In a word: negligent Had my 8 week old puppy complete a course of antibiotics for a UTI. Was requested to bring a urine sample in post completion of the course. Did so, and expressed great concern for my dog as her symptoms had resumed and was becoming lethargic and had a loss of appetite. 6 hours after dropping off the sample received a call from a vet I’ve never spoken to stating her infection was continuing, but it simply must be an anatomical concern or defect. Refused to review puppy, refused to prescribe any further antibiotics if not for symptom management and comfort, told me I needed to source an ultrasound for her myself “if I wanted to go down that route” told me to “consider her future” Only willing to dispense “comfort medication” Essentially suggesting my dog should be euthanised. After a second opinion and a stint in vet ICU, turns out it is just veterinary negligence. She has no deformities. Essentially her antibiotic course was not long enough or high enough dose for her weight. But that’s something that could be easily corrected with further antibiotics… or a review from a vet. Complaint has been lodged with the vetboard and will be considering civil action against Dr Verdin.

Caring, nurturing, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our puppies actually love going to the Vet!! Duty of care, non existent. Called to make an appointment as my dog's leg had been ripped open and required stitches. As I have never visited the surgery before I was told best they could do was to see me in a weeks time. Told me to call an emergency vet clinic. Poor form! Instead called Warrandyte Vet who was more than accommodating and slotted me right in. Would not recommend.

I've been taking my dogs there for quite awhile and have always had excellent service. When it was time for my old dog their vet came out and was 100% compassionate and was an immense help. My current dog has had a few major operations and again they were fantastic, in both caring for her while she was there and later on during her recovery. Cannot recommend them highly enough

Amazing and outstanding staff, our big boy bullet (dog), has had issues going to the vet, as soon as we get there he refuses to enter, sometimes get out of the car . I love the way they approach the situation and have a giggle with me . The team are continuing to support our fur babies after been there . I will only take them to this vet or there after hours care place .

Everyone here is so sweet and friendly to all the animals that come through. My dogs get so of treats and pats here that they get excited when we pull up. I got my pup spayed here, and when I went to pick her up, she was sitting with the ladies behind the desk. It was so nice to see she wasn't alone or scared.

Went for the first time because the pup had some 'itchy botyom issues'! The vet was caring but direct, helpful, but not intrusive - basically everything you want in a vet. And she was obviously gentle with him because he didn't complain or wriggle at all! We will be back!

Caring, before appointment time, thorough, gentle with Jo my rescue feline who is nervous in the extreme. Dr Haylee even rang a few days after our visit enquiring how Jo was. Will go back if and when required without hesitation. Easy parking also.

had the most amazing experience by phone today. very apologetic they couldn't fit our dog in to treat a skin reaction. but talked me thru all the over counter options in the most helpful and caring manner. absolutely brilliant

Had a great visit with my reactive dog. Staff were very understanding and accommodating to our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure they were able to get blood for his testing and we got the meds we need. Thank you!
