Me and my partner dined here on 12/31/21 and I initially wasn't going to make the review, because I don't want to give a business a hard time especially while a pandemic is happening, but I feel I should. When we came in, the place felt very hostile as employees were loudly arguing among each other making people from other tables as well as the table me and my partner were sitting at look up not once, but multiple times; it got to a point where they were sounding really heated with each other before a man in a grey shirt (who I assume is the manager) very minimally told them to break it up. Our waiter, Kari, who had just punched into work not even 20 minutes ago according to her, was very dismissive of us, we didn't even know her name until I went looking for it. She was a rather confrontative when approaching our table, forgot some parts of our orders after rudely asking us what we wanted, walked off in a sulking fashion, and shoved our plates of food onto the table. Also, when I requested "Apple Juice" Kari brought me 2 apple juice boxes then walked off without asking me if I wanted to change my drink and charged me full price for it, too. To top it off, when we left her a tip, as we were walking out she was badmouthing us to her coworkers, whether it was us or the small tip for the poor service she gave us, but we know it was about us. You've made absolutely sure that we will not be coming back here. TLDR: Place was hostile and tense, waiter was rude, forgot portions of our orders, dismissive of the customer, and (specifically Kari) badmouthed us to her coworkers as we were leaving out the door.

I walked in at 130 and the whole place was a mess and no one was cleaning.. yet Yanna was arguing with the cook saying she was gonna hit him with the mop, there was one guy at the counter waiting for his to go food and no one was getting his food until Sara came in. But the cook asked sara where have she been.. she said well I been to the bathroom and I did this and that but she was stopped by Tracey to tell her to get the to go order. They all was talking loud like they was outside. I was finally ask 10 min. Later I sitting and I said yes. Domon wiped the table I sat down and she said I'm hard of hearing so I spoke loud.. so there was Sara, Domon, Tracey, Yanna, and a few more was around me but Gina come from the other end to take my order. This info may not mean much to the managers but I'm sure the owners would be interested to know there is to much going on in the stores. So during the switch over it was like the school bell ringing.. why couldn't they go to the back to switch shift to much to say on messages.. Gina was the best waitress! PS. Aubrey the DM was here while all this was going on..

I'm going to start out by saying the food was delicious, fresh and hot. The manager was calling out orders and telling his staff what a good job they were doing. It was uplifting to hear his praise to the many. But this was not my normal Waffle House experience. Typically you sit down, then have a menu, silverware and drink in front of you before you blink twice. Today it took about 7 minutes for someone to come for our order, we were ready when she came and ordered all our food, water, coffee with cream and splenda at the same time. It took about 10 more minutes for our coffee to arrive (one at a time), then I asked for cream and splenda and they were delivered separately, then I had to ask for a silverware so I could stir my coffee. After our food was delivered, we asked for water and half way through the meal (after the bill was laid on the table) I asked for a coffee refill for my husband. When we were completely done was when "Dandylion" asked if she could get us anything else. She was slow, unattentive, spacy and unorganized. I tipped my 20% because others won't when they get poor service, but this server needs more training or a very slow paced job in her future.

I meet my friend here for breakfast as we were both hungry. I get there the staff is yelling and talking extremely loud. No one greets me or anything. It's 1:43 in the afternoon supposedly during a shift change. It appears most of staff have attitudes like your an inconvenience to them. I have experienced this on 3 occasions. This use to be a great waffle house to go, but it appears they can't get good workers anymore. I understand we all some type of issue or problems, but as I tell people I didn't sleep with you last night. The only saving grace yesterday was Gina. She was sweet and apologized for the other staffs behavior and she took good care of use. We sat at the area right from cash register and there were dirty dishes being stacked by Damon. DeDe came over and removed them thanked her for doing that. I spoke with this young lady who I later found out was in management and told her the staff needs an attitude adjustment and she she was going to address things with them in the am.

Went here at 6pm on 3/31/22. The waitress running the place with her hair in buns dyed different colors was rude,not doing any work,and too busy talking on her phone with her earpiece complaining about customers and her job.she ignored all the customers.took her forever to take our order because she was too busy talking on her phone,she didnt bring us real silverwear,instead she not set but threw some plastic to go forks at us...a lady waited at the checkout forever to pay,while she sat at a table talking on her phone,when the lady finally told her im trying to checkout,she snapped at the lady and said i know.she kept critisizing the older gentleman cook on everything he did,when he was trying to help customers doing her job that she wouldnt..the older gentleman cook did an awesome job cooking,then helping customers that she was ignoring,he kept apologizing to everyone....the waitress would fit in real well with the rude people at mcdonalds down the road...she needs to be fired,if i do decide to go here again,if shes working ill walk back out

I used to Love Wafflehouse in MD and NC. Then I moved to Al and couldn't stand the service. I came to FL back in June. This Wafflehouse I visited because I was hungry and I do not regret that at all. They flipped me back to loving this staple in the community. The cook, tattooed head to toe, is amazing. I don't know his name but he is in the every time I come. He's never distracted, frustrated, angry, or anything. He seems genuinely happy to be rocking out those meals. I used to be in this place over a decade ago and it's hard. That's why i handed the waitress $100 and told her to split amongst all the workers. I'm in a place now that I can do that and it's because businesses like Wafflehouse that gave me that chance

Normally don't leave reviews but since this place is a repeat offender, I figured I would. First time we came here a while back, we were told there would be a wait for a table and when we asked about how long she thought it would be, the lady working there yelled at us, "How would I know?!" Tried again tonight. Not too busy but only a couple people working. Sat down and was told we'd be taken care of in a minute. Thirty minutes later, multiple people had shown up for work, people started telling the cook to-go orders for people that came in after us, the original waitress continued to get things for the table behind us, and she started bussing a dirty table after one group left. Still no service. Not even drinks. My suggestion would be to pick a different waffle house if you want to dine in.

In the midst of hurricane IAN, we got hungry. It was open and packed. We were seated quickly. The menu was very limited but what we wanted was available. Cooked and served perfectly hot and fast! There was so much food I had to bring some home. The staff was happy, jovial in fact. Hurricanes tend to do that to folks round here, (in a Bob Marley kinda way). Nervous energy I guess or maybe just glad the storm impacts have been minimal. A happy brunch made for a welcome distraction. "Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright" and the waffles-amazing as always. Great staff and teamwork.

Yesterday (01-MAR-2020), my father and I were looking for a breakfast place pretty close to our hotel, while he was visiting. As soon as we went in, we were seated at the high table and our orders were taken instantly. Not sure what the young lady's name was, but she was short, blonde, and Caucasian- super nice and very sweet! Our food was delivered hot and she ensured that our water glasses were full the entire time. I just want to say thank you to the morning crew who served us yesterday. Although it was extremely busy, you all handled and conducted yourselves as true professionals and made sure that orders were sent out quickly and efficiently. Hands down, one of my best Waffle House experiences, ever! I will definitely be back and make sure that my colleagues in the area support this location! Again, thank you!

Attentive waitress kept asking how we were doing, very pretty and nice. She tried her best to make sure we were taken care of, as we were the only customers there as of that moment (for at least an hour). The food is cooked professionally, tastes great, and food is well priced. The place is clean / well taken care of. Bathrooms were spotless. Overall, would visit again. Truckers: during the day there's no parking, after local stores are closed from 8pm-6am there's a few places to park and turn around. I was there from 4am-5:30am. No problems getting out with a 50 foot trailer. Do not park and sleep here. Eat than go on with your day. Thanks for reading my review, -Eli

Does not accommodate special diets. This particular Waffle house took our order agreed to complete the order, we traveled to pickup the order to find out they did not even put it in. I have made the same order at other waffle houses and never had this issue. They could have called back to say they were not able to clean off a portion of the grill or they did want to. Customer service should be a valued thing it appears not to be at this location. To do a simple less than 2 minute water clean should not be worth loosing customers. I requested a phone number to report this and was informed they did not have one. Sure!

Our waitress couldn't get an order right we had to receive our order in segments of incomplete mush the waffles came 30 min after all the other food we couldn't get refills on water coke or coffee 80$ we spent they wouldn't give a discount or do anything worth a dang. If it wasn't for the cook and other waitress stepping in we would have left and not paid. I'll never be coming back.

We went to have Easter dinner breakfast only 2 people were working. We waited a little for the grills to get hot again I guess they were cleaning them. Even though it was only 2 people working they worked well together and and got our food and all the other tables food out with no issues. The cook was helping clean tables the server was making waffles they did a Great job! Finally another server came in and wasn't any help they were better off without her coming in.

My girlfriend and I made a pit stop here, and we sat at the bar. Unfortunately, we sat for 20 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged by the waitress working the area. The only saving grace was the cook Allen... Not only did he acknowledge us, but he also took our order and had our food in front of us before the waitress even knew what happened.... Although the staff are polite and the building relatively clean, there is far too much socialization between the crew to complete orders correctly and attend customers properly. Bacon eggs and toast are fairly simple, but to completely forget one of three items and have to return ones funds to correct the mistake is pretty bad service. Only option early morning at 5am, but would not recommend or return for another try.

The food and our waitress were fine. The problem was the young staff on shift! They were so loud! I understand trying to ensure order accuracy, but the sidebar conversations and threats of water being thrown on one another were too much. The high pitched laughter was ear piercing! Me and my wife couldn't hear each other and we were two feet across the table fron one another. We were not the only ones who complained about this. You are back to work...good...act accordingly please!

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with the Waffle House on Normady. Several of the customers were extremely rude! Than, an older man came in and was harassing the female staff! The lady in charge appoligized to me in regards to bullying customer. However, I felt very uncomfortable there and I was very upset afterwards. Fortunately, I had much better dining experiences with other locations.

It took the waitress a few times to take our order, because she was under the influence of drugs. As someone who has seen it multiple times, I am not making an assumption, I am stating a firm belief. We had a very simple order, but yet she still couldn't focus long enough to take it. Our order came out wrong and took very long, and we had another waitress come behind the current one and fix everything. I really enjoy this location, so I hope this was just a fluke visit.

I'm only giving 2 stars because the waitress was good but the food was absolutely terrible undercooked and when the cook forgot to put cheese on the hash Browns he asked everyone in the restaurant to shoot him in the head over Cheese our waitress made sure he fixed it though she let him know you can do better than this

I get in there and I sit down after waiting to be greeted for about 5 minutes. I sit down and proceeded to watch the guy on the meats “pull side” drop pork chops, then chicken, then hamburgers and went about touching stuff without changing his gloves once. Still after witnessing all that nobody even said hello so I just left. I’m there to eat and the crew can’t keep it together. It was nighttime, approximately 1am on March 6, 2022

I enjoy eating at Waffle House BUT I would not recommend this location. Terrible food, horrible service, cooks on personal phone while preparing food, lead worker talking poorly about other workers immediately near customers, upset cook slamming dishes and tossing food in plates. These behaviors lasted duration of our time there. We wanted to leave but only our level of hungry made us stay. Not recommended

Second time trying to eat here in one day. First time was packed and the wait was forever, but that wasn't their fault. Now, they have half the lobby roped off so people have to wait to be seated. Not a big deal, but the lady was so rude about it like she couldn't care less if people stayed or left. Which is true, but when you're in a customer service position you do not treat your customers with such blatant disregard.

This is the cleaniest waffle house I have ever been to. The team was nice, quick, and professional. All of their uniforms were clean too. They worked well together and got our order and food to us promptly. Honestly, a great experience. The cook made everything look good. None of the food was overcooked nor sloppy. The servers were attentive. And the restroom was clean! And those grits! Mmmmmhm. Perfect!

What can I say? It's Waffle House. Everything you expect from a greasy spoon kitchen at 3 am. Food is heavy but delicious and the atmosphere is as moist as the waffles are fluffy. The wait-staff have sass, but are good-natured and remember your order. The cooks are loud but know their stuff and the general atmosphere can't be missed. All-in-all a favorite place to get breakfast anytime of the day.

Staff is always super friendly. The food has been good. Always a great experience. Also, bring a few bucks for the jukebox to try some Waffle House favorites (they have their own soundtrack).

I called and placed an order for pickup, jay answered the phone and proceeded to take care of us when we were in the restaurant. He had the most amazing attitude and had the largest smile on his face the entire time. Needless to say his customer service skills are BEYOND words! We need more Jay’s in this world. I will definitely be returning to this location!

Excellent service and excellent food, great atmosphere. Hot western omelet, grit's and bacon. Good cup of coffee.

Amazing on Normandy had a waitress name tag said beautiful she was on point. Had our drinks and food order in right away and we were wearing before we knew it. Thank you for the wonderful lunch experience. Good was delicious definitely recommend waffles!

Waffle House is fairly consistent (good) with menu. The service can vary. This one on Normandy had very good service.
