Parking garage

I almost didn’t park here based on the negative reviews, even though I’d bought a ticket in advance. I needed to be out and to the airport very quickly after the performance I was attending. I got to the garage about an hour before the performance and found many spots available and heeded the tip of going up a few floors and parking on the exit ramp so I’d already be headed the right direction,. That helped a lot and I was able to get out of the garage within 15 minutes. The only issue was waiting for someone to be nice enough to actually let me back out. Annoying that kindness can be hard to come by sometimes. I’d probably still be wary of parking here if you wind up on a top floor or for a huge show, but my experience was surprisingly pleasant.
Whatever you do DO NOT PARK HERE!! We were seeing a show at the theatre and because traffic was so bad they never gave us a ticket for parking to speed things up. When leaving the lot traffic stood still for at least 30 minutes, we literally didn’t move, so we reparked and went to a bar nearby and when we came back an hour and a half later we were stuck in the garage because we were never given a ticket and then the after hours number didn’t work. So we had to call a local police officer to get us out of the lot. Whatever you do, seriously, DO NOT PARK HERE. Worst parking garage I’ve ever been to. So poorly run and mismanaged.
Took over 2 hrs to get out of this garage after the boys 2 men concert. Bruh. I officially spent more time waiting to get out of of this garage than I did at the actual concert. Park anywhere other than here. Catch Uber before coming here. Pay a ticket and park on the street before coming here. Walk from your house to downtown before coming here. Do anything but waste your time parking here. It will ruin your entire night
I have never even heard of LAZ parking and someone had to of entered my credit ID by hand into the machine and used it here last night, I want a refund. I was literally at work. The only other time I've seen this company the erratic woman working at one of their gates charged my friend twice for parking on her card and the woman was so out of it she "didn't know how to refund it"
My company pays for me to park here as a handicap driver. The first floor is all reserved and no handicap available. Each floor above has near Elevator, but they are often broke and recently the stairwell is blocked by caution tape. The uneasy feeling in the garage makes me wonder just how unsafe the structure itself is. And why oh why aren’t the handicap on the ground level.
Beware of this parking garage. If you do any type of self parking your car will get broken into. All the security cameras are only facing the elevators. The is no security to protect you or our belongings. If something happens they will say they are not liable for anything. When it say park at your own risk listen, not only your car is at risk but you are as well
Anytime I’ve parked here for the symphony I’ve had issues. Today there was a line of cars trying to get out and the machines weren’t working. Thankfully the side by the Omni was open and I went out the “do not enter” entrance area. What else to do? Before I’ve had an issue with the machine not accepting the parking validation I received. Horribly unpredictable!
Been sitting in line to get out of this garage for 35 minutes now following the Anita Baker concert. Have not moved 1 inch in 30 minutes. At this rate it will be 2:00AM before I get home. Totally Inefficient!!! Poor Management decision. Why would you collect money at the end of the night when patrons are paying a flat rate.
WORST PARKING COMPANY EVER. I have been trying to get in contact with someone (anyone) to cancel my account, its 2 months and nothing. I've called, I've emailed, nothing. At this point i'm sending an email a day in hopes someone will get annoyed and respond/ call me back. Save your time and money park anywhere else.
One of the most aggravating places to park downtown. Homeless policing on the 3rd floor stairwell by the elevator. Someone always asleep on the elevator early morning. Keep your head on a swivel very dangerous place in the early am hours trying to park.
Funky layout. Narrow parking spaces. Need to go up three levels to find a spot that isn't reserved parking. Location is convenient, which is the only thing this garage has going for it.
I went to see a play, but it ended at 11:00 pm. So because of how the garage is 1-way and people going the wrong way, I waited for well over an hour to get off the floor I was on.
The best place to park if you are attending an event at the Times-Union Center. Be prepared to wait when leaving, slow to empty the garage after an event.
There's a guy in the parking lot collecting money for the parking fee. I paid and when I returned to my car I had a $25 ticket on it.
Don't park here during events stuck in a line going up haven't moved in 30min absolutely ridiculous that u can only go up to get out
Great location, but narrow spaces for parking and narrow turns. Homeless people living/ sleeping at top of stairway on the roof.
Always full. So come early especially if you have a court date
Parked here for an event. Took almost 40 mins to get out.
Secure parking, but difficult to exit after an event
Free parking with the show at Times union center
SPEEDSTYLE CAR CLUB IN THE BUILDING
Good for daily park, not nights
