I do not recommend this business. I was a loyal customer of 2 years, and now I'll never go back. I dropped my car off yesterday for a basic wash before I head out on a road trip. I was told half an hour, so I set up shop across the street at Quickie Pickie. After about 40 minutes, I saw my car had been pulled out of the bay and two employees were standing behind it. I figured it was just regarding some details they were going over about the wash. After an hour, I decided to head over, since my car was obviously done. I walked my bike back, paid the owner, and when I went to use the release for the hatchback, the cover fell off, and the actual handle/button was floating around inside of the hatch. I fished around in there until I could open the hatch, but the handle was very obviously broken. I had taken the bike out of the trunk when I dropped the car off, it was fine, and they had obviously been in there to clean the trunk. If I had just driven away, there would have been no mention of this. I approached an employee to ask what had happened. He called over the kid who had worked on my car, and they both played dumb, claiming it must have been like that when I arrived. I kept my cool, but this went on back and forth for five minutes, until the first guy reluctantly offered to pay half of my repair. Half for something that is completely their fault. So then I was stuck trying to find a repair shop that could fit me in that day or the next. I managed to find a shop, they fit me in, but had to take off the entire panel and reassemble the hatch release/handle that had broken. It's still broken, but we found a workaround, so I can at least open the door easily now. I went back today, and the employee paid me the half he said he would, berating the repair shop for being too expensive. At no point during either interaction were an apology or refund for the car wash offered. No guilt was accepted for the damage done, and I was made to feel like an ass for calling them out on their screw-up. I do not encourage you to visit this place, and will never return myself.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I had heard such good things about this place. I wanted my front seat shampooed because I spilled watermelon juice on it, and I wanted it vacuumed because I recently took a trip to the beach with my dog. I was completely willing to pay a reasonable amount, knowing that it's hard to get dog hair out. I drove up open to discuss the price. I told her about the sand, dog hair, and watermelon juice. She seemed agitated the entire conversation, despite my friendly demeanor. I was given the $195 price to shampoo all the seats. That was out of my price range, so I asked about just vacuuming and shampooing the front seat and she said $75. I thought this was a little high, so I asked how much just to get the dog hair out, and she said $45. So I said, "it's $45 for the dog hair, or $75 for both the dog hair and the shampooing of the front seat?" At this point I was leaning towards paying the $75, but then she said, "no, it's $75 just to shampoo the front seat, because I don't believe that's watermelon on the seat." I'm not sure why she thought I was lying, but it was a really disappointing. I came here to support a local business in my neighborhood, and was willing to pay the price, and she was rude to me for no reason. Maybe this was a one time experience, or she was having a bad day, but thought it was worth sharing.

Charged me $80 because I had a bunch of dog hair in my back seat. I understand my car was pretty dirty but they didn't even get all the dog hair out, there is still hair all over the back panel under the rear window, in the creavases in the front passenger seat, under the seats. Also, they did a pretty terrible job cleaning the inside of my front windshield and inside rear window. Charging me 4x the normal amount and doing a halfass slow slow slow job is embarrassing and I will never be back. Glad I didn't tip them. If you want a true "detail" go somewhere else. This place might be good if you only need the outside of your car washed. But don't expect them to wax it or anything. I would've had them clean what was missed, but I had already waited 2 hours and they were trying to close and I just wanted to get the hell outta there and move on with my day.

I decided to come and try this place out for a basic $20 wash after reading all the great reviews. After waiting over an hour without my car being cleaned, I asked how much longer until my car would be done. They told me about 35 minutes, and I expressed my disappointment that nobody had warned me it would be such a long time waiting. The female owner of the shop proceeded to yell at me and told me to get out if I didn't want to wait. When I got in my car to leave, I saw that whoever had moved it left it running with the AC on high. I asked her why this happened, she said "you probably left it like that." When I tried to explain that I left it in a different spot and turned off, she walked away from me while I was talking. I was shocked at what horrible customer service I received from the owner herself. I will not return.

This small, family owned car wash is an absolute GEM. I came here to get my car detailed before a sale as I didn't have time to make an appointment with another detailing place and I read reviews about great prices. Their services were indeed exceptionally inexpensive for an incredible job. I was beyond surprised by the attention to detail and overall professional job done for a fraction of the price of any other detail in town. In addition, the customer service was outstanding. I was shown the utmost hospitality. I just went back with my boyfriends car, and they recognized me even though I first went 3 months ago! I would recommend this place to anyone, they treat you like family and take care of your car as if it were their own.

Fantastic car wash. Very thorough and affordable. They worked hard on my car, working late into their Wednesday afternoon (the day before Thanksgiving). I just had another excellent run-in with the guys who work at this car wash. Long story short I left my credit card here. The guy who helped me get my car detailed, Demetrius, left me several messages and was in constant communication with me about the credit card (I didn't even notice it was missing until he called me). He even went so far as to put it in his safe at home for over a week until I could get back up north and get my card back. Trustworthy, kind, and excellent work. If you're looking for someone to detail/wash your car, this is the spot!

I am very impressed with the cost, attention to detail, and quick turn around. I showed up just after 3pm and was on my way by 3:45pm paying $20 for a basic wash that is more like a detail. They hand washed and dried the car, cleaned the wheels, put armor-all on the tires, wiped down/dusted the interior, vacuumed, cleaned all of the windows inside & out, and they got my all-weather floor mats so clean they look like I just got them. Normally I'd spend $11 just to drive-thru a touch-less wash and then I'd still have to clean the wheels, hand dry, and do everything else these guys did for $9 more dollars and in half the time it would take me to do it. I'll be coming back here for sure.

They did a great job with my 2015 Corolla. I asked if they were going to charge me extra for the pet hair. They said $10 for a total of $30 (inside and out). It took them an hour an a half because they were just starting a car before mine. There is a waiting place with air conditioner and plenty of food trucks close by. At the end, when they gave me the car, one of the employees insisted a little too much on a tip. I did not appreciate that because on top of that he was asking for $5. I will go back because they did a good job and they were honest about their prices, something that is hard to find in Austin's carwashers.

Edit: my windshield is also full of small scratches now. I think they used a dirty rag and dug into the glass. This is really disappointing. For $195 for detailing a Mazda 3 I expected better. I keep finding spots they missed in the interior and I had to ask them to clean the cup holders because they didn't do so originally. They couldn't get the glass clean and I'm having to clean it again myself to get the streaks out. They also took 4 1/2 hours after telling me it would take 2 or 3. They were very friendly and told me to come back if I needed something fixed, but for the price the quality wasn't worth it.

Did a pretty good job. Just wish there was a better waiting area than outside in the heat. The cleaners seemed to have missed very obvious spots with white wax left over, but the owner was pretty thorough with the final check and got them to clean it all up. Would also have liked of they am least washed down the entire tire not just the side (looks a bit glaring when the side is shiny black but the treads are really dirty.) All in all, good clean for the price and hassle free with room for some quality improvements. Will come back for another wash and wax.

I have been going to Mister Car Wash for years and happen to be in the area of Nice - N - Clean today and thought I'd try it out. LET ME TELL YOU... they have completely won me over and I will gladly go out of my way to see them again. Because of my business, I have dogs in my car all the time (and on my clothes) and when they finished vacuuming my car, I didn't see one single dog hair in it. Seriously! They took their time and paid attention to detail. The owner and his employees are really nice as well. I think I found my new car detailing place!

When I picked up my car after being detailed, I immediately noticed spots that were missed (between the seat and center console, door compartments, under seats). I asked them if they could go back through and clean all of them, and they happily agreed. I hopped in my car and left when they were finished, but noticed when I got home that they didn't clean most of the places I asked them too, and initially said they would clean in the first place. Pretty weak job for $70. I could've done the same at the self service car wash for 5 bucks.

They did a decent job cleaning the interior, not super thorough but cannot complain for the price. The exterior on the other hand is now marred with swirls and streaks. It's obvious on the side body panels when light hits the paint. Almost as if someone took very fine grit sandpaper to the finish in certain areas, very noticeable when viewed at an angle in the sun. It's a new car, under a year old I've owned from day 1, so it's not a case of mistakenly blaming the wash. Would not use if you car about a swirl free hand wash.

I'm going to say.... I had a bit of sticker shock when I first got to this place. For a full detail, we are talking $250. I'm I a 13 year old car so, nah. I did opt for the $75 package which was STILL twice what I expected to pay. Well.... I got my car back and you would have thought it was a $250 job! Even my friends who dropped me off gasped at how awesome the car looked! I was so thrilled that I tipped $20 on top.of the cost. So worth it. Stellar job! I live in NOLA and will definitely come by again when in ATX!

Edit: The the owner offered a refund but didn’t respond me back when I took the offer. I was going to let it go the owner commented on my post pretending like he never spoke to me RIGHT after he called me pretending to try to make it right and then commented something completely different. Once again, it’s funny how he commented on here after he calls me. Maybe others will have a good experience but this out a bad taste in my mouth. My original posting: Well I paid $150 for a poor job

Pretty disappointed. The seats were shampooed and the floors were vacuumed decently well, but otherwise felt like a rushed, sloppy job. I said I wanted it shampooed, vacuumed, and to get the dirt and buildup removed. I came in toward the end of the day to just get a quote, but the employee said he could get me in immediately which was nice. But if I had known it would be such a poor job I wouldn’t have done it right then, and I definitely wouldn’t have paid $155.

I've tried all of the full-service carwashes in Austin and this place is far and away the best. They Clean it the best and their prices are among the best. You don't need to point out areas, because they don't miss any. And, they are located just east of 35 in Central Austin. It's a small operation that has been here for quite a while, so they don't move cars through as fast as the big shops along the highway, but give them a chance. You won't be disappointed!

LOVED the combo of personalized service at a great price! We have two kids and I really wanted help cleaning out their seats for all that under-car-seat-gunk. Rather than force me into an all out detail package, Nice - N - Clean listened to what I wanted and targeted exactly what I was hoping they'd do. This meant I wasn't paying for extra stuff that I didn't want, so they come out very well priced! We'll absolutely be back, thank you Nice - N - Clean!!

Absolutely amazing experience here. People who write bad reviews are the same people that write bad reviews on restaurants that actually take the time to deliver good fresh food rather than a mediocre meal fast. Nice N clean car wash does take their time with the detail, but ITS FOR GOOD REASON! By far the cleanest my car has ever been. If you want a fast car wash go do it yourself, if you want a full quality detail, this place is the spot!

I’m disappointed to have to write this review because my previous car washes here were good. But today I arrived before 3p and they were closed despite their posted hours having them open until 5:30p. One of the employees told me it was a slow day, so someone made the decision to shut down. A better alternative would have been to send some employees home early while remaining open. This inconvenience makes it unlikely for me to return here.

Very good service! It’s a high quality hand wash with options of basic or more advanced cleaning. I got a full car wash for 55 $ and I’m really happy with it. It took about 40-50 min, but there are several nice bars and coffee shop around the place. Staff is very nice and polite. For a moment it’s the best hand car wash place I found in Austin so far. You can pay by credit card or cash. P.S. if you have Tesla bring the card.

Great service and great car cleaning. Only cost me $80 for washing, vacuuming, dashboard cleaning etc plus leather treatment and spray wax. The employees were very attentive to make sure they cleaned my car as thoroughly as possible. The employee (Shaun or Sean) was very helpful and even offered tips on helping maintain the leather. Very happy with my trip there this morning, would highly recommend!

This place is legit and takes a lot of pride in their work. Honestly, they have higher standards than I do and my car always looks like I just bought it after they're done. The folks here are also just super nice and offer really reasonable pricing. A thorough wash and detail takes about 40 minutes and there is a bar right next door where I usually get some work done while I wait.

We called ahead to see if they could do our big freighliner motor coach not a problem. We have paid double for the amazing speed amd service we got. After a 23hr drive from California it was covered it bugs and road grime. In 45min they had it looking perfect easy for big 40ft motor homes and 25ft trailers like ours to pull in. Will definitely use them every trip to austin

These guys are great. I brought my friends car in to have the interior cleaned- vacuumed and wiped down and they had no problem working with my budget since I didnt want a full detail. When I came in, there were a few cars already being worked on but they knew I was in a rush and were able to squeeze me into their queue. Very friendly, I would definitely come back.

"If we see it, we'll get it" as he was gently scraping off old paint from my window that has been there for two years. This place is great!! I've paid waaayyyyyy more for this type of service. I got there first thing this morning and it took them about 40 minutes but well worth the wait. I was able to walk around the neighborhood and get coffee.

This place is freaking incredible. I literally just spent the last 2 days (over 16 hours) in the car with my cat and dog. When I left nice and clean, my car looked like I just drove it off the sales floor. I cannot say enough great things about this place. It takes a minute but totally worth the wait. It had probably been 4 or 5 years since my Mini Cooper had more than a basic wash and the amazing folks at Nice - N - Clean made it look brand new! There's not a spec of dust or dog fur left inside and it shines inside and out! I just can not say enough good things! If you need a detail Nice - N - Clean is where you must go!

If I’m paying for a car wash, I like to get my money’s worth, and that’s what I get here every time. I have a dog that sheds like crazy, and they get the hair out no problem, and don’t miss a detail inside or out. Best of all, the staff is super friendly. This is the only car wash I’ll take my truck to.

My coworker referred me to them and they did a great job on my white leather interior plus some tree sap on the outside that I couldn’t get off with normal car washes. They are also very fast and there’s coffee shops and stuff nearby where you can wait

They did a fantastic job with my car. Make sure you have plenty of time as they are a small operation so they can't move cars as quickly as other operations but their attention to detail makes the wait worth it.

My detailing for small vehicle full package was $200. The assembly line style lacks full details. Manager/owner is very friendly. If you want it done right away without an appointment this is the place to go.

Car was very clean. But slow slow slow. Take at least 1 hour. I waited 1:30 minutes and there where only 3 cars ahead of me. Like watching a movie in slow "very" slow motion. What a joke

What an absolute establishment. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Doesn't look like much but looks are certainly deceiving. They deliver quality with true professionalism.

I felt that this place is Expensive compared to others. Service isn’t at the best. After the wash I found some places aren’t cleaned properly or given attention as required.
