Edit as of 8/30/23, just want to again say thank yiu! Rodin is still going strong! He's now 4 years old and of it were for this team he not giving up on him that day, he never would have made it to his first birthday. This hospital and their staff are amazing! I was an emotional wreck. I had just left one hospital where they told me I wouldn't be wrong to consider humanely euthanizing my dog who was diagnosed with a serious case of parvo and their treatment options were out of budget. This team however felt very differently! The vet didn't think euthanasia was the right option and said she sees no reason why we shouldn't give him a chance! The staff was very patient with me as they taught me how to administer a SubQ and the shots. It was a third of the cost as the other place. They didn't make me feel rushed to make any decisions. Most importantly they didn't give up on him! They even called this morning to see how he is doing and I am overjoyed to announce that already he is improving! He walks around more, drinks water on his own again, and unlike yesterday today I had to wrestle him a little to administer the meds! You have an amazing team! Rodin and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

After an unsatisfactory experience with another local groomer I decided to try Norterra. We have had good experience with the associated veterinarians at another facility and the research I did evidenced high ratings for their grooming. Specifically that they carry certifications which you seldom find in local mom and pop groomers. I have 2 huskies which have been regularly groomed for many years but the male is a whiner when he is bathed. Not aggressive. Just a whiner. Some groomers cannot handle the noise. I spoke with Bri, the groomer at Norterra, both before and after their first session. She demonstrated all the qualities that I would expect from a professional. Good communication, patience, confidence. I recommend her without reservation. Sue is the manager of the grooming side and based on my initial experience runs a good operation. One other note. Bri had scheduled only my dogs that morning so there were no other distractions. This was not an assembly line process. My dogs got her individual and undivided attention. I was impressed with her consideration.

I decided to start bringing my small terrier to this facility as it’s conveniently located close to my neighborhood. After bringing my small dog in for a few visits for both check up and grooming, I’ve concluded that this is the place he has gotten the best care. I took him in as my own when he was a bit older so he’s got a little separation anxiety and reactivity issues we’re working on. But, everyone that has dealt with him here has treated him very well opposed to other vet and grooming facilities I’ve taken him to. His groomer here is literally the best he’s ever had and the front office ladies are always so friendly and helpful when I’m calling or dropping in. It’s very appreciated!

I was able to schedule a same day appointment for my dog. The front desk staff was very friendly and so was the clinical staff. I got in and out, they were able to diagnose the situation with my dog in a timely manner. Major (dog) had crazy diarrhea and was swollen all on the side of his face. They got him on some meds and he’s been doing so much better since then. Major is an 80 pound pitbull and the doctor and the vet tech were both on the floor with him. They of course tested him out before they did so, but after they got to see he was OK they were very personable with him. They gave me a courtesy text the next day to follow up to see how he was doing, I really appreciated that.

Never use this facility. We bought the puppy package and the receptionist scheduled our three separate vaccination appointments. I go to our 3rd and final appointment today, I arrived at 4:55 for our 5pm appointment. I was stuck in the room for 20 minutes and finally went out to ask what the delay was. Someone comes in a few moments later and said that they made an error by scheduling the appointment a week early and asked me to come back another day. GTFOH. Avoid this place at all costs. They’re unorganized. We have a 2 year old dog and when she was a puppy we had a major complaint too. The vet called us back and apologized, acknowledging that they were wrong.

We just moved from IL to AZ. We elected to see Dr. Horvath for a wellness checkup. We had a great experience with Dr. Horvath and the Vet Tech, Ashlee. They took the time to answer all of our questions. I especially liked how they took the time to engage with my dog. It was a very thorough exam. The office is very well run. The office communication and follow-up via my preferred communication method, texting, was outstanding. They sent me reminder messages about my upcoming appointment. Then followed up the next day after the appointment to see if I had any questions.

Everyone I encountered was so nice and kind! Dr. Michelle and the gentleman who did my paperwork and took Pooh Bear for his testing were both very professional and took my concerns seriously. I feel that I was listened to and that everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. I can tell that Dr. Michelle loves what she does and helping animals feel better. They were also very accommodating with the payment plan options. I will 100% be making this my pets new vet!

My very difficult chihuaha Bell had mouth surgery Friday. Dr. Horvath called me several times during the procedure to update me and keep me informed. This type of care is so rare these days and I am so thankful to all the wonderful staff at this office. We have been bringing our fur babies here for 16 years and have always had great care and service. Dr. Horvath and Dr. Gold are amazing and all the office staff and vet techs are caring and kind.

Dr. Gold and Megan were amazing. They listened and explained everything very well. My vet unexpectedly closed without warning and I had to find someone new. They took great care of our little guy and we're so pleased with the treatment and care. I would recommend them to anyone who loves their pets and expects the best care and attention to detail. I'm looking forward to his first grooming appointment there as well. Opie and I thank you!

Unfortunately I had to put one of my cats down. They were able to squeeze me in right away. And they don't charge astronomical fees like most places do. But their compassion was better than any place I've dealt with. When I walked in they had a little bed made up for her. And the also include the paw print in their pricing where most places charge additional for it. They were extremely friendly and caring. I highly recommend these guys.

The staff at Norterra Animal Hospital is fabulous! I’ve been bringing both my black labs here for 5 years and I can’t recommend them enough. One of my dogs has severe allergies and frequents NAH for injections and treatment. We are always welcomed by friendly faces, the doctors are professional, show care and compassion, and most importantly, love my dogs. My dog gets so excited the second we park the car!

I’ve been here twice now but my mom has been bringing our other dog for a year now. Both doctors I’ve dealt with have been great. They answer all my questions and give me the care I like to see. The two-three techs we’ve seen with the doctors have been great too. Only con is that they can be hard to get into. Thankfully, when I called I got lucky they had a cancellation so they could get us in right away.

Wow! This is THE vet to take your pet(s) to where ever you live in the Valley!! I am SO pleased with Norterra Animal Hospital. They are all so nice and very professional as well! I brought my puppy in for his initial exam, shots, de-worming, etc. on the referral of my neighbor, who I trust. Now I've referred my daughter and son-in-law and they're using this vet too!! Prices are VERY reasonable!!!

Dr. Gold is amazing!!! As soon as he walks into the examination room he makes you feel welcomed and at ease. You can tell he cares immensely for his patients. He takes his time, explains everything with detail and is not in a rush to go to the next patient. That is not easy to find nowadays. So thank you Doctor Gold for being such a wonderful veterinarian!!

The BEST vet ever. I am very partial to Dr. Horvath as I have been bringing our pets to her for over 20 years. LOVE her!! But, when she is not there I feel very comfortable seeing the other Vets as well. Front office staff is always so kind and helpful. Ms. Miller at the front desk was friendly and very nice. When I was brought back to an exam room, the young woman who helped first was very nice and calm. The doctor came in shortly thereafter and was absolutely wonderful. Her calm demeanor and understanding of my dogs issue was refreshing. This place is not close to mine but I will go back in the future.

This place is the absolute best! I’ve only had extraordinary service here from all members of their staff. I have a reactive pup and they do their best to make her feel safe and comfortable! Veronica is the absolute best! My reactive pup feels so safe with her, she does an excellent job as is so kind!
