The quality of the stock at NEA has been top notch. I have found interesting freshwater fish and they have always been shipped with care. The one time when several fish died during shipping (likely due to weather), NEA was very responsive to my emails and gave me a choice of ways to rectify the problem. They even provided a refund for a plant order they sent that didn't meet their expectations for the plant (they said it was not as full as they would have liked); so I got the plant for free. They have messaged me to say that they are working on providing complete descriptions for each fish. That's a big undertaking, but one that I (and I'm sure others) will greatly appreciate.

Very impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the place. Brian was very helpful. Second trip to complete our tank was even better than the first. We have only a 20 gallon aquarium but these folks treated us like we had a 200 gallon one. No question was too much. This is our ONLY aquarium store. Third trip...got the bug. We bought 2 additional set ups, Fluval Flex(highly recommend), and also brought home the most beautiful betta, see below. Thank you all again for your assistance. The staff here are the best! Not only do they have the best selection of fish, but anything else you may need to create your aquarium and keep it running beautifully. I have opted for a wet installation of a 131gal Crystalline Reef tank and the manager Sarah has been incredibly helpful. Her response time via email is super fast and she knows her stuff! Trust her judgment!!! I will definitely be taking all my money to that shop from now on! Update: the wet installation was fantastic and the service they provide goes above an beyond! Definitely the best Store for your fresh water fish needs I have been to since my days in Germany! 10/10

Brian and the team are exceptionally responsive and helpful. Natural Environment Aquatix has become my go-to store for all fish and plants. My most recent purchase was several plants, which were shipped promptly. Unfortunately, there was a delay with UPS, so instead of receiving the package Friday afternoon, I received it late Monday. Of course, the ice pack had long melted, and the plants were quite warm. But much to my surprise, they all survived the delay and look terrific in the aquarium -- a huge improvement over the plants that I purchased locally. Lesson learned!

We just got a 75 gallon tank and wanted to start filling it and we couldnt have been happier with the experts at this store! They tested our water, answered all of our questions, helped us pick out some new members of our family, and overall gave us an amazing experience. I ordered 10 black phantom tetras online here, (ordered before i knew i was supposed to use express shipping :/). But it turned out well, all of them lived and seem to be in great health with no disease. The fish were fairly priced and look amazing! Would recommend for anyone wanting to buy fish online.

Looked up local fish stores and found this one. Thought I'd been to all the "good" fish stores. Well, I was wrong. This one had great fish and a huge selection. Very friendly staff that knew a lot about fish. Pretty good prices also. I will be going back many more times in the future.

My Snow White Discus and Pigeon Snakeskin Discus arrived healthy and are doing great. My shrimp and and Kuhli Loaches are at home in my tank. NEA provides great quality, exceptional customer service and I will definitely be a regular customer.

I’ve only ordered twice, my second order is on its way. My first order was delivered and the loaches were great. They were a lot smaller than I expected. I’ve only seen 1 of the two since I introduced them (2) to my tank. They looked healthy.
