Food is always bland like they don't have salt in the kitchen. The chicken looked like it had been boiled maybe touched the grill for a second and not seasoned at all the sauce tasted watered down it's not what you expect from a Nando's it is more like old age home chicken. The staff are friendly enough but don't seem to understand their own menu was more difficult to place a order than it needed to be. Just overall not worth bothering with. The food has been bad sitting down take away and with delivery it is consistently bad in the same ways. edit As to the response asking for a receipt I suppose you are to lazy to just check for yourself. I don't want anything other than maybe in a couple of months when I give you another chance that the food is better.

Very disappointed. The fillet was very tough and had hardly any flavour / marinade. It was dry! The fillet was below warm. Will never go there again. It's the first time my son had Nandos, and he said he will never go to any Nandos again because their food is terrible. Such a waste of money, and a bad name for Nandos itself ! Unfortunately I don't have an option to give NO STAR. I see many bad reviews, and responses to reviews, but it looks like there are big promises, with no follow through! Don't waste your time or your money! Why is head office not doing anything about this? Maybe they are not bring informed!

It was clean and service was alright and somewhat friendly but the lady had trouble understanding our order, especially allergy issues. Despite this the slip reflected the fact that she had captured our order correctly, however, the kitchen messed up and we did not get the correct items. On top of this the food was awful with very little avo and extremely dry, chewy chicken. Would not recommend them.

The lady making the milkshake clearly wasn't happy to be at work. It took her almost 30 minutes to make the milkshake our other food was getting cold and we were still waiting for her. She was scrubbing the dirty the counter top prior with a dirty cloth then when it came time to make the milkshake she put the same hand inside the cup and made the milkshake like that. Not to sure how basic hygiene practices of washing hands especially during covid is falling by the wayside. Also the quality of the chicken was very poor. Sadly won't return.

I'm so dissapointed with the service I received from nandos Hillcrest last night, firstly the pos machines were out of service had to go withdraw from the nearest ATM which is very inconvenient, and on top of that when the waiter brought my food I politely asked him to please get me one the Sauces because I'm pregnant I mean I wouldn't ask if I did not need assistance and he says sorry he can't get the sauce for me he's got too many orders, I had to wait for my husband to get back from the atm to get me the sauce I'm so disappointed.

Ordered last night at 17h50 via the Nandos , driver arrived at 20h45. Terrible service over the phone from Nandos Hillcrest, no apologies. I was told by the manager at 19h00 that the driver is out on all deliveries and that I need to wait 1hr to 1.5hrs because it it's payday and a Friday. Absolutely shocking. I wonder if in-store clients are told the same thing? Are we supposed to just accept service like this these days? I would honestly rather order Tiagos instead. Thank you for letting my kids go to bed hungry last night.

Must say, My experience with this Nandos has been terrible, to a point that I now prefer to drive to Pinetown so I can get what I want as a customer. The issue is when you ask for extra sauce/basting on your chicken its like its mission impossible but funny thing is that it's only this one that I always have a problem with. I have even offered to pay the same amount of my chicken just to get the extra sauce but this was declined as not store policy. I am happy everywhere else where I have my Nandos expect Hillcrest.

Well I leave in the area and I love Nandos. I feel you need to up your customer service skills and we can't wait for an hour and then when you reach home your chicken is burnt and missing a part of a wing. This has happened to me a couple of times. You ask for an extra source ..and you find that your chicken is dry and u only have 1 sachet for 5 people. I was no. 147 and the lady who was no.160 went to the front and was assisted while a person who had no.140 was waiting for so long. This has to be corrected

I love Nando's and would give it a 5 star but the salads are awful! It's like ordering salad from a pizza place, the tomato is huge, lettuce taste like onions, huge pieces of pepper and it's just gross, really taste like 5 day old salad. I even ordered the feta, cranberry and pumpkin seed one to try see if it was any better.. nope you just threw in 2 feta pieces cranberry and pumpkin seeds on top of a 5 day old salad... You expect a healthy take away to offer amazing salads.

The staff are very friendly,professional and my food I get it always on time.

This rating is purely for the delivery service from Nando's Hillcrest. On 3 June 2017 we placed an order for delivery. We live approx 3km from the store. To cut a long story short, the food eventually arrived an hour and 45 minutes after we placed the order. The worst part was the pathetic excuses made by the store rather than admitting their error. Needless to say, the food was cold and returned to the store.

Nandos Hillcrest - No Stars. Placed an order for our office of over R1,000 online and half the order was wrong or not packed. How can you get it so wrong - my chicken avo and pickled red onion wrap was ordered with salad not coleslaw it had 2 tiny pieces of avo and a bottle of mayo rather than healthy salad. Nandos is supposed to be a healthy option - not anymore! VERY DISAPPOINTING, will not be going back.

Cashier had a wonderful attitude and was very helpful, but then they messed up my chicken pieces in the kitchen and the woman that went through the order list with me was rude and I had to insist that they check in the kitchen for the correct pieces which they had already run out of. Overall the food is still good but the manager should be present in the front of the restaurant.

No ff.up check by waiter,I ended up not drinking water I requested.

Worst Nandos I have EVER had a meal from. I ate there twice before in the hope that years later that management and staff were better, but no. The chicken & chips was awful. Not what you expect for the most expensive chicken take away. I will never order from this Nandos again !!!

The quality of service is so bad. Ordered and paid for meals only to sit down for half an hour waiting for our food, then the server comes with the plates and asks if anyone told us we would need to wait 5 mns...waited 20mns then the food comes. Absolutely ridiculous really. At least the chicken is delious

35 minutes to process 2 wraps, 1/2 chicken and rice. Queues of people coming in after us, leaving with their orders, but when we ask nobody seems to know what's happening. Get home, and everything's ice cold, so apparently it's been standing somewhere for awhile. If you're looking for fast food, avoid.

It was nice the food was great. But the serve of the waitress was kinda poor. She forgot the drinks forgot the kind of salad we ordered. And we had to get up from our seats to actually get the sauces ourselves

Friday nights online order collection took 40mins from when I walked in the door. I had ordered online 20mins earlier. The packing of orders was a shambles, there didn't seem to be any system in place. About 15 people standing around waiting for orders, no distancing!!!

They were quick with my order, relatively friendly and the price was decent. The ratio of carbs to protein was a little off (ordered the casa pap and livers) so maybe they can look at right-sizing that. Otherwise I've been here a few times and it's always a breeze.

Terrible service I finish my chicken still waiting for fried Chips, when my green salads it's came without my extra which was Avo after a while it came ... looking like this_check the Avos Ay ya yay, fried I had to do take away... Chicken was great though as usual

I am very impressed with nandos excellent service, their covid 19 precautions are very good compared to other restaurants and their kindness towards customers is very noticeable I definitely know the place to go from now on And food is delicious

Service is steadely declining.. No tomato sauce anymore and no glasses given. All the staff are hanging on all the tables and there is no place for patrons to sit. They look at you with disgusted looks on their faces. Will not be back....

Useless service. All tables were full of staff eating with few available to patrons. We asked for a glass but this couldn't be provided one because we didn't buy a drink. I have been going there religiously for years. Not any more.

Staff members have attitude. It was cold, they open the door and chat with friends, ignoring customers who are eating. When you make your point, they act as if you are wrong....with attitude...I won't eat there anytime soon.

NO STARS!!! Once again this branch has proven themselves with terrible service. Definitely will NOT be ordering from them again! The chickens are on diet, and they got the order incorrect AGAIN! Shocking to say the least.

I rate this Nando's outlet one of the top stores. Spacious and spotless. A person can see the chefs at work, preparing the food and it is so juicy and delicious

Short staffed yet pro-active staff, and that was a WINNER for me. My order didn't take them long to prepare(+- 17 minutes max).

Food is prepared quickly and the quality is great. Staff are friendly and pleasant. As a takeaway joint it does the job.
