My dog had been a patient of this clinic for over 10 years. One morning, with no previous symptoms, he woke up and could no longer stand or eat. His condition rapidly deteriorated within hours. When I called in to seek urgent care for him I was told the clinic could not see him under any circumstances and that the earliest opportunity would be a week from when I called. I was referred to an emergency hospital. The hospital ran blood work and emailed results to me which were not entirely clear as I am not a medical professional. I called the clinic back and asked if Doctor Alex could spare 5 minutes to review the blood work results and lend an opinion. Kim, the front receptionist informed me verbatim that "we're swamped" and it would not be a possibility. My dog unfortunately passed away within a day. I am extremely disappointed that this family clinic that made us and our dog feel like family for years acted so incredibly unwelcoming in literally the 1 emergency situation that our dog faced in his entire life.

I just had a phone call with Kim regarding spaying of our new kitten. We are not a patient of the clinic but would be willing to consider moving. She was not friendly at all and advised me they would not be taking new patients for several months. I advised that was fine because the kitten is only 4 months old. When she finally agreed to give me a price she advised that I would have to have all blood work done because they have never seen the kitten before? I've had cats all my life and dealt with many vets and I have never heard of this before. Even my own vet did not require full bloodwork on either of our kittens. Unless there is reason to believe there is something very wrong why would you require that? I have called a few other vets and even they have said that the bloodwork prior to spaying is optional. Sounds like a cash grab to me.

Dr. Alex and Dr. Erica have been caring for my dog for years and I trust them completely. My dog has a plethora of health issues and they are always sympathetic, supportive, and never show any judgement. We often joke about how my dog is a frequent flyer to their office and deserves her own case study! I appreciate their time and effort to ease my anxieties, and follow up with phone calls (thank you also, Melanie, Kim, and Laura) while providing extended details of aftercare or remedies in emails. They are honest with treatment and finances, and will find means to assist us and are extremely professional. Thank you for loving my dog, Dr. Erica and Dr. Alex. She really is a special pup and you go out of your way to care for her.

My cat has recently completed his 84-day of FIP treatment. Dr. Erica and the team (Melanie, Kim etc.) at the clinic have showed exceptional care and compassion on all my visits. Upon hearing about my cat’s highly probably FIP diagnosis from the emergency vet, Dr. Erica immediately connected me with a specialist who was able to prescribe FIP medication. Throughout the treatment process, Dr. Erica promptly addressed any concerns or questions I had. Truly appreciate the professionalism and empathy shown by Dr. Erica and the team which extended beyond medical care, making a significant difference during this difficult journey.

I only called in for information. The receptionist that answered the phone was very pleasant . She answered my questions, and gave me the information that I required. Sounds like I would have gone in for the visit...but I asked how much is the initial visit going to cost me? And her answer,for me, was kind of shocking. But if doctor is a good as others are saying I guess if I could afford it I would go. First visit is $149!!! I'm on disability so that is just a little too much for me to pay. But remember, you get what you pay for. Thank you receptionist for being so helpful.

We have used the services provided by Dr Alex and now Dr Erica and staff for over 25 years! The staff are friendly, caring, very knowledgeable and professional. I feel they really care about the our pets and take time to follow-up by phone or email after any procedure or visit for a health issue. They always provide information about possible treatment options, risks and in their opinion what is the best option for our pet. They are a family practice and have not sold out to the veterinary management companies.

If I could give Orchard Grove Animal Clinic ten stars —I would!!! We met Dr Sunarich over twenty years ago with our dog and now he looks after our cat. He is so incredibly knowledgeable, patient and genuinely kind in the way he treats our pets and explains any problems and what the steps we need to take to help keep them healthy. His Staff are also the best!!!!! They have been with him for years and they are so friendly and they treat us like family and always so accommodating and caring. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Alex is amazing. My dog was injured while staying with a border in Toronto when we were on vacation. While we were gone our buddy went to 3 different vets who said it was a neurological problem... which was bologna. No one could figure out why his back leg was hurting when they could find no issues with it. Dr. Alex looked at him and in a few seconds said, "A herniated disk near the top of his spine" and showed us exactly why that was the issue. He's so kind and knowledgeable. Best vet around.

I had to take my little Yorkie here after she began limping. I know sometimes dogs do this and it gets better on its own but she was walking poorly all day. I was worried so I took her to Orchard Grove Animal Clinic. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and gave her a bit of medicine to make her more comfortable. We resolved the issue, and my little Yorkie is doing much better now. I decided to make them my primary vet care clinic because of how kind and professional the staff are.

I truly could go on and on about the incredible team at Orchard Grove. They are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, empathetic and wonderful people. Dr. Erica always addresses my concerns and spends as much time going over my questions as I need. Kim is wonderful and always calls the day after an appointment to check in on my dog Winston. Dr. Alex, Laura and Melanie are all amazing as well!! I’m so thankful for the wonderful care they provide.

We are very grateful to have Dr. Alex as our dogs’ veterinarian at Orchard Grove Animal Clinic. He has looked after our dogs (5) for over 20 years with professionalism and care. Dr. Alex is very knowledgeable in veterinary medicine and compassionate towards our furry friends. He always explains the diagnosis and treatment options clearly and patiently. We trust him completely with our dogs' health and well-being.

Orchard Grove is now looking after our 3rd dog. Everyone has always be kind, caring and helpful with our dogs...and us, and I can't thank them enough in helping us through the tough end of life decisions with our last dog. We moved many years ago because of Alex, the vet, and to have the service we felt was right for out pet. I highly recommend!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Alex for a long time and have been very happy with the courteous and exceptional service. In addition to doing great work and service Dr. Alex takes his time to talk to you on a personal level after the appointment and gives practical advice for me as a dog owner. Would definitively recommend.

When my dog died I called the clinic and they told me they did not want to speak to a child it has been 2 years now and I miss my dog everyday but because of the clinic they could not help me keep her alive by not giving the proper medicine and care that she needed.
