Can I please ask, whether you are a police officer or member of the public, avoid any involvement with the NPCC from now on. They have employed Mr Gavin Stephens as their chair in 2023. He was the Chief constable of Surrey Police. On his authority we have a record of his legal team lying in court and falsifying DBS and other regulatory body records causing physical harm to children and others. He is an abuser and lies in court about it. In court he also tried to blame Suffolk and Metropolitan police for the lies of his officers. He therefore is not trustworthy to support any police force in this role and is morally bankrupt. When I contacted the NPCC to ask them to reconsider and look at the matter of his employment they were disinterested and didnt care that they were employing someone who brings the police into disrepute and lies in court. Please, please therefore avoid interaction or advice from this group
