Growing up in Southern California, High school football was legendary, and still is, in my opinion, top in the nation! Mater Dai football, Long Beach poly, Oaks christian, Saint John Bosco, Palo Verde high school home of the yellow jackets, etc... high school football stadium are like, mid major university football stadiums, but this place, had that feeling and Ora about it and in all of places, just outside Albuquerque new Mexico. Never would have imagined!!!!
We watched several football games this fall at the Nusenda Community Staduim. It is truly a beautiful stadium and is well kept. I noticed the "crew" of young people cleaning up all the trash left behind by spectators after the games. It's a shame to see that not everyone shows respect for a gift that is provided for sports and other community events. Glad to see those who were there cleaning up the grounds. They deserve accolades for their actions.
The stadium was really nice. But your policies for what's allowed and not allowed is very inconsistent! Needless to say we were not happy campers about that. Reason being, you could not bring outside drinks you could not bring pop up coverings, and cannot leave or return without paying again. When some some people coming in with pop-up coverings, and outside drinks But the stadium was really nice.
Lady collecting the money for entry was very rude when I tried to pay with cash. They only take credit/debt cards. I went to hand her the money, and she rudely says we only take cards and taps to a sign on the window. The stadium is nice, but the turf needs to be replaced, and they should paint some of the local high school logos. Painting some of the concrete walls would help the appearance.
The facility is gorgeous. It is lit up like its daytime during night games. The crowd are always really amped up. I worked in turf maintenance and am aware of what it takes to establish this level perfection on these grounds. I don't know who is taking care of this place but I would love to tell them what an outstanding job they've done. Its absolutely breathtaking. Well done
This is the nicest Stadium I've been to in the area. Everything from track, football, baseball... the snack bar was ran by high school students for high school football games. Make sure you take money with you if you want to have something to eat or drink because the prices are absolutely silly! The bathrooms are very clean an updated. Security and parking were great.
The Nusenda Community Stadium is a very nice place to enjoy school sporting events. I've been to several track and football games here and it's always fun and entertaining. However, I think with all the wasted space, they could have created two lanes entering and exiting this facility hence the 4 not 5 stars.
This is a beautiful and well laid out sports complex. I like that it was out of the city, the views were amazing. Everything in the facility, and even in the parking lots, was very clean and well maintained. The staff were super friendly. I have no complaints! …
This is a great Stadium Complex, I take my kids every Friday no matter who's playing. It's great to still see passion in the sport before money gets involved. Come show some support for the kids and the school's, they are our future after all …
Come here often to watch grandson play YALF football. Parking is difficult not enough to accommodate players and families. Be prepared to park and walk a distance to the fields. Public restrooms closed. Port a potties available with a long
It's a beautiful stadium! I was happy to see people actually walking to the garbage can and throwing away all their trash. Hopefully, the people of Albuquerque will keep it up and city will maintain. Looking forward to the next game.
This might well be the coolest High School football stadium in the state of New Mexico right now! A lot of great spectator seating. The complex as a whole is amazing. 5 baseball fields a track stadium and the football stadium.
When APS had this place designed, was shade even a consideration? I mean seriously, the cost would have been minimal and provide some relief to a place that is a giant concrete pit with some steel, both of which retain heat.
It's a nice stadium. in happy they built it up in the westgate/Westside area at the edge of town. Great to see our community and it's children are taking advantage of this stadium and the opportunity to compete.
A beautiful and well managed stadium, with easy access and a large parking lot. This is a prefect spot for a high school football game, or any other event needing a great field and large grandstand.
Concession was super long. Intercom kept cutting out. Would not want to be around all the concrete on a hot day. It is a nice huge stadium however, plenty of room. Did not go into restrooms.
It is a nice venue for a football game at night. During the day, there is not much shade. So, if you are coming for a day game, bring a hat and sunscreen.
Nice stadium! Clean bathrooms. They did not accept cash though which is weird for a stadium sponsored by a Credit Union. No ATM really close. Bring cash.
I love this stadium, it's always so clean. Great views and huge playing field.. Dislikes: No outside food or drink and no sunflower seeds …
We are lucky to have a gorgeous stadium like this in Albuquerque, but especially lucky on the west side. Beautiful stadium and we'll maintained.
Clean… but every event there done by APS is managed so poorly it distracts from the event. Entry, payment, and running the event.
It's really nice. My daughter is a cheerleader for Rio Grande H.S so we come to see her chear & to watch the football game.
Excellent stadium. Modern and comfortable. Would give it 5 stars if filled with fans. Go catch a game. Friday Night Lights!
Beautiful track facility. If they put in a retractable roof for some shade it would be perfect!!! …
The stadium and stuff are very clean the track is also good the football turf could be better though
Best football stadium for our kids. Clean orgaized and plenty of friendly help running facility.
10 year old stadium on the Westside. Good parking lot. Overall pretty basic, but works.
It's set up nice but it needs all the restrooms open. The parking is set up strange.
Very sterile venue, it is not welcoming. There is plenty of parking, however.
Edge of the city stadium. Nice and clean. Very nice for the student athletes
There's really not any shade and the food offered is definitely overpriced
Very nice place had track event loved Sandia mountain views
Great stadium, I would like better concession food...
Really nice venue for football games.
Nice stadium for high school sports
