After taking a trip to the mountains I knew my brakes needed replaced and probably rotors. I usually do my own brakes but don’t have the time. I decided to give my old employer a chance (Carmax) because I knew the mechanics there and trust them. I called but they couldn’t get to in for a month. I couldn’t wait that long. Googled for places near me and called several local shops and non could get me an appointment in a timely manor. I noticed Nubrakes was a service that came to you. After calling they said they could get me in the next day. I was surprised because it was a Saturday. I was even more surprised when they gave me pricing. It was more than reasonable for them coming to me. I was sure it would be more expensive. I schedule the appointment. When the technician arrived he agreed I needed new brakes and rotors on the front and back. He got right to work and was very fast. On the last wheel he noticed that my brake line at the caliper had a leak. He messaged to see what the pricing was and if they could get the part. They couldn’t get the part locally it had to be order from the dealer. It took them another week to get my car back to normal but we’re in contact all week with up dates. They came back out replaced the line once they had the part. Overall I would say this is a very good business model for people who can’t take time off to get there brakes done. The company and technicians were available, fair, professional, and good communicators during the process. There is no doubt I would use them again.

I could not be happier with choosing NuBrakes for my brakes and rotors!! They saved me so much time and money!! My Jeep dealership is 45 minutes away and told me I was going to need new rear brakes and I knew I did because of how they felt(pulsating while breaking and grinding). Highly recommend NuBrakes! Scheduling is easy, and communication is clear and prompt. Loved that we received and estimate prior to the appointment. Our mechanic arrived when scheduled and took the time to access our situation and give recommendations. He was honest and let us know that our brakes were safe and still had at least 6 months life left. There was no pressure to change brakes at that time. After further consideration, we are going to reschedule the service because this is the car our daughter takes to college and her schedule over the next school year is uncertain. I used before and was very very pleased, so this time was very frustrating . I think it boils down to the tech just not wanting to be at work. He left before I could get back to office even though talked to him when 3 miles away. He left and said he could not get wheel off due to a lugnut. However, with bare minimum tools I was able to remove the wheel with no effort, I ended up doing my own brakes this time. Techs should not be in such a rush that they struggle to do something so basic, and so easy. I usually never give bad reply, but this tech not being able to get job done ended up costing me very much and I don't mean financially.

I will never use a any other auto mechanic service ever again - ask for BILLY, you won’t regret it!! He was everything a proper mechanic should be: on time, thorough, and went above and beyond to explain every detail of what he was doing and what to expect afterward. Not once did he try to upsell us on unnecessary services or add-ons, pressure or rush us in any way. All from the comfort of my own home (and a fraction of the price compared to going to the dealership)! I had a great experience. I was able to schedule same day, and the person arrived within the time frame quoted. He, Clint, was amazing, really easy to talk to, nice, and very straightforward. He was done within 30 minutes and I was able to pay with an online link. Great concept. I ran across NuBrakes while Google searching brake pad replacement in my area. Not leaving my truck or waiting for hours at a repair shop really appealed to me. They come to you. Overall experience was good. Only thing I would change is the policy of not knocking on the door. I missed the call/text letting me know they had arrived and they left before I realized I missed them. Fortunately they were quick on the reschedule and my vehicle is back on the road. I can’t say enough good things about this business. We had the brakes and rotars replaced in our Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep dealership quoted a little over four hundred dollars more and Firestone quoted a little over a hundred dollars more. Both places were weeks out before we could get our vehicle serviced. This is like Magic. The dealership quoted me 1100 for new drums and pads on my VW Atlas. I googled... nubreaks came up first... quoted me 700 and could do it the next day. We had to go through two warranty claims and realized the squeaking was due to our car needing upgraded equipment due to its weight. The warranty process was great, and NuBrakes covered the upgraded equipment under the warranty. Clint was our service provider and was fantastic!
