I waited to try this place out until it had been open for a few weeks. I went in at about 2pm with 2 friends we ordered the Coconut Shrimp (2x) with sides of Collards, Fries , Sweet Potato Chips, Cole Slaw and a Cobb Salad. My friend reported the salad was great including the dressing! The Coconut Shrimp was tasty however slightly over cooked. We were pleasantly surprised that the dipping sauce was warm, someone is trying to pay attention to the details, great job. The Sweet Potato Chips and the Fries were both excellent. The Cole Slaw had some kind of dressing on it but absolutely no flavor. We couldn't taste vinegar, sugar or salt the staples of Cracker (deep south) recipes. To my friends and family I am the proclaimed Collared Greens guy, everywhere we go if they are on the menu I order them. Needless to say with a restaurant named Crackers I was expecting something great. It was the first time that I can remember not finishing my greens (I can here my grandma telling me I can't leave the tablenow!!) I'm not sure of the recipe (flavor) or mixture. There seemed to maybe Turnips in there? Either way I was so disappointed that it threw shade on the rest of the food. The service was excellent and I think the manager may have stopped by and asked if we needed anything. The reason I say ' I think is because she was a female but so was the other people who asked if we needed anything so the thought process was she might have been a server. This might be because it seemed that all the employees were dressed differently, some with one color shirt, some with knee boots, some with hats, keys hanging from there belt loops and then some with none of the above. The bottom line is the place is new and they are hopefully working through everthing so they will see me and my friends back again and will probably order the greens again but you everyone knows the saying fool me once! Please don't fool me again.

The Florida Cracker Kitchen has an interesting decor and the food is good. It is a "down home" restaurant with a theme that reminds me of Old Florida. It is informal and a number of interesting Florida memorabilia pieces. While informal, the atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. Our server, Melissa, was very good and quite pleasant and friendly. She took our order quickly and our orders were filled correctly. There was a special on pumpkin pancakes for the Fall season and ordered the 1+1+1—1 pancake, one egg and one piece of sausage. It was plenty of food for one adult. The egg was cooked perfectly. The yolk was not cooked and the white surrounding it was cooked—just as ordered. The sausage was tasty. The pancakes were light and fluffy, as I had hoped they would be. The pumpkin flavor was barely discernible, unfortunately. It also came with whipped cream and a sweet sauce on top which I had not realized. It scrapped off without much trouble and I added butter to replace all of the sugar. Overall, a good breakfast place and worth a visit. It reminded more of what Florida used to be like in past years.

I visit the Mayo Clinic every three weeks for treatment and often have two hours to blow between blood work and infusion. I found this place and have eaten there twice now. The first was for breakfast and ordered an omelette with hash browns and toast. Asked for the omelette to be cooked well and it wasn't but not a biggie, simply asked them to microwave it for a minute or two and all was good. The food was delicious, and the service was great. Just revisited and ordered the gator basket with collard greens. OMG! I order gator whenever it's on a menu and most establishments overcook it. The gator they delivered to me was absolutely the best I have ever had. Nice big, juicy chunks of gator with a delicious sauce. Now, I also love collard greens and theirs were better than mine. Lived the whole meal. Thank you for providing a great little haven between appointments and I will see you in three weeks for gator and greens! P.S. I am making my husband take a day off work so he can try the gator!

This was my first visit since the change of name but thought since things were still on the menu they would still be good. We ate 3 meals. The kids meal was ok if you like your waffle mushy. The corned beef hash is completely different. Hard to find a piece of corned beef, as they are so tiny and what tasted like frozen shredded potatoes which I asked for crisp, were disgusting and were very mushy; not crisp at all. Also for a 15 dollar breakfast the portion size was like a kids meal. The acai bowl was ok but they were kinda stingy with the Granola and fruit. Big let down. Especially for the price point. You can even scroll down and see the pics of real potatoes a year ago. You are going off the reputation and posts of before but serving completely different food. People don't be fooled. All the good reviews are before it was Orange Blossoms.

I came here with my mom and sister and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. I had the eggs benedict with a side of dress fruit and it was great. My mom and sister had the smoked salmon eggs benedict, which they were equally happy with. We also ordered a plate of French toast to share. Everything was delicious. The only minor is that the hot drink selection was very small. The staff were very busy but remained very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Forida cracker kitchen-Great food and service. Will be back repeatedly. ***Update*** Since rebranding as orange blossom it pales in comparison to what it was as Florida Cracker Kitchen. Service is slow and unattentive in fact you might as well pour your own refills. Food is possibly the worst breakfast I've had in a long time. The biscuits and gravy was stone cold, tasted like burnt plastic, the hash brown were undercooked and oil soaked, even the toast was burnt. Everyone in the party was shocked at the food quality and preparation., the vibe is weird in general. I'll won't be back. This place went from hero to zero with the rebranding in every way.

Go for the tots. Skip the benets. They are greasy and small. Good coffee. Very uncomfortable chairs. But if u eat and go, this is a good place. Great service, pretty quick too, which is good because tiny metal chairs. The biscuits are huge and yummy and you should try the cinnamon raisin toast. The front is a bar, so if you're going to have a drink with friends and you like high tops and games outside, then this may be your new spot. It's clean and airy inside, but for some reason, they stick you in a closed off room if your dining in. Nothing to wow about, but worth the trip.

I have been absolutely racketeered by this establishment. The chicken and the waffles include a singular waffle. Deceptive naming and advertising. But I would this slide if the food was at least decent, however, this “meal” was indescribably bad. The saddest chicken and waffle I have ever had. 4 skimpy pieces of chicken on a waffle that is worse than Waffle House. The fact that I paid $13 for this is robbery. I might as well get a lawyer to sue over the fact that they only give you one waffle in the supposed chicken and WAFFLES. I have nothing else to say. Such a dining experience has left me speechless. This place has “Get Out” vibes too. If i wasnt white i would never enter this establishment. That is all.

  • chad smith

Ok, so I had a 1 star review on you guys for a while there for the menu change. And I apologize... I was highly upset that day because I only had so much time to eat before I had to go to work. I had my order ready that took me a while to figure out what I wanted. And then I went to place order, and you told me everything changed and what I wanted was no longer available. But I'm past that, and wanna say this meal I just got from your NEW MENU is absolutely amazing! Not sure what the issue was about with the cook and my order, but TELL HIM HE DID A DAM GOOD JOB! and thank you too all the staff because you guys are great at what you do!

Yum! Excellent food, superior service and an all-around great Sunday brunch experience. We were seated within 15 minutes of arriving. Inside and outside seating were available. I had the Bailey’s Irish Cream coffee and shared a cinnamon bun (yes, they’re THAT big) with my husband and daughter to start. My husband had the omelette with a biscuit and potatoes which he was able to polish off. My daughter had the 2+2+2 (eggs, bacon & pancakes) and ended up taking home the pancakes. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich which was superb and took half home. It’s been a while since we’ve eaten anything but takeout because of Covid but we’re already looking forward to going back to Florida Cracker Kitchen.

  • Edward Hutchinson

Extremely busy. Waited 45 minutes to get seated and the same to get our orders. Several tables around us were served before us. Such a shame for great location with great food. The food was excellent. Catfish was cooked perfectly. Omelets were not greasy. Old-tyme potatoes were seasoned well. Our waitress was attentive, but could not even offer certain drink refills for waiting so long. Just hoping they improve on the wait times. Overall a decent visit. We will be back again to try other dishes. Bonus: lots of stuff to do while you wait outside and a little store inside to boot.

Arrived here on a weekend morning, so I knew there’d be a wait. I put my name down, two adults and a child. We ordered some drinks from the bar and began our wait. Well over an hour later, we still hadn’t been seated, so I went to the hostess to check on the status. When I walked up, I was able to see the wait list in plain view. I saw my name there with about 20 parties after me already crossed off (seated). I asked the hostess why they all had been seated but not me. She said they were all larger parties. Needless to say, we left and will likely never return. My advice, stay on top of the hostess if you’re waiting to be seated.

Jean is our favorite server, but the regular bartender is amazing too. Have been regulars since it opened as Florida cracker. Love the new menu and the drinks have been my favorite additions. I do wish they sold merchandise. The tshirts are so cute.

Terrific breakfast. Amazing portions. I had the eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. Eggs just as ordered. Food slightly greasy, but not so u couldn't eat it. My husband had fish and grits. Two good sized catfish filets(excellent), two eggs, two biscuits and well cooked grits. So good. A little noisy, but I could converse with my husband. Live music on a Sunday morning on the patio. Fun place. Will go again when we are there.

We ordered through Door Dash and it took an hour longer to get our food than it said because they put other orders as a priority over yours even if it was ordered first. We ordered three orders of pancakes and hashbrowns and biscuits and zero syrup, zero butter, and zero jelly. They should stick to in person dining only so people can run their servers 500 times to get basic condiments that should automatically accompany these items. Absolutely awful online ordering experience.

This place is really cute and has a great environment. The bar area is cozy, the truck outside has build your own bloody Mary's, and the store in front is cute. We got a cinnamon bun, which was out of this world, but the breakfast sandwich was very disappointing. Our waitress barely talked to us, and it took over an hour to get our food. While a larger group was sat, fed, and paid for by the time we got our food. Then they messed up my order. The manager jess was great was very considerate and asked how our meal was, the waitress was not. Fairly disappointed with the overall experience.

  • Ryan Rush

This was our first time here and certainly won't be our last. We were seated immediately on the patio outside which was very nice. The service was fast and very friendly. The food was amazing all around. We started with the cinnamon roll to share, and glad we did because it was huge and delightful. Swimming in wonderful icing. I then ordered the fried Gator tail with sweet potato fries. The breading was wonderful with the right amount of crunch and seasoning. The remoulade they make is PACKED with flavor, you could put it on a shoe and it'd be good! Cannot wait to try more next time!

Recently, we needed a large room for a men's breakfast. Most places wanted to charge for the room. Orange Blossoms did not. We made the reservation and about 20 men were present. We had one waitress, but she did a superb job. She took our orders on a tablet. Before all had ordered, the food was coming out. We all were served in a matter of minutes. All of the men were impressed by the room, the service, and the food. We will return to Orange Blossoms for our next meeting in September.

This was our 2nd trip to Orange Blossoms. Great food and super friendly service. My husband and I loved the freshly squeezed OJ? Why not a 5/5? I ordered breakfast food with a coffee. It was so oppressively hot in the restaurant that I didn’t drink my coffee. Truth told, we ate at around 2:00, maybe they shut off the air bc closing time is 2:30. Still, I was sweating while eating my meal. Not ideal.

My first visit to Orange Blossoms on Beach Blvd. The restaurant is very relaxed and casual. My daughter and I enjoyed the "Fish & Grits" and the catfish was perfectly cooked. The coffee was fresh and hot The Mimosa was also pretty good. I will definitely visit again! I would give 4 stars, but our server was not very friendly. Not going to lie....when it was Florida Cracker, I was not impressed...went a couple of times and it was, meh. HOWEVER, this new menu at Orange Blossom was impressive. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict (with PERFECTLY runny yolk as a benedict should have) and upgraded my side to the "Totties" (amazing hashbrown balls with a delicious Jalapeño jelly) pimento cheese style....oh my word were they delicious. I will DEFINITELY be back now!

Ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. I got them to switch out the Naan for a regular English muffin and asked for a side of avocado to put on top. For a side I got fruit at an upcharge, their only healthy side dish. The poached eggs was extremely hard almost like a boiled egg and the egg was cold. The side of avocado was frozen and the fruit was very sad. Horrible experience.

Crazy delicious! What a way to start the day! Breakfast or brunch at the Florida Cracker Kitchen is a real treat. Lots of flavorful choices including fish, kielbasa, country fried steak and even gator! Nearly everything is made in house including their bread and biscuits, sauces and local honey. They have a bar and Bloody Mary wagon at certain times where you can make your Mary anyway you want. The kitchen boasts a cool gift shop as well. Seriously chick this place out for fantastic food and friendly staff.

Very pleasantly surprised. There wasn’t a super long weight on a Saturday for brunch so this place much just be underrated! The food was amazing, they have scrumptious specialties that you don’t get anywhere else and their drinks were really good as well! We will definitely be back, maybe next time for lunch or dinner! This place is pretty cool they have sort of a cracker barrel experience with a store in the front and a restaurant in the back. The food is true southern style and real fresh baked biscuits yum. There is a truck outside offering mimosas and bloody Mary's while you wait. The wait can be long on weekends but it's worth it. I wish they were open for dinner because sometimes you just want some fast delicious food but other than that I can't recommend this place enough.

  • Robert Doyle

Waitress was very nice. Food was decent, but not special. Hash browns are shredded potatoes which likely come frozen and prepackaged. Corned beef hash is mixed with the shredded potatoes. Not bad, but not great. Atmosphere was nice and food came out quickly. I wouldn't avoid Orange Blossoms, but won't go out of my way to eat here.

I really want to give them a 5 star however the wait time is too long seriously. We first wait to sit for 1hr, however we wait another 45mins for food. It doesn’t matter how good the food you are but the service is still part of the experience. I know you guys are very busy but hopefully serving the food could be faster because I am perfectly ok waiting for a table. Food is good for sure and definitely will be back.

We went to orange blossoms as a last ditch effort cause all our regular joints were full. Happy accident! Fantastic chix and waffles and farmers omelette. Great service and cool atmosphere. Corn hole outside! We will definitely be going back.

Delicious breakfast, and the coffee is freakin amazing! It's a very Floridian restaurant. Kegs can be sat on at the bar, a small shop inside, and when I was there, jenga outside while you wait. If you want a restaurant to overload your Florida senses, with great food, this is it!

Good atmosphere, nice server, mediocre food though. And pretty high in price for breakfast.

Awesome food and awesome place!! The staff was very friendly.. only reason it didn’t give 5 stars is the chairs are insanely uncomfortable. Even the staff said everyone says that. I think that would be enough of a hint to go ahead and swap them out for something better.

  • Christalee Eckles

Great place. One of the best omelets I've ever had! Packed with jumbo shrimp, side of grits and homemade biscuits. Fantastic service and higher covid standards followed than in a lot of other places which I appreciated. I'll be back to try more menu items for sure!

  • ashley ray

Highly recommend. A down home friendly place with fresh homemade food. The smoked salmon Benedict was delicious as well as the homemade corned beef hash. The croissant bengiets were absolutely delicious. Do not miss out on this place if you're near Jax beach. More

Had about a 10 minute wait to get 2 seats at the back counter on a Sunday afternoon. Just a testament to how popular this place is and for good reason. Food was very good. Staff was attentive without interrupting the experience.

I've lived in Jacksonville four years and finally tried Florida Cracker and I will definitely be back! The food was delicious and everyone was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a great breakfast!!

First time here with a group of 8 people; waited an hour to be seated but food was good and portions were big. I did like that it wasn't over priced for what was served, would come back again to try their other specials!

Western omelet & the country fried steak were very good. The original mimosa 20/10 the best I had. We live in Lakeland fl but definitely a place to visit again. Costumer service awesome, they check on us all the time.

Good, southern, home-style cooking delivered in a laid back atmosphere by sweet-as-pie servers. I had fried oysters, collards and fresh creamy coleslaw with a spicy bloody mary. It was all very good.

Went for Sunday brunch was very busy but the crew was moving the people. Friendly employees delicious food I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had a grilled veggie wrap with garlic fetta spread

  • jeff Burnsed

Properly defined, this is "country food" and it's GREAT! The atmosphere is terrific, and staff team, superb! Our church leaders LOVE the casual, positive attitude. Try the grits, you'll be back!

  • John Bramhall

The Florida Cracker is a cool place to hang out for a nice brunch. The food is pretty good (our potatoes were dry and over cooked) drinks are great, but just be prepared for a 30-45 min wait.

Great place to have breakfast. We were seated quickly and the food was out fast. It's like an all Florida version of cracker barrel, but better. We'll have to come back again to try lunch.

  • Robert Dew

Incredible food, relaxed atmosphere and fun outdoor area with bloody Mary bar and corn hole. May be a wait but won't disappoint. Nice store with unique merchandise. Great old Florida feel

This spot is so good! The food is fresh and that’s what counts. The flavors are great. Biscuits are amazing and flakey. Came with the family and everyone had something they enjoyed! More

Isn’t worth it! Overrated 100%. They call chicken and waffles 3 tenders on one waffle. Potato skillet so dry and bland only ranch can save it. Water was delicious that’s why 2 starts.

Delicious place and worth the wait! Their fresh cinnamon roll is big enough to share, although you're going to want to hog it all to yourself. Great food, staff, and experience.

  • Sydney Stelly

Great classic breakfast. A tad bit expensive but the atmosphere is really cool and makes up for it a little. Their store has lots of nice things to look at while you’re waiting.

  • Jon Caldwell

This place has a great blend of breakfast and lunch items. I need to go back and try more menu items. The food is high quality and tasty. You must wear a mask to eat here.
