WARNING.... Be careful when going to Northgate dental. I've been going to Northgate dental for years I was under Dr Joel he is an amazing dentist and I have no negative emotions towards him but as soon as I started going under Dr Hung problems started to occur he put dentures on teeth before doing any fillings that caused my teeth to get damaged one to be shattered and and was left with that shatterwd tooth in my mouth for months because I was no longer a patient of Northgate dental because I was subcontracted to Dr Hung with out even knowing so the owner don't see a reason to step in last time dr parry did he didn't even bother to ask doctor hung about me and what was goin on after 2 months of pain doctor hung phone m in agreed to do work then asked me not to see a lawyer or go to the CDA so he could work comfortable yet I couldn't get the owners to make sure dr hung fallows threw with his plan and now need to find money to restart ball over except I have no teeth now and still lots of work to be done I will be reposting my old reviews people can see the damage that was caused and the state that I'm left in now it'll be up within a few days it'll tag it to this post .... We are human not property I feel pain and my life has been put on hold for almost a year to only be left of worse then when I started I can't even eat now

I had an agressive dentist.Dr.Stephan. Never again. I prefer someone gentle and not sloppy. He kept hitting tools against my teeth.Did not help my cracked tooth at all. Told me he didn't know what would help. He explained that he can not dig around my tooth because it might not help the pain. Like huh? The crack will get bigger if it's not repaired.Didn't even repair my severely sensitive teeth either. The clinic has club music blasting. Like that is not relaxing. It's horrible. Am i at a bar or what?The dental assistant was nice that's about it. I liked this place years ago. I had a nice dentist. Then she left the place.. Not good anymore. Will go somewhere else. Horrible stressful nightmare.gave me severe anxiety.

I've been going to Dr. Bae for as long as I can remember having a dental plan. I moved out of the Northgate area 6 years ago but continue to make the drive from St.Vital for his exceptional service. He is very approachable and knowledgeable and will always discuss my options (ie: cost, longevity, urgency). I feel completely comfortable around him and his staff and I appreciate the friendliness and comfort I experience with his team (his hygienists are SO nice!) My mouth is a bit of a train wreck and I completely trust his advice and work. Also, love the otter painting above the counter in the dental. Nice touch ;)

Son woke up with a swollen cheek. Without an appointment, the staff at Northgate Dental took my call, got us in and seen by Dr. Perry Lapac (sp) in very short order. Everyone from the front admin staff, to the dental assistant and ultimately the doctor were very pleasant to deal with. Highly covid cautious and extremely professional, I found the office welcoming and safe (which is a difficult balance to achieve). They dealt with my boy with the tenderness he needed, but professional care he also required. I was very impressed with the entire experience.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT PLACE TO GO FOR DENTAL WORK! Staff is friendly, facility is clean, lots of rooms, Dr. Danny Bae is TOP NOTCH with his patients, fast, professional, caring, and it's clear to see he loves his profession! They are open weeknights and weekends to accommodate everyone's schedules, direct billing to insurance companies and courtesy calls days in advance to remind/confirm your appointment. They also take emergency dental work calls. Awesome all around! I'm truly happy to have found Northgate Dental and Dr. Bae.

Not only they are good on what they do but very friendly as well right from the front desk up to the Dentist. Our experience with Northgate Dental Centre is truly amazing and will for sure recommend to our friends and relatives. Dr. Danny Bae is very professional and friendly at the same time. I have gone here for almost ten years now, after having dissatisfying experiences at other places. Dr. Danny has been top-notch, and had no problem dealing with a bunch on dental work that originated in another country. Northgate is really good with keeping on top of your appointments, calling to remind you that they are coming up (which has saved me from missing appointments!). And as an added bonus, Dr. D is top-notch with his sports talk too!

I’ve been a patient here for the past 10 years and can’t imagine going anywhere else. Everyone from the administration, dental assistant and dentists are very friendly and approachable. I like the fact do reminder calls and texts to make sure I don’t miss my appointments. They adhere to my scheduled appointment times and don't have to wait. My whole family comes here and they always positive experiences. I highly recommend coming here.

I went and saw Dr. Bae for the first time during the holidays to have a chipped tooth fixed. I was so happy that I got a very quick appointment! This was my first time going to Dr. Bae - he was warm, welcoming and made me comfortable with the process of fixing my tooth. I honestly think my tooth looks better than it did before it got chipped! Highly recommend! Staff was super nice and I felt very safe in the clinic during a pandemic.

Dr. Danny Bae is the best dentist I have been to. I moved away from Winnipeg but still drive back because he is the only dentist that I trust and am comfortable with. He is smart, gifted at what he does, accommodating, and most importantly caring. If I flinch, he stops to ask if I'm ok and give more freezing, if necessary. My kids and I will always come to him. Both reception and the dental assistants are kind and competent too!

Been a patient of Dr Mark for over 30 years now, since I was a child and they were at the old location, and I have no complaints. The staff is always really nice and accommodating to my needs when I need to see someone. And Dr Mark has always looked out for me. I've also seen Dr Joe the odd time and a couple of others over the years and all the hygienists as well. Everyone is pretty nice.

UPdate: yesterday, I had the worst toothache of my life. I couldn't stop crying and behaving irrationally. Dr. Bae took me, without an appt, and took care of me right away. If you are at all scared of the dentist, see Northgate! I have always had major anxiety about dentists. Dr. Danny Bae and the whole staff are so caring and respectful. I recommend Northgate dental to everyone!!

Dr. Bae is incredible!! Not only has he taken great care of my teeth, but also he is fun to speak with at every appointment. Me and my kids see Dr.Bae and he is really great with kids!! It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of dental care. I highly recommend becoming his patient!

Northgate Dental has been our long time family dental clinic. We refer all our family and friends to this clinic and we hear nothing but great experiences. They have handled dental anxiety, major and routine dental work with ease. We have met all Drs and everyone has been great! The staff is amazing as well :)

Dr. Mark Semchyshyn is the best dentist I've ever had experience with. He does absoluly fantastic work and really cares about the well being of his patients. He takes the time and care to minimize if not completly eliminate the pain caused by procedures. This clinic also has good staff and reasonable pricing.

Ive had the opportunity to had my teeth cleaned at this dental office. Very great staff and very professional. If you ever had questions, they had an answer. Dr. Hong explained what he was doing next and explained the purpose of it. Very great place if you are looking for good hours and friendly staff.

Staff are highly knowledgeable and accommodating. Dr Perry is very approachable and genuinely wants to help. I like that my hygienist doesn't talk much during procedures so I'm not awkwardly trying to respond with my mouth wide open. If you're looking for a new dentist I highly recommend this clinic.
