"The ballpark is one of the best places to watch minor league but I had a bad experience with one of the ushers a horrible person mean rudei t was a afternoon game we had good seats but it was so hot there were two rolls of empty seats in the shade and I asked if my wife and I could sit there in the shade and this guy tried his best to belittle me in front of my wife I'm 66 he might be around my age there was another female usher and another employee they just laughed this guy needs someone to tell him he's not a cop just an usher"
I couldn’t find a way to review the Dions at the Isotopes Field other than going here. On the biggest night of the year for baseball, I along with 11,000 other fans came to watch the Isotopes pull off a great 11-10 victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas. Great game. The worst part of my experience was going to Dions. Of course there lines, as usual, but once we got to the counter, I was surprised they didn’t have items on their menu for sale. For example, it was the bottom of the 4th and they were out of salads. I asked the manager what the deal was, and her reply was, “Should of got here earlier.” I then asked if they had enough flour to keep making pizzas and nobody responded. I bought two pepperoni and green chili pizza slices, but I ended just using them in the box to keep my feet off the ground from getting dirty from the spilt popcorn by my seat. My beer was poured well and the people at the register were nice. If I could go back and chat with the manager in the black shirt, I’d love the chance. If I could change one thing about my experience, it would be that Dions is removed from the park and replaced with a Dog House.
2023-05-05 I flew in from Texas to watch this Isotopes Minor League Baseball game against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. This was a Cinco De Mayo event, and Al Hurricane, Jr. was the concert headliner. After the concert, the game was played. Great stadium! Clean facility, an amazing scoreboard; overall a pleasant experience. My only complaint is the price of concessions. Most food items start around $9...same for drinks. Outrageous :( We dined prior to the game to avoid these exuberant fees. And all of the lines to the concessions were long. Some folks that sat next to us were gone for three innings standing in line for food. Yikes. That being said, I enjoyed the ballpark and the game. There as even a fireworks event post-game. I'll be back again in the future :)
"Take Me Out to the Ball Game": Love the Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park. Bring a date, hang out with the girls or your boys, fun time with the family or just be by yourself in a crowd. Great views, lots of parking, friendly staff, good concession areas. You know you're gonna pay those high food costs so go ahead and add a margarita or ice cold beer to your hot dog, cheeseburger, pizza or chicken tenders meal. Of course no lids so you will spill some of your drink unless you swipe some off the top before attempting to walk. Trust me on this one Orbit, the Isotopes mascot, is highly visible and lots of first responders walking around. All in all, enjoy yourself and the game.
Isotopes park is so much fun - great time for families! Easy to get to, easy to park, fun activities, just a great time all around. You can bring your own things into the park but you must bring them in clear bags! For security you go through metal detectors / scanners when entering the park but it's quick and easy. Seating is clearly labeled and easy to find. Get there a little early. As with any sports event food and snacks can get expensive very quick so if you're bringing the whole family plan accordingly. Kids will love it, but tickets in advance! Love coming here.
The ballpark is one of the best places to watch minor league but I had a bad experience with one of the ushers a horrible person mean rudei t was a afternoon game we had good seats but it was so hot there were two rolls of empty seats in the shade and I asked if my wife and I could sit there in the shade and this guy tried his best to belittle me in front of my wife I'm 66 he might be around my age there was another female usher and another employee they just laughed this guy needs someone to tell him he's not a cop just an usher
Nicely maintained facility with helpful and friendly people. Field lighting was great. The nets protecting the fans from foul balls were unobtrusive and well positioned. The scoreboard is very informative and is a great display. The food vendors had a good variety of choices. You must use a card for all purchase transactions. No cash is accepted. Carried items must be in clear bags or totally visible for security purposes. Parking is $7 per car. Crosswalks are well patrolled. Good access for wheelchairs.
Went to see a NM United game and it was fabulous! Started at 7, so most of the seats were in the shade, no matter where your assigned seats were...even if the sun was on you, it quickly set, and the desert air keeps you cool. Since the stadium isn't too large, long looking lines went quickly and service was friendly! the cheering fans are great fun - reminiscent of larger chanting stadiums worldwide :) Dion's Pizza is where it's at! The views of the Sandia Mountains are stunning - Go Isotopes! Go United!
This stadium offers all the fun of a major league park with just the right small-town warmth. Though it has the usual ballpark food, it also offers vegan stir-fried noodles made with tofu and some New Mexican favorites. Easy parking, only $7.00. But be prepared to spend over $11.00 for a beer and $30 and up for a ball cap. There are no bad seats and some seating on the “berm” allows for blankets and family picnics. Wondering why you think you’ve heard of the Isotopes before? Are you a Simpsons fan?
The baseball atmosphere is great! And could be a 4.5 star if based on that only, but you have to take in account the food and beverage side too. The ballpark pricing is pricey. $5 for a 12oz bottle of water, $12.50 for a 12oz beer, and $5 for a hotdog is a little steep since you’re not allowed to bring in any outside food or drink (soda, Gatorade, etc). You are allowed water but the seal can’t be broken. No Cash accepted. Has to be plastic or digital wallet for payment.
Great experience for a summer evening in Albuquerque. I surprised my wife with tickets when our plans for her birthday fell through, and we had a great time. Parking and walking in are much easier than a full MLB game. Tickets are much more reasonable, though food and beverages are still high. One note is that during the summer, the home side seems to have much more shade than the guest side.
Nice new clean ballpark. Way overpriced vendors, otherwise great place to go on a date, take the family, or just catch some good ol fashioned baseball. Event staff is usually friendly and not too controlling as far as where your at in the place watching the game. You Can move around ll areas of the field to have aaa different experience while watching the game
I went to an Isotopes game this weekend and had a blast. Since I'm reviewing the park, parking was easy, entry to the park was rather quick and very safe (metal detectors going in). The park is small enough to easily navigate the concourse. Good food variety. The freshly squeezed lemonade was great. Also, the banana foster was great too.
Probably the best minor league baseball stadium that we have been to - with an amazing view of the mountains over center field. The Simpsons theme was well done.. parking was $7 in the adjacent lots.. and we received free tickets from our Smith's grocery receipt for spending over $75 - good for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday games.
Pretty typical baseball stadium for minor league baseball. The seats are a but small and seem jammed in. We were shoulder to shoulder with no arm space. (Hence the 4 stars rather than 5.) They do have fun games in between some innings. The food is good. Clear bags and credit cards only. Overall, we have had a couple good experiences.
Never been to a day game. It was fun and more fun because we were on a field trip. Be prepared to bring sealed water bottles, plenty of sunscreen, and a hat. I've seen some umbrellas, wish I took mine. And the whole place is cashless, cards only. I heard theres a place you can turn your cash in to topes tokens for like purchases.
I'm not an expert on AAA ballparks, but I enjoyed this one. It has easy access, easy exits, comfortable chairs, lots of ballpark food (exorbitantly priced, of course)... I was surprised they didn't have a play-by-play announcer, but maybe that's standard at AAA ballparks. All in all, the park made it easy to have a good time.
A good Triple-A park that has been kept in nice condition. There's nothing particularly unique about it, compared to other minor-league ballparks, but it's a good place for a night out with family or friends. I wish that there had been ice cream helmet sundaes available; the concessions staff felt bad about it, too.
Even though Isotopes lost, it was a great game. My first Triple A game. I liked that there were way more hits than a MLB game. Smallish crowd. One thing I missed from Camden Yards (O's) was no Cracker Jack, ie caramel popcorn. As the song goes, "take me out to the ball game, buy me some peanuts and cracker jack...)
Had my client appreciation party there in the "Old No. 7" suite and it was a blast. With little effort as a business owner I was able to coordinate a party with minimal effort. Jason the party planner, Nick LaBue the VIP and Patrick the GM were awesome. Our service staff was impeccable and we had a flawless party.
The ballpark was excellent, and our seat attendant was very friendly. There was a slight 2-hour rain delay, and the area under the concourse was a bit crowded. Especially during the rain and lightning. I enjoyed the atmosphere and my time there, and everytime I'm in Albuquerque I go to a game if I can.
Beautiful ballpark for the Colorado Rockies' AAA affiliate minor league baseball team. Lots of family activities to do here in case the game isn't interesting. As with most stadiums, there are paid lots for parking close by, but if you know your way around, you can park for free in specific areas.
The park is clean and easy to navigate. Staff are mostly friendly. It can be difficult to find the type of food that one may want as menus are not posted in an easily seen space, causing people to stop and then cause the walkway to back up. There are options for kids with the playground area.
The stadium has nice space for minor league baseball fans! But being there with almost 16,000 other fans is crowded. There were lines but the workers handled them well. No extremely long waits in any line. The views are great while the game is being played. Always enjoy coming to the games!
Overpriced food and overall Isotopes fans are beyond rude just like their team! I am a proud LV AVIATORS fan and when I was cheering on my team I was constantly heckled by your fans. I won’t be coming back. I’ll start watching my team online for a lower cost. Also Cole Tucker YOU SUCK!
A great family experience. Lots of food choices, friendly helpful staff, comfortable seats, lots of bathrooms. We always enjoy the fireworks displays and the opportunity for kids ages 5-12 to run the bases after the games. Entertainment throughout the game is great too.
I haven't been here in ages. My mom, niece, nephews and I had a great time. I didn't realise how expensive the tickets are since the pandemic though. If you have a chance try the BBQ nachos from Santa Fe Grill. You won't be disappointed …
Had a wonderful time at the park. Didn't get the win but the atmosphere was amazing. The El Jimador margaritas are delicious! Dions was fresh and fast! Only negative is they don't have straws to stir your cocktails. Just sneak some in your boots!
Great game. Long line to get in. The seats on southeast side and grass area are in direct sun so recommend sunscreen and umbrella until sun sets behind building. Food lines get long if you don't get there early. Clear bags only and empty or
The Isotope's Field never seems to disappoint. It is a great place for friends, families, and New Mexicans to come together to enjoy baseball and other fun activities. I look forward to coming here at least a couple of times a season.
So expensive for anything here seats are to close together and dirty it's going down hill it seems they charging for parking now 7 dollars!! So you can walk a half mile to stupid stadium to watch them lose. Sure miss the good ol dukes
Wednesday August 16, 2023 was East San Jose Elementary night. We had such a great time! We were all treated wonderfully and given complimentary hotdogs, chips and soda. Our Grandchildren had a blast! Thank you for wonderful memories!
I miss the kiosk where I used to get the Hebrew National hot dogs. I like the new clocks to speed up the game. Enjoyed the game on a beautiful day. I hope the Isotpes will consider having a few more weekday day games next season.
Great day for baseball!!! Being at the ballpark with family and friends is such a great way to close out the day. Staff was more than welcoming and ready to help. Great sales on some items. The food was plentiful. Play ball!!!!
Great atmosphere and I loved the game but everything was so overpriced and with the current economy who can really afford a $10 drink!? Maybe try fixing your prices and you will get more visitors and in the end make more profit
Looking for to tomorrow's game July 30, 2022. The Isotpes will be playing with there green Chile jerseys. Also Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad will be hosting a silent Auction of items from the tv series .
Loved the park! Kids loved the park! Vendors and a bit pricy, but most events as such are. Ryan Vilade, looked up at us and threw my kiddo a ball. It was pretty awesome considering it was his first game! GO ISOTOPES!!!!
This is an intimate ballpark with great views of the ballgame from most any seat. It features a family friendly atmosphere complete with a kids play area and picnic ground behind the outfield. Definitely worth a visit!
Isotope game was fun and surprisingly not crowded, think people are still afraid to get out. They do require to show your Corvid-19 Vac card or a Negative test 48hrs prior to entering. Great idea makes me feel safer
Pros: Nice, clean, family friendly. Cons: They don't accept cash. Took a family of seven and brought $300 cash for food and drinks. Weird they accept cash tips but no cash purchases. So much for America's pastime.
Had a great time at the Little League baseball banner parade. All the kids had fun, and it was great to see all the little league players on the field happy with their team. The game itself was also a hit.
great view of Sandia Mountains, large parking lots nearby, great selection of food, fun place to be with friends and family. Home of the Albuquerque Isotopes for baseball and New Mexico United for soccer.
Plenty of parking and entry gates had no line. Very, very, very long lines at all concessions by 2nd inning. Hard to navigate the concourse and definitely wasn't going to stand in line for anything.
We love going to games. Even in the rain. Lol. We had great seats and enjoyed our time. I do wish that United could have a real soccer field, but still very entertaining to root on our home team!
Went for the New Mexico United Soccer game. Such a fun experience. Did not know only clear bags until we got there and only cash for some vendors. Otherwise great experience and good food options
Great soccer atmosphere. I was there to watch and root for the visiting team. As a fan I left disappointed but wow what soccer fans for New Mexico United. Already have some great "traditions".
Fantastic place for a ballgame. Miss the Dukes, but the Isotopes are just as great. Helpful & friendly staff, with clean facilities. Great place for a night out with the family. Go Mariachis!
Great experience, expensive food which was expected, credit/debt cards only apple pay works too! We had a fun time even though the Isotopes didn’t win that night. Great merchandise to buy!!!
Love this venue. Not to big, great seats at low price, and all the fun of a family baseball game. I've been to MLB games, and we just love this small town event experience so much more.
Such a fun baseball experience! The food and beer selection is great for a ballpark, and there’s even a small playground and carousel for children. We had such a fun family night
Excellent experience!! Club seats on a promo night. Received a beer "stein" more like a beer mug but a freebie clean bathrooms and great service from all staff members!! …
The ballpark was great and extremely easy to navigate. Be prepared to unzip any compartments on bags at security. Also, on another note, the bathrooms were surprisingly clean.
Great place to watch a baseball game. The parking and all vendors were cashless so make sure to bring a credit card to pay for parking and and drinks, snacks or souvenirs.
We sat down the right field line and behind the plate. Both games were fun. The food was great! The baseball helmet nachos were better than some major league stadiums.
Very nice park! Great food and beer, wish more people would go and support the teams / venue. Prices change from when you're at an isotopes game and NM United game.
A great place to watch a ball game get a bite to eat and spend some time with some friends definitely recommend this place if you come to Albuquerque New Mexico
The best minor league park I've been to. Lots of food and drink options and it's clean. The Simpsons statues around the stands are fun to take pictures with.
Nice park, very clean, and plenty of kids friendly play areas. Of course the food and drinks are over-priced. Overall, it's a nice place to see a ballgame.
Nice and clean. Suggestions would be quick pop-up canopies when in the event of rain. It can get packed under the food court with people getting shelter.
Loved everything about this place. Short distance to parking, easy access to seating, friendly crowd and good food. And the game wasn't bad either.
Went for fireworks. Had handicapped parking & seating for both my husband and I. Great family location, too. Enjoyed the natural "fireworks", too!
I love baseball and this is an amazing place to watch it! Alyssa jonstun is the anthom singer sometimes and she is amazing! I enjoy coming here
I went to a New Mexico United game with my brother. The game was a great experience, and the scenery was gorgeous. The stadium is great.
The seats were good. Park was clean and game was great. From what I saw of stadium the park it would be hard to find a really bad. seat
Always a great experience at the Isotopes baseball park Very friendly and family orientated Definitely something for the kids to enjoy
I loved it here!! This was my first time seeing the Isotopes and we enjoyed ourselves. If you get a chance go, take in a game or two!
Went for the LGBT pride night Double Header. Got a little wet from the rain. We were in handicapped seating, under the big awning.
Great venue! Love the action and activities. The atmosphere was perfect. Parking was hard. No entry without a clear small purse.
What a fun place to take the family! The food is although pricey. $10+ a beer? I thought we were in Albuquerque, not Las Vegas
We have always loved going to the baseball games. There is not a bad seat in this place. And the employees are extremely nice!
Comfortable stadium seating with ample room and convenient holders for drinks. The facilities are clean and we'll tended to.
Always amazing at the game, so far all 6 games we have seen this year were all wins! Goo COCO morales and Tucker!! Go topes!
Had a great time at the game. It was very family oriented. Was good to see kids playing and having fun and Isotopes won
Love seeing United games here! Hope they can get their own soccer stadium soon. Wanting to catch a baseball game soon!
What to say? This place is described as one of the best baseball facilities in the nation. I'm inclined to agree.
We had a GREAT time. The staff was extremely helpful in making both myself and my service dog very comfortable.
Not a bad seat in the house. Hot as all get out, but my wife and I had a great time watching the Topes.
Nice stadium, but it doesn't work for a soccer match. I'm not a fan of the atmosphere/people either.
Lots of fun easy parking tickets on pricey side for what it is, lots of fun events & giveaways
Beautiful stadium, always a great time at the Ball Park. Good food, fun, drink
