We had a unique emergency where my staff was being attacked while I, the owner, was out of state. My staff didn’t have access to their phones and I called the police department to beg for help. Receptionist was rude and did not know how to handle an emergency. She didn’t ask any questions about the situation or even put me in touch with someone who could have helped. She just wanted to get off the phone and not deal with me telling me, saying “this is how it works”. No idea what that meant. Poor training and terrible people skills; I have had more effective and compassionate communication at the DMV. Really disappointing; definitely makes the entire police department look inept.

One of the worst precincts in New York City. Detective Squad and RIP are unable to identify an IP And have no awareness of a digital footprint. A variety of Detectives from this Precinct Impersonate the Federal Bureau of Investigation and have no integrity. The Inability to communicate with the Bureau in order to impersonate them has allowed the detectives to fall into a pattern of frequent Fraudulent &a Malicious Arrest that yield no results.

Horriable, called because we had a block party and cars were moving the barricades so they can park. Officer told us there's nothing they can do. For small things to arrest us or tickets us they will show up but God forbid your trying to have a peaceful community block party like decent human beings and they can't help you. Thanks .. typical and if i fight the owner of the car i will get in trouble thanks for nothing ..

The fact that a commanding officer is giving orders to “kill a civilian on site” is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever heard of. Why is this man still in the position of power? How can a community feel safe, when the person in charge of our safety is so ruthless and wreckless. He should not only be stripped of his badge, he should be charged with a crime.

If i could i would give zero. I picked up my police report from there and saw there was a mistake the officer made. I asked to refix it they told me only the office who wrote the report can fix it. But he's on vacation so i have to wait till he comes back, which i did and went bacK. BUT NOW they said sorry it cant be done it has to be done within 10 days.

I feel tottaly unsafe with 72th precint .They allowed the crime or abusive ex boyfriend broke the door,stole my belongs and I can't filed report just because the cops did a mistake to allowed my ex (and I have a order protection against him)enter to the house and took my belongs.This is a shame

2/18/19 Im here because of 50 Cent being threatened to be shot by Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez 72 Bk,NY, seems this precinct needs to be investigated from all these bad reviews; waiting to see what happens with the 72nd Precinct?

In a hit and run accident in Brooklyn after 3 hours of waiting we ended up going to the station to file a report. What a joke! I have respect for police but they weren't very friendly or helpful. Zero stars from me!

Officer Phillips pulled me over for using phone. I was I admitted it. Than asked me to turn my phone around, said oh iPhone 10 huh went back and wrote me ticket, because I had a nice phone

0 star , they never respond to your 911 calls , unless someone is has a gun or knife. Any thing else they probably won't show up . No patrol cars insight.

I went here to file a report and was left waiting for an extended period of time. Lots of officers walking back and forth doing nothing.

I would like to give 0, this police station is a joke, never ask for help, useless. That's why new York is under-crime for this clowns
