I came to New Orleans totally unprepared (shoe-wise)for the weather and was in desperate need of new shoes! HOWEVER, I wear a women's size 12, so finding shoes in a store is near impossible and I always have to order. I tried every single shoe store that I came upon and also asked for recommendations from the other stores, one of the spots I was referred to was "Good Feet" aka Orleans Shoe Co. Because I am well versed in shoe stores not carrying size 12, I always just ask if they have a 12 in store, before I even bother looking. To my surprise the girl at Orleans Shoe Co said YES! I couldn't believe it, thank Goodness because my feet were killing me and I was miserable from walking all day and Haleigh stopped what she was doing and searched every brand and style I'd asked for and gave me exactly what I wanted. I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes and they saved the trip for me I had an amazing experience there and I highly recommend this store! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and INCREDIBLY helpful! I am so grateful for them, as I was desperate to find comfortable, cute shoes, that fit my feet for the duration of my trip! Thank you!

They carry the very best shoes around. Over the last 6 years or so, I have purchased at least 15 pairs of a certain Ecco sneaker in multiple colors. But since the covid-shutdown, the last few years they only rarely have the colors I want in my size in stock. Sometimes I have them shipped from one of the other stores, but more commonly I go home and order them online from Ecco. I hate ordering online and prefer to shop local. Plus I like the immediate gratification of walking out with the new shoes. I continue to check in with the Orleans Shoe Co. branch on Magazine St. before purchasing, but frankly I end up leaving empty handed and ordering them from someone else online roughly 75% of the time. Also, oddly, today they no longer had me in their database (though the sales person immediately recognized me as a regular customer).

Today I was like a kid in a candy store. Literally.......So many shoes to choose from. I love when a store has something for everyone. Orleans Shoe Co. not only has great comfortable shoes but they are actually nice looking shoes as well. I received top notch service from Haleigh but I noticed the other young lady working along side her was just as friendly, courteous and knowledgeable on the store's merchandise. My 1st visit was back in December and when I bought a pair of Taos. Most comfortable pair of shoes I own. The two women that were working today were the same back in December. This is a second home for me and I'm glad to know that Orleans Shoe Co. has on line ordering. Not sure my other 1/2 will be happy but we all only get one pair of feet and they need to be treated wisely. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I was politely greeted by Jose as I walked in and he immediately tended to my needs. I was looking for comfort because I was sick of being in pain all the time. He asked me questions about my pain, about my work, what I was hoping to get out of my new shoe, etc. He fitted me and took an impression of my foot to see where I was putting the most pressure. I also found out I have very high arches when I totally thought I had ZERO arch! We also found that I had been wearing the wrong shoe size! After trying on a few different pair of new tennis shoes I chose the On-Running CloudAce. They are an absolute Godsend! I can’t believe I’ve been working as a dog walker for the past 6 years wearing garbage shoes in the wrong size! I’m very pleased with my experience!

I’ve been in several other Orleans Shoe locations and I will not come back to this one again. I needed to get a pair of shoes for work and fully intended on purchasing from this store. I’ve had excellent customer service experiences at the other locations. I walked into this particular store and no one greeted or said hello. Two employees were at the counter face deep in a conversation about their latest netflix binges. I walked around for about 10 minutes before anyone even said hello. Didn’t even ask if I needed any assistance (which I did). The store was completely empty otherwise. If you can’t be bothered to attend to the only customer in your store then what are you there for? I will not be back at this location again.

I am a huge fan of Orleans Shoe Company and they have become my default for all of my shoe purchases. Their customer service is outstanding. From the time and attention they give customers to find the right shoes in the right size, to their willingness locate the right shoes even if they are not in stock, to responding to random inquires post-purchase, I could not more highly recommend Orleans Shoe. I have bought at least 10 pair of shoes for myself and my family and haven't bought a pair of shoes online since discovering Orleans Shoe on Magazine St. Worth noting that the Magazine St. manager, Hal, is a real rock star. I make a point of shopping when she's working.

Working in the fitness industry and navigating my own exercise journey has required a lot of shoes as I wear them out after just a few months. The guys at Orleans Shoe Co took the time to help me find just the right pair of comfortable, supportive, and durable shoes I need to work at my job and on myself. Additionally, when I noticed one slight defect a couple weeks after purchasing, they honored the warranty and replaced them - I’ve never had a shoe store be so accommodating. Usually, they just laugh and tell me to buy a new pair, but these guys are super empathetic and stand behind their products. Can’t recommend enough!

This place is outstanding in every single way…! They have numerous locations throughout New Orleans; an incredibly large selection of some of the top brands in shoes, all foot friendly too. Sheila at Orleans was wonderful. I first contacted them about a particular shoe by text and Sheila found the shoe and offered go hold it for me. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and immediately helped. The store is so, so earthy in such a good way. They carry all my favorites life Birks, Chacos and Tevas and my new favorite, Keens. So many great shoes, many of which were new to me. Sheila helped me figure out exactly what I needed and after many different shoes I walked out a happy customer. I can’t say enough about this buying trip. I have found my new favorite shoe store.

My husband Jon and I both shop here and I cannot say enough about the service and high quality product. The store manager Haleigh is terrific, I doubt I would EVER visit another retail shoe store. Whether preparing for a trip to Europe where one must trail and urban walk or buying waterproof Taos combat boots for wet NOLA you cannot beat this place. And oh yes Hale even gave me fashion advice after buying my boots ( which are BTW the bomb ) and that's coming from a Tour Guide who knows a thing or about practical cool boots. Visit and you will become hooked.

I make a beeline for this store every time I'm in New Orleans. It's a MUST! Not only do they have the best shoes but incredible staff. I just tell them what I'm looking for and they show me the shoes that will fit the feet issues I have. It makes walking around on vacation so much easier and fun. The shoes are so stylish and durable. They last for years without breaking down. The staff (last time I worked with Hal) really knows their stuff. It is always a pleasure to work with them. Has an excellent selection and easy to navigate, but the real star of the show is Macy. She was extremely helpful and has an immensely kind personality. Sometimes a person is so kind it makes you stop and appreciate there are people like this working to make your day easier. She was also delightful to my dog who was all wiggles for her. I'm a nurse and go through about 10 pairs of shoes a year, sometimes more, and I will keep on using Orleans Shoe Co. as my shoe provider. The service, Macy especially, makes the experience easy and pleasant.

So glad I found this place!! They have an awesome selection of comfort shoes and some orthotic inserts. I have troublesome feet and have a very hard time finding shoes for my fallen arches. The sales associate Jared was everything I needed and more! I’m a little picky when it comes to workers helping me, I usually like to fly solo. Jared was so welcoming, friendly, FUNNY, but also very aware of how to take care of someone who doesn’t like social interactions. He let me take my time and was very patient. I went in the other day to browse for a better supporting shoe as I was experiencing new back problems. As soon as I walked in, Valerie greeted me with a beaming smile and asked how she could help me. So polite! I told her what I needed and she took me around the store showing me MANY different options and how they would help my needs. Hal and Destiny are the best. THE BEST. I've made several trips to the Orleans Shoe Co. store on Bienville in the French Quarter recently and each time the service from Hal and Destiny has been beyond expectation. My husband and I were visiting from GA and we went into the store just curious as to whether the product actually works to help with back pain and posture. Haleigh was so helpful and very informative. She explained and demonstrated how useful the inserts were and we bought 2 pairs!! I have been shopping here for many years. I am a hairdresser and good shoes are not a luxury but a necessity. I love to look stylish and Orleans Shoe Co always has the best selection. I love my Dansko, Birkenstock’s, OnCloud, and Kork Ease. I know whatever they have in stock I will be able to stand in all day at work. I recently bought a pair of Feetures socks and WOW they are amazing. I suggest stopping in and treating your feet. The people that work there are so knowledgeable and fun.

I visited this location for the first time to purchase shoes for myself. Hal was genuinely so nice and great. From helping me lace up shoes for a better fit and patiently helping my husband find the right pair of on running shoes for daily wear. She even offered to look up my Orleans Shoe account to find a previous purchase. To then later combining the two separate accounts to make my future purchases easier. She is the definition of going above and beyond. 5 stars; would recommend.

Hal was amazing! She helped me and my friends very much. This was my first time buying a pair of Birkenstocks and she took her time to explain how to break them in and care for them. She was a blast. There were five of us and we had fun with her. There was another associate that helped as well, I did not catch her name though :( They also helped give some suggestions on places to check out in New Orleans. I went to the store in the Quarter because I needed some comfortable shoes and I was not disappointed. They have a great selection and excellent customer service. I ended up leaving with a pair of On Clouds and fitted arch supports and have been back to buy two more pairs of the clouds in different colors because I love them so much. The arch supports have really made a difference, I have a very strenuous job and I don’t come home aching like I used too. Thanks guys!

Highly recommend this shop!! I needed a place to put more strap holes in my leather Birkenstock and I found this gem of a place! The sales person that helped me was so wonderful! My Birkenstock’s fit again!!! I also found a new adorable and unique shoe for myself and a great sale price on two pairs of kid shoes for the nephews! I was in shoe heaven with seriously all my favorite brands of shoes and the little shop and staff were fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!!

Macie was incredible! The only time I’ve ever had a good experience buying shoes. I wasn’t being sold anything, but felt like I had a friend helping me pick something out. Very knowledgeable about brands and each brands models at different price points. Also was able to help find the right size and color. Pointed out that one foot is bigger than the other and accommodated an extra sole to even it out. Highly recommend this store for its customer service approach

Jose and Isaiah are OUTSTANDING and great representatives for Orleans Shoe Co. The variety of shoe lines was quite impressive!! Their knowledge of all of the high end shoes made it easy for my friends and I to buy several pairs. Amongst the 3 of us we purchased 4 pairs. We also purchased booties. They aren’t aggressive and know how to sell your merchandise!!They are quality salesmen and are funny and have great personalities!! They need to be PROMOTED!!!!

I had a wonderful experience today at Orleans Shoe Co! They have a wide selection of shoes ranging from comfortable sandals to pretty sweet looking ankle boots. The customer service was great. I told them what I was looking for and gave brief description about what I liked in a shoe and what kind off issues I have with my feet. She immediately pointed me in the direction of a sandal that fit exactly what I was looking for! I highly recommend this store.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked into the store while I was on a trip to New Orleans. Of course I found some fabulous Sorel boots with Haleigh's help! I can not tell you how friendly she was! I felt as if we had been friends our entire life! I enjoyed sharing stories about our pups! I would definitely recommend this store to everyone! Was visiting New Orleans and happened upon this extremely unique shoe store in the French Quarter. There was such an interesting variety of shoes. Destiny was so friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable, as well as Jengo and his mommy. Destiny spent a lot of time with myself and my wife. We ended up each buying a pair of shoes that are amazing! you for the phenomenal service! Highly recommend this store!

I live uptown and drive by this place all the time and finally stopped today to check it out. Wow! They have an amazing assortment of Birkenstocks, Danskos, ON, and so much more. The owner was super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I bought the cutest and most comfortable pair of Dansko wedges. Shoes are one item I don’t like to buy online and I’m so happy to have discovered a place uptown with such a variety.

I need a pair of running shoes that we suited to run, duh, and cushioned enough to stand in for long periods. I came in with a pair of shoes in mind and the store associate also pulled several pairs that I might have liked. I would definitely recommend working with Jose as he was helpful, insightful, and overall extremely friendly. I will be coming back to buy more shoes in the future and hopefully with Jose.

I had a terrific experience at Orleans Shoe Co. It was my 1st time in the store. The sales rep that assisted me went above and beyond to find the right shoes in the correct size. She was very knowledgeable about Morton's neuromas and the particular brands of shoes that were best for my condition. The selection was vast and so awesome. I recommend the Orleans Shoe Co to anyone that suffers with a foot issue.

Jardin, the manager, was extremely helpful with my son who is a wheelchair user and needs very supportive shoes to help when he is working on his standing skills. Jardin knew exactly what athletic shoes he should wear and fitted him with custom orthotics that have eliminated his pronation when standing. He was patient, kind and involved my son in the choosing the shoes, rather than just talking to me.

I had a great experience here. The customer service was just right. I had all my concerns and questions thoughtfully considered and several shoes brought out for me to try. It felt like old fashioned store attention. I was directed to a shoe type that felt fantastic and solved every problem I was hoping to address. Also, no pressure was applied which I appreciated. I'm recommending them to everyone!

SO kind and helpful! I had a ton of questions and the two sales associates (sorry I never asked for your names, team!) were SO helpful -- turns out my running shoes were causing me tons of leg pain and they knew exactly what I needed to fix it. Not just running though -- they recommended some SUPER cute shoes for walking Europe and had such a fun collection of boots. Will never buy online again. :)

Jose was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable about every aspect of their shoe lines. I went into the same store a month ago and was overwhelmed and couldn’t even find one pair of shoes to buy with my gift card so I gave up. Today I came in and he made the process so positive and easy I bought not one but two pair of shoes. If I was still in retail I would’ve tried to hire that guy on the spot!

This is the kind of show store everyone needs. Great service and care by the staff. Forget the nationwide chains like The Walking Company.. They simply can’t provide this type of quality and service. Hal was great. Upon entering the store Hal greeted me and asked what I was looking for. I told her a specific brand and size, she got them, but said they run big see if the normal size works but if too big we can go down half a size. She was complete correct. We got the right size, they had a huge selection, and the service was fantastic. Would totally recommend this store to everyone.

Hands down, the best shopping experience I’ve ever had! They have all the best brands I love like Birkenstock’s, Taos, and On Running. I love that I can get a shoe to dress up in, a shoe to exercise in, and slippers all in one shop. They staff is also so friendly and helpful. You can tell they know what they’re doing and provide a hands on experience like I haven’t had in years.

Loved shopping at Orleans Shoe Co! It’s in a great location on Magazine Street, surrounded with local restaurants, bars, and other shops. This store had excellent stock and staff. Macie was incredibly helpful, and even helped me figure out I should be wearing a wide shoe (what a difference!!!). My only regret is I couldn't buy more shoes from this amazing store. I bought my first pair of Hoka Ones from here and they had tons of styles and sizes.

Having had foot surgery recently, I was extremely difficult to fit. The employees worked with me until I found what I wanted and figured out how to make it fit. Bought a pair of waterproof ON cloud shoes and no one mentioned that the waterproof version runs very small. Wore them once to run and when I tried to exchange them they told me they couldn’t because they were worn. No cool!

Great store, I could spend hours here! If you’re a fan of On Cloud or Hoka they have the largest selection of both I have ever seen! Great for seeing color combos in person and making a decision
