I called this company after calling several other plumbers. Nick responded quickly. - First, which I find very satisfactory: no (dumb) answering service that only asks and logs all your information and details of reason for call but cannot respond to your question. Then you wait, when and if one calls you back. With Newcastle, I left a voice mail - Nick called me back immediately. He listened, asked questions and then promised to send a quote by email, which he did with details, the same day. Excellent, professional, courteous and reasonable quote! - Nick also quickly responded to text messages and was willing to respond to additional question (a concern of general importance). He was willing to talk on the phone (even called me back when I missed his call). Isn’t this a person one can rely on when a real emergency plumbing is urgently needed? - Nick gave me a professional advice when I asked because no one else would give me a knowledgeable response. Google searches will give many other information which only leads to more concerns. -Nick was not rude and did not make me feel like I am using his time only but with nothing in return (which was true bec I did not eventually hire him). Our timing did not work out (bec my contractor’s plumber re-appeared). I could tell that I like Nick - he knows his job, and more importantly, he sound dedicated (passionate) about his profession and overall a good person. I will not hesitate to call Nick when I have a new project. We contacted Nick about adding an additional washer/dryer unit on our main floor. He came to assess our needs and was prompt sending a very reasonable quote. Nick offered us options for preparing our home so that he could do the necessary plumbing. This prep work saved us TIME & $$$. Not all plumbers offer this option which reduces the cost for their customers. When we were ready for the plumbing we called Nick. He was completely book. No wonder, he offers good service and good work! He realized that we needed our laundry ASAP and said we would try to "fit us in". That very weekend Nick offered to work on a SATURDAY ( his day to be with His Family!) We were unavailable. Again he said he'd do his best to get to our job. He called last night and made special arrangements to do the work TODAY. We are impressed with the good communication Nick offers with his service. He keeps in touch with the client to arrange for convenient scheduling. (WhatsApp is very convenient!) Nick was careful to cover surfaces which might be damaged or dirtier by equipment or saw dust. He also "cleaned up!" I mention these things because it has been my experience that they are NOT STANDARD PRACTICE! Tks, Nick The job Nick tackled was unusual and he was considerate when explaining different choices we should consider. The final work looks good and is EXACTLY what we wanted. I have nothing but good things to say about the exceptional service Nick and his team provide. We hired what turned out to be a horrible contractor worthy of a Holmes on Homes episode to finish a basement. On top of the extremely bad workmanship, he didn't pay what was owed to trades including Nick, who the contractor found the same way we would have through Google. We terminated the contractor but maintained contact with Newcastle since they did an excellent job with the initial rough-in/install. Nick was not only sympathetic to our situation, but was extremely helpful throughout and made sure we were okay and taken care of while going through the process of dealing with the construction horror and having to fix all of the problems. Once we repaired and completed the work left by the contractor, Nick and his team came in without hesitation to complete the plumbing. Based on my experience, I wish there were more people in trades and construction like Nick and Newcastle Plumbing who take pride in providing high quality service, give extremely reasonable pricing, and have a a great deal of integrity. We'll be hiring Newcastle for all of our plumbing needs in the house going forward and recommending them to others. Thanks again Newcastle!

Newcastle Plumbing (owner - Nick) was recommended by our General Contractor for our renovations. Specifically, bathroom & laundry room renovations as well as laundry room drainage pipe blockage repair and pipe replacement for higher efficiency. We were very pleased with Nick and his assistant, Neil's quality work and professionalism. They were always courteous and a pleasure to deal with. This was a multi-day job and they will be returning for additional work as our renovation progresses. I had an emergency where I needed to get a toilet installed at my Mom's place in Scarborough. Due to the logistics of not being in Scarborough, I needed someone to trust and be mindful of the home environment. Nick assured me it would be "easy." Let me tell you, it was more than easy but an excellent experience. Nick and his associate showed up on time, assured my Mom all would go as planned, and he kept the area clean. He even mentioned that my Mom's place was super clean and neat, given the age of the home. I had a wonderful experience with Nick, and he even provided advice on things I could hold off on until absolutely necessary. I was comfortable with Nick's services, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again in the future.

My wife and I hired Nick for our sink and dishwasher installation in our new condo. Nick went above and beyond to ensure that we not only knew what needed to be done to prepare for the job but he also had a lot of experience dealing and navigating the intricacies of condo installations. He is very responsive and flexible as he was able to squeeze our job in earlier than expected. His work was impeccable and he was also able to guide me on what to do in case I needed to have the dishwasher removed or replaced. We looked up Nick and found him via google. Nick was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable and also help guide us to reach out to the manufacturer and get replacement parts which were covered under warranty (we were planning to just pay for them through a third-party). Nick is a very busy man (rightfully so) but he always kept us updated on his schedule and was very transparent on the work + pricing. Goes without saying that Nick arrived, replaced the cartridge, fixed the issue, cleaned up everything. Highly recommend Nick and also plan to work with him on any future projects (hopefully no more surprises).

I was in Florida when I heard that the basement toilet didn’t flush and shower had cold water sandwich. Nick completed an entirely new plumbing system for my custom House. The scope included all new plumbing stacks, vents, drains, new domestic cold and hot water lines throughout etc. Nick was very good in talking through and providing suggestions on layouts, routes for plumbing lines to minimize dropped ceiling and bulkheads. I've recently added a 2nd bathroom/laundry room to my bungalow in the basement. There were no rough ins for toilet, shower or vanity and existing washer dryer had to be moved. Nick was most helpful if helping me with a last minute layout change due to the drain being too close to where the toilet flange was going to go.
