I used to love this store. I often got print jobs done here and the entire staff was aways friendly and helpful. Apparently there have been "policy changes" that make this impossible now. When I walked in today, an employee (not print staff) was speaking very condescendingly to a woman who kept saying she wanted to speak with someone on the imaging/print staff. The employee kept telling she was wrong for this and interrogating her what she wanted from them. It was clear he was unable to answer her questions. Then he approached me. I said I had images to print. He said I shouldn't be here and should use their online system. It was so unwelcoming and rude. I explained that I'd like to at least get one print as a "proof", to check things before submitting a large order online. He said "we dont do that". I assured him I wasnt expecting it to be included, I'd pay for it. HE ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME. At this point I'm very uncomfortable with the interaction and say I'm confused what is happening, because I've brought projects here and have never encountered this kind of resistance. Then he interrogates me about my project. I have two images, each with two different size versions, I want multiple copies of each. In other words, four files, each with a different quantity number. "We can't help you with that". That was really astounding, because it's a pretty simple printing project, and I've done similar here many times before. Again I try to address that this interaction seems strange and I'm not sure where I've gone "wrong" in this person's eyes. He says "I'm just trying to answer your questions"...of course I hadn't asked him any questions! He was the one who approached me and began questioning me. My only question is what has changed from the times I've been here before? "Policy". Well, okay then! But I don't think it's appropriate to treat people as if they've done something wrong if they don't magically know about your policy change before they walk in the door. So, there's the new policy: no help from print staff, no walk-ins, no different quantity copies per file. Why bother?

My wife had a shockingly bad experience today at this Office Depot in Seattle. After searching stores throughout Western Washington, she finally found the Epson photo scanner she'd been shopping for at the Office Depot on Airport Way in Seattle. We live far from the store. She called and asked to have the scanner reserved through the day today until she was able to pick it up. The staff promised to do that. She tried to buy it while she was on the phone, in fact, but they would not let her. Today she drove the long distance from northeast King County to the store in south Seattle. When she got there, a store employee informed her that although her name had been placed on the scanner, it had been sold to someone else a little earlier. As a result, she wasted a two-hour round trip and left the store empty-handled. The employee who talked to her did not apologize or offer an equivalent machine: His attitude seemed to be "So what, lady." We have been Office Depot customers for many years, and we have never had anything like this ever happen at any store. Her treatment was rude, inconsiderate and shameful. I wish I could give zero stars to this experience, but I apparently have to give it one.

I usually would never think to rate an Office Depot, but this store is worth the time it takes to shout its praises. Irish is a phenomenal manager for business clients looking for the perfect print job. Compassionate with customers. Patient. Problem solver. Anyone who has printed saddle booklets knows that those things are complicated. I needed a lot of help fixing my printing issues, and he was able to get me set up entirely. After several other print attempts failed, he was able to knock it out the park for me. He helped me figure out how to prevent future issues and when to print in the shop versus as the central/regional Office Depot. They have different machines. Tip I learned today: keep your pages a multiple of 4 and you're going to have a much easier time. Also if you want some things printed to the edge sometimes they have to send it to Central. Other times, they can trim things down for you. Also cardstock double-sided takes some additional human-powered care when you're making half sheets. I learned so much! If you're having an issue with a complicated job, anyone here can help but today Irish saved my day. Thanks Irish!

I had to go in to make 200 copies of a document for my company. I had previously gone to this store and tried to use a company check which wasn't accepted, so I made sure to ask before going in if they would accept my check after explaining what happened last time. I went in, got my copies done and then went up to pay with check and it wasn't accepted. I was very upset because I had checked beforehand and wouldn't of driven out there to make the copies if I knew it wasn't going to be accepted. After a brief moment the manager gave me the copies and said we'll get you next time and provided me with a number to call to get my check issue cleared up. I was baffled, it is so rare nowadays for a business to just give you your product over an issue that wasn't your fault. They have secured future business from me and my company. Even if their prices are higher we are still gonna go here. Good customer service is something money can't buy. I'll be referring everyone I know to them.

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST!!! If I could I would rate this Office Depot (Holgate Seattle) negative five stars without an ounce of exaggeration needed. Never in my life have I been so badly treated and ABUSED VERBALLY by any store or a single employee/owner until today. So my boyfriend and I were waiting at the bus station right outside the store on Holgate and Airport way. Anybody who knows that area is familiar with the homeless problem and how that bus stop in particular can be a bit rowdy and crowded. Soyg_n** we decided to do a little shopping in the Office Depot until the crowd thinned out. My boyfriend had just gotten paid from work and we had several items we'd been waiting to buy. Both of us are members of the rewards program Office Depot offers and both ok f our accounts show exactly how much money we have spent at that location(Combined thousands of dollars). So what happened next was both baffling and infuriating to us both.

Print jobs get done right. This location is extremely convenient when you are in the Beacon Hill/Central District of Seattle. It’s almost a secret, but it well known one because the stuff is incredibly helpful. I’m always greeted when I walk into the store and on this particular day, I actually had a very significant print order to place. I had some questions that needed answering in person, and I was able to get the assistance. I needed to discuss the card stock, quality, the color combination — all questions that you need to see via having actual samples printed so you can experience what recipients well when they receive the product — but also timely delivery date and, significantly, I was able to take advantage of the 50% discount for this holiday season print. super appreciative of Philip, the general manager of the store who was very hands-on and making sure that my print order was accurate and fulfilled all my design needs.

I made a quick pitstop at Office Depot down off of Airport Way S and just needed to grab one item, I found it easily, and had the best experience at checkout! Irish, I think he was a manager or maybe m assistant manager, not sure, but he was cashiering when I got up to the counter, and he was so nice! He had an incredible sense of humor, I ended up picking up a great impulse item at the register, a adorable fingernail clipper set, a large one and a small one and the top part looks like it has scales on it and then the bottom part where you hold while pressing down looks like a fish tail! He encouraged me to get them and said of course I needed them. He also gave me great feedback on the actual item I came in for, iron on transfers, so I went ahead and got them and he was right. They worked out perfectly. Thank you so much Irish. It was really fun meeting you and experiencing your excellent customer service.

Terrible service I went to Office Depot on airport way and a lady name carrel lopez asked me if I need help I told her I need credi card paper and she asked another stuff where are those paper they told her isle 19 we went to isle 19 but was not there The whole time I kept my social distance after that I hard time breathing so I brought my social mask Lower she told me no u cannot do that bring it higher I told her I cannot keep that high because I have medical condition I cannot keep high any longer I was willing to stay in front of the door and Waite for I wanted because so rude I left the store and ordered on prime amazon Before this incident I was for 25 years customer of Office Depot but no more

Billy C. and the other staff at the Holgate Office Depot/Store 811 are always helpful and kind when I stop by for supplies. I came into the store today to fill up on G2 Pilot Pen ink refills in "Bold." Most stores carry either the "Fine" or "Extra Fine" G2 pens or refills. This Office Depot at always has a stock of "Bold" in black and blue, and this says a lot to me, as my visits to the store have been here-and-there due to Covid-19. In addition to these I also picked up some other items because they always have solid sales. Billy C. and the staff are always helpful to me and I value the human interaction, like eye contact and having a pleasant conversation. Thank you!

This this office Depot had excellent people skills that communicated really really well and they articulated their words and they were there to help me because I'm going to illiterate when it comes to copy machines and fax machines and everything and I appreciate their help and get help me and I just was able to get in and get out I appreciate that and then it makes a big difference especially when you got a long day have a good day thank you I recommend this home Depot down here by lander Street I recommend it I mean this office Depot I recommend it for anybody to come down here they're pretty efficient thank you

A lot of the items here are over priced. However the worst part is they supposedly have a FedEx here that can't scan any QR codes, Bar codes and etc / won't take any packages that have things like electronics, batteries, etc and only tell you after 15 minutes of filling out info and asking YOU to pay when the company accepting the return is paying for the shipping. The employee there in the morning named Don also will sigh repeatedly at you and ridicule you for not knowing how to use their program to send a package / that it isn't a real FedEx. Not a real FedEx and a overpriced Office Depot.

I have been to this store two times. It is out of the way a bit for me but very easy to get to. I had reason go there recently added they had the laptop I wanted ad my local store did not. The manager here gladly held it for me for a few days until I could get there. I ended up purchasing more items and he packed them up for me so that I could carry them comfortably on public transportation.

I've been in this store a few times before and always had an average experience--not terrible but also not great. Today I walked in, was greeted and led to the item I was looking for. The cashier was especially friendly and told me how I could save money on future purchases. Something must have recently changed with the management and/or staff. I will shop here more often!

Employee ringing me up tried charging me with a $5 supply donation without asking me. Pressed yes for me without even asking. The employee thought I didn't speak English and tried pulling a fast one on me. I had to ask what the $5 was that I was charged. The employee simply said, "You pressed it". I know I did not press yes. Please be careful when purchasing here.

What a pleasant surprise today. I stopped into Office Depot for a few items and had amazing customer service across four different members of the staff. Stopped in to get a ink cartridge and had to wait for an employee now that the ink is locked up, I tell him the brand and type multiple times then in frustration leave telling him I will buy online! If your service sucks you will go away like all other retailers who have closed down.

I went in to do some color copying and the rather poor directions on the machine ended up costing me a few bucks, no big deal, but the store was either unwilling or unable to give me a refund. At Fed Ex in Georgetown the same thing happened, but they happily refunded me.

Bad experience , I bought a printer , when I went to pick it up I was informed that someone picked it up in my name ( they did not check the ID ) . I spoke to Roger Wong who can't tell me when OR if my money will be returned, now I'm out of money and out of printer.
