"Park was awesome"
"Very relaxing felt tranquility, where we sat at, by the Dam, surrounded by beautiful tree's, felt at Peace didn't want to leave, they also have a BBQ Grill, want some Me Time, Peace, this is the spot to go too, Love It, Me n My Best Girl's go n hang out, talk, laugh, vent to each other,"
"A little underwhelming, to be honest"
"Should have used some of the millions to create the park to make a real sidewalk down the side of the street, some of us can’t afford to be zigzagging back and forth 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the road"
"It was quiet and lots of shade to walk under"
Park was awesome. My girlfriend had her son's bday there. The grass needs some maintenance but it'll do. The playgroup needs some updating too. But we were at basin #50. If it's reserved and payed for, next time they should have it cleaned the night before or morning of. I'm just saying. …

A little underwhelming, to be honest. More of a picnic area with a short nature trail. The din of nearby highway traffic kind of takes away the joy of nature immersion. A little disappointed with the size. Definitely not a hiking trail. More of an evening or early morning stroll.
Should have used some of the millions to create the park to make a real sidewalk down the side of the street, some of us can’t afford to be zigzagging back and forth 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the road. Some of us got places to go and don’t need the exercise just need to get there
It was quiet and lots of shade to walk under. I would recommend any dog owners. There are no pet areas with bags so bring your own. I always keep some im my car, so it's no biggie for me. It's also empty enough to let go of my dog for him to run around and play. More
Lots of park, benches and lots of for real barbecue pit grills made of limestone from the local quarry and of course I mentioned the trees are just spectacular. They reach out every direction and provide a nice cooling shade even on the hottest day of the year.
I have grown quite fond of this park. They have great trails with nearby baseball fields. Just be wary of going right after a storm, it's very muddy for this park is a high risk for flooding, but still a great place to come for a BBQ and walking trails.
Nice secluded trails and huge. There are different areas to this park which I have recently been finding out and you will get the feeling of a natural safe forest in some parts. Reminds me of some of the parks back home in Austin. Definitely 5 stars!
Lovely shaded park with amazing space and trees Tranquil Lots of places to sit & eat, BBQ pits, lots of trash bins. Plenty of parking. Restroom is clean, functional & fully equipped with tp, soap and paper towels; very appreciated! …
Nature is lovely, we like the place. Sadly the playground is not well kept, it is old and has obscene graffiti where kids play. You would think in this neighborhood they would pay more attention, but besides that, the trees are majestic.
Pretty peaceful and it's clean. They have a playground, restroom, plenty of greenspace and the trail that goes through it. Not to mention the Nature Trails nearby and a dog park not too far off. Definitely within walking distance.
It's a great place to spend the day with family or in my case my dog. Lots of walking trails dog friendly bike-friendly and sports friendly. Soccer games on the weekends a great to watch had lots of birds and other nature
Great green space with plenty of shade, picnic tables, walking trails and restrooms. The place could use a little more attention as to upkeep, but otherwise it's a good place to take the kids and the pooch.
This place is super friendly and even safer for parties and benefits. I was able to attend a benefit for Pay It Forward and the crew was really attentive. Definitely love the atmosphere and will be back
Attending the Bombitas Car Club Picnic. It was my 1st time at the park since we are from Dallas. The size if the park was big and very well shaded. We had a nice bree,y weather afternoon.
Olmos Basin Park, nice place to go for a walk or run. Very good environment for exercise and picnic. Sometimes problems with trash in Park or on the road, toilets is very dirty and
Big caution is there is lots of poison ivy growing on the trees . Otherwise Beautiful place no complaints I love the beautiful trees they keep you shaded through most of the Walk
Very nice park for walking and jogging. We actually found some off road trails for our mountain bikes on the other side of the highway. The trails are a bit narrow, but fun.
Picked up trash along the creek bed with Keep San Antonio Beautiful (40 people). Walked around afterwards, beautiful day but still lots of trash that needs to be picked up.
My son plays T-ball here very beautiful, great to hike, jog, run, sports, there's lots an lots of fields for sport games great views of nature
I love this park and the trails. We walk our dog here. It's very quiet and peaceful. It feels safe if you go early in the day or afternoon. Love all the trees.
Refreshing and beautiful park considering San Antonio local park standards. One little playground on the Basin side. Great parking during the weekday.
We watched the solar eclipse here, and also walked the trail here. Beautiful park and during eclipse time there were very few people here. Very nice!
The open air pavilion at the park across the street from the sports complex is super for celebrating events and barbecue More
beautiful park. parking absolutely atrocious. and people will park in the middle of the street. ridiculous. More
The pathways are paved for easy mobility. Peaceful trails and vibes. Bathrooms need a little tlc & maintenance.
Very spacious large park. Small playground for 5-12 year old but good size to keep an eye on your kids.
Trail park with playground and restrooms close by. Quiet and neat, great place to hang out and relax.
I've enjoyed bringing my husky out for walks. Short trails but easily accessible and some are paved!
One of the best place for romantic walks with partner. Lots of dog trails available. Peaceful place
Great place to have a blast (Literally.) and blow off some steam! Great rates, beautiful park.
Nice park with paved walking trails and a small kids playground. Plenty of picnic tables.
First time at this park. Had an awesome time at the event. Bombita’s picnic. Clean park.
Clean! Great track. Dog friendly. Restrooms. Dogging bags available. Lots of parking.
So pretty! All the tall trees and winding walking trails... Extremely relaxing
