natural light and not for claustrophobic but service was good despite the restaurant being full of people. Quite long waiting time, 30min to get a table and another good 20 to 30min to get served.

One of the best Nandos experiences ever. Was served by a very welcoming and really nice woman named Grace who assisted us throughout the whole process and recommended some new dishes which my friends and I had not tried before (fino pitta). Would recommend 10/10 to everyone. More

Went on Saturday evening with my mate, was told to wait for 20 minutes. But got a table in less than 10 minutes. Staffs are very friendly and lovely. If you are wondering what to have and want something quick, Nando's will be a good choice.

Got the 4 chicken thigh meal and the meat was decent. Didn’t have the greatest of flavor but the sauces definitely helped. The chips weren’t as good as expected; almost tasted similar to BK chips which I consider bottom tier imo. Coleslaw

Went in to use the toilet but got refused entry. I was willing to purchase food in order to use the toilet and was still refused entry. Won't speak well if this Nando's ever. Staff were not accommodating at all.

Excellent food. Small on the chicken portions but flavor and sides were amazing. Only four stars because service was slow, not sure if they have less staff but there shouldn't have been a 15 minutes wait when it was very empty.

Nando’s is one of the best fast casual restaurant chains in the UK. You can have as much sauce as you want! They’ve got five or six sauces from mild to extra hot, and let you take whole bottles to your table.

The best thing of this Nando's it's its staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Someone at my party had nut allergies and they really cared about this. Food was, as you would expect, good. More

Nice restaurant for chicken, highly recommend the chicken wings than whole chicken. They have different degree of spicy sauce. There are many branches so you can find the restaurants nearby.

First time at a Nando's coming from the states and it was soooooo good tried to fill a second time but they were packed wait times were too long just glad I tried it.

Good stuff. They got the spiciness level of my order wrong and the super grains side was awful. Other than that, the chicken was really good. A bit overrated.

Good quality place if you're a fan of chicken and multiple sauce options. The chicken portions aren't huge, but decent size. Really nice overall.

Waiting time is quite long as close to picadilly circus. This chicken was perfect. free refill beverage and various source is good point in here.

Horror show- paid £21 for chicken, given a 15 minute wait time, never even got the food. Had to leave after half an hour.

Really good chicken and not so expensive. Must say it tastes healtier and more filling than mc donalds for the same price.

Very disappointed with the how late the food came in claiming that we ordered starters and manager was super rude

It might be the best Nandos in London. It's so much delicious that made me think it has a differ from others.
