I'm not sure why this lawyer has glowing reviews. I don't like it when I see people portrayed as a hero when money is the real motivation. The first time I contacted him was 3 years ago and he told me I would have a good chance of getting my student loans discharged through bankruptcy. However he would not do it unless I gave him $1600 up front and said he doubted anyone else would either. He did not help me about my student loans and his advice was "just don't pay it". I have a serious situation going on and have contacted everyone from city attorneys and dept of education investigators, the consumer protection bureaus etc. I have an open and shut case with fraud, but the one thing I don't have is upfront money and Mr. Fuller would not receive enough from this so it is not worth his while. So while the supposed underdog lawyer goes on fighting huge corporations and claiming to be pro bono, he gets a good settlement from those companies as well as TV publicity. I don't usually go out of my way to write a negative review. I just don't like to see people glorified when they don't really help the underdog. But I suppose my review will be taken down because as a lawyer he can probably get away with it. Update 7/8/2020: Like I said, he will get away with it because he is a Lawyer. He just updated his response to "look" like a nice guy who does'nt lie. You can't just take pictures of yourself with little kids and portray yourself as a good person. The truth will be told. You can't get friends and family for five star reviews or whatever it is you did to get them. You told me it was $1600 and I didn't have the money, so you referred me to someone else from legal aid. Now that you are going to perjure yourself as well, I am going to contact legal aid and explain to them what you did! I was willing to let your response go, because I know you don't like negative reviews. I saw you harrass other people who gave a negative review also. But now that you're going to be false again, I'm not going to tolerate it. Luckily I found a good lawyer, He couldn't believe that I had been going through this for so long with an open and shut case. Thank God it got handled by someone who really has a heart. As for you Mr. Fuller I would suggest you do more good deeds for the community and take less pictures.

Hello Michael, thank you for getting back to me. I am having trouble finding the message that you sent with your cell number to call you. My five star review comes with mixed feelings at this point and will be updated after I find out if he decides to reach out to us or not? It has been over a week now but I understand that he is busy so I am still waiting for a call from him. I am trying to find help for an amazing family of 6 that I believe is experiencing what looks to be some serious medical malpractice and desperately need someone to help THEM for once. I've watched them struggle so much and they have managed to make it through together one way or another. Their Mom is so strong and has been struggling to do everything by herself for well over a year now. She never asks for help but this time is very different in that her husband is in the hospital due to an infection in an incision after a surgery at Providence Hospital. He stayed in the hospital for two weeks after surgery and his bandage was never changed. When she realized that it was still the same bandage that had been on there since the surgery she asked the nurses why they had never changed it they told her it was because it was a "special bandage". Her husband had to return to the hospital due to the infection and is going to be there for six weeks . Even if Mr Fuller isn't the right one to help this family I don't think it would be too much to ask if he could refere them to someone who can help.

**Take special notice of the comment left by the "Underdog Attorney". As a senior disabled in extremely exigent circumstances, tried to reach out to "Underdog" via his website for an email communication; no response. I see from the other 1-star reviews similar problems, but what interested me most were the snarky dismissive responses from this self-professed underdog to those who left anything other than a fawning review. Any sincere underdog, who was truly concerned about people, would not be such a reprehensible bully to those who cannot defend themselves. My worthless opinion is that if an attorney cannot or just plain does not want to take someone's case or help them with their particular problems should just politely say so. It's not THAT difficult to be minimally humane. For those of you who have got money or can bring in some shiny media attention, you might stand a chance of getting this attorney to represent you. As with all attorneys, it's about fame, power and money. But for those desperately needing help, when you roll the dice with these sharks, you have to keep in mind there's a high probability you are the one that's going to get bit. Good luck to all those too poor or disenfranchised, America is on a frightful trajectory. And for those of us at Ground Zero, we're the first to be churned no matter what is at stake; no matter how wronged you've been, there is no "justice" for us.

In 2011 I did a chapter 7 bankruptcy (all debts discharged). In 2013 my old mortgage company sold my discharged loan to another (new) company, who then came after me for payments. I had used Olsen Danes before and they were very good. I contacted them and was referred to Michael Fuller. He was terrific from the first meeting until the end of the case! He has great communication (he even gave me his personal cell# to ensure I was in the loop), gave me sound and pertinent advice, he seemed untiring in his fight for my case. In the end he forced the new company to settle with me. Then thanks to his excellent research and diligent work he found we were within the statue of limitations to sue my old mortgage company for selling my discharged loan. Again he was able to force them to settle!! Thanks to Michael it was an incredible victory for me and a large financial monkey lifted off my back! Initially, contacted Michael out of frustration with my cell phone company and he gave me some solid advice which resulted in a credit to my account.
