"I’ve been to a few different OT studios and this one is BY FAR my favorite! The front desk employees are a pleasure to chat with and make you feel like you’re part of the team as soon as you walk in"

Customer service here is horrible. I’ve been a member for a long time, actually since this location has opened many years ago. I’ve canceled twice solely because of the customer service I’ve received over the years from this location alone. I am now a member at another location and I’ll just say not all orange theory locations are the same. I decided to give this location another chance as my friend and I were going to meet halfway for both of us at tonight’s 545 class. She drove over an hour to get there and showed up at 548. The lady at the front was AWFUL and I mean awful. I arrived first at around 535 and had mentioned that my friend was stuck in traffic and she was aware of the late policy but I had wanted to give the staff a heads up. The lady working basically told me in a nutshell that she wasn’t going to let her in and that she doubted she would even make it. I told my friend what the lady said and she had arrived at 548 and was parking. I was in the lobby and had even pointed out her vehicle to the front desk and had mentioned she was right there stuck behind a slower moving truck. The lady then began a countdown saying “oh looks like she has 20 seconds to come in, oops now it’s 18….17 and so on” while my friend was sprinting across the parking lot to make it in time. As my friend was sprinting in the lady had let in two other members and they had even made the comment about them being late and not being able to get in. And she told them they were ok and to go start working out. Then when my friend had arrived in the doors it was 550 with about 3 seconds past time the lady looked at her and said sorry you’re past time. My friend then talked to her alone as I had gone in to start my workout and this lady had proceeded to tell her “I would have let you in but….” and turns to look at me while I’m on the treadmill. All of this to say that I am a member who recruits a lot of members to come to orange theory. My friend was actually thinking of upping her membership to come more often and I have brought at least 5 other members in during my time at orange theory. I love the place and love the workouts but I do not love the alliance location. We are fully aware of the cutoff times and the rules in place. That is not the issue here. The issue is the way this locations treats their customers who pay hundreds of dollars if not more, like me, who pays thousands a year for an unlimited membership. I was so upset by the way this lady treated me today that I left the workout early. And as I had left she just stared at me leaving and didn’t even say a word to me. Alliance get it together man
I really like how the workouts change from day to day. It's hard to get bored like you do in a normal gym. I also enjoy that the staff shows an interest in recognizing the progress of individual members. This comes in the form of brag boards, social media photos, and most importantly personal recognition by the coaches and staff at the studio during and after workouts. Finally, I enjoy all the activities (signature workouts, benchmarks, theme days, etc.). These provide additional motivation and even more variety. Keep up the good work!! Addendum (6 months later): Orange Theory - Alliance has helped me break through every fitness barrier I've ever had. They have literally redefined the word "possible" in my mind. I look/feel great and the program in combination with the studio staff have been a huge part of that. I typically attend in the evenings after a busy day at work and a long commute. An OTF workout is the perfect way to get all those frustrations out of my system so I feel like a champ (a tired champ mind you) when I come through the door at home. In other words, I'm not the only one who benefits from the program. My wife and kids enjoy the much improved attitude. Thanks OTF - Alliance !!
I can't say enough good things about Orangetheory Fitness! I LOVE it! I was never athletic and used every excuse possible to get out of gym when I was in school. As I started to age, I also started to gain weight. I tried joining a gym. I'd get the free training session, think I had it down and then show up to do what I was given and it was just so overwhelming. I'd last maybe 5 or 6 times then quit going, but you know keep paying because cancelling a gym membership was HARD! My cousin told me about OTF so I tried the free no obligation class and I enjoyed it. What I loved most, then and now, is that it's like having a personal trainer in a group setting. I get cardio, which I really needed and strength training. I liked that they weren't high pressure to join after the free class, they just told me my options and asked if I'd like to join up. I liked that I could start out with the smallest option of 4 classes a month. That was what I did. Thinking, if I quit, it only requires a 30 day notice, I'd only be out one month. Well, that didn't happen, I kept going. Here I am almost 7 years later and still going.
I’ve been to a few different OT studios and this one is BY FAR my favorite! The front desk employees are a pleasure to chat with and make you feel like you’re part of the team as soon as you walk in. The one coach I’ve had so far was so encouraging and funny, he made sure to give me a first bump and tell me I’m doing a great job as I was gasping for air and obviously burning out. Even some of the people in class with me made me feel really included and my “I’m the new person” nerves melted away. Super excited for my next workout!
I never thought I would say this but they really know to get your body in shape! It's a self pace and fast pace, but you get everything you need out of it to get your body in shape. You have a trainer there coach you through and make sure you are ok and to give you that little push to get you to the end, to finish your goal. Great Trainers and well worth the money to continue to better your health, goal and expectation you will love it!
I like that the workouts are challenging, but doable. They make me strive to do better every time! I also like that the coaches are great about feedback and checking our form to make sure we're doing the exercises correctly. And the energy in the workout from the coaches and the other class members is second to none!
I've been going to OTF for six months now. Even with new coaches and new staff, the attitude has stayed the same. Everyone is friendly and encouraging. I'm not a person that likes gyms, but I love OTF! I also love the fact that I am definitely stronger and more toned than ever before.
Always a very positive experience. The coaches are attentive, helpful and encouraging. Kyle is great, Erica is great, I miss Tylyn and Kayla, but the other coaches brought in have been really good also. I like that the staff makes an attempt to know and remember people.
Great workout! I get cardio, endurance, and strength in one place. No planning… I just show up! Staff is friendly and personable … and the Coaches are motivating! I’ve been going for one full year and I still look forward to the workout! Never miss a Monday!
My partner and I love this place. You’re always going to get a killer workout.
