Newlands is not a tourist destination by any stretch of the imagination. It is not clean, traffic is a nightmare and the local area is home to low cost housing where violence and drug trade is an everyday occurrence, in spite of the police

Its on the way in main road if short on petrol

the shop is small,well stocked, affordable

It's a disgrace, populated with thieves
