"Love the pizza here"
"Food was good, the pizza crust is VERY good and the meatballs were flavorful"
"I liked the ambience and arrangement of this restaurant"
"We enjoyed the crispy chickpeas alot! Ordered the maple pig pizza which was very interesting, but also one of the most unique and delicious pizzas I've ever had! Waiter forgot about our burrata, so we didn't get to try that but we were full anyways"
"The pepperoni pizza was just simply amazing"
Love the pizza here. They make the thin crust wood fired pizza pretty well. We had the mushroom pizza, roasted beet salad. Taste is excellent, Ambience is pretty cool, very friendly servers, and it's right in the heart of downtown. I did think the prices were a bit pricey for the portions. All in all a great time we had here. More
Food was good, the pizza crust is VERY good and the meatballs were flavorful. Their house red wine is also lovely. The SERVICE is what I came here to review because I feel as though restaurant service has been on a decline but this place was great. Waitstaff was attentive and kind. I would come back just for that! More
I liked the ambience and arrangement of this restaurant. I sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the two beautiful ladies at the counter. The pizza tasted fresh and I enjoyed the white glass of wine on happy hour too. The sparkling rosé was delicious and I enjoyed the happy tunes playing in the background. More
We enjoyed the crispy chickpeas alot! Ordered the maple pig pizza which was very interesting, but also one of the most unique and delicious pizzas I've ever had! Waiter forgot about our burrata, so we didn't get to try that but we were full anyways. Also tried a non-alcoholic that was really good! More
The pepperoni pizza was just simply amazing. All the ingredients they used were fresh, the dough was so soft and the portion was pretty good. La fettunta (bread with olive oil and parmesan cheese on top) was a great starter too. We LOVED this place. Definitely recommend it. More
Always a fan of this establishment—I’ve been coming here for years for the friendly service, great pizza, and delicious cocktails. If you’re looking a fun, low-key dinner in the Pearl, definitely recommend. Fair warning, their cocktails are a bit pricey. More
Some of the best pizza I've ever had, truly. It's extremely fresh tasting and everything seemed of great quality. The service was also lovely, we were in there during a slow period. Cocktail was also exceptional! Coming back here is a must. More
The staff promptly seated us and displayed exceptional hospitality. Although it took approximately 15 minutes for our pizza to arrive, the wait was made enjoyable by the fantastic musical selection, featuring classic hip-hop artists such as
I often look for nook and artisan establishments when eating out. Oven and Shaker is the definition of Artisan wood fired pizza. Many people do one of two things.. eat food to live or live to eat food. I am definitely the latter of the two.
Salad was great. Almostvreturned the sausage pizza believing it was vegetarian, but upon very close inspection, could see a suggestion of meat but with potato and other items that did not compliment the pizza. Also- pizza grossly underdone-
It's still a good place to get some tasty wood fired pizzas and sides when in the area and in need of something good. We had the mushroom and the Margherita pizza this time. The mushroom was a bit better than the Margherita, in my opinion.
From the moment we walked in the door, everybody was so warm and welcoming! Chase took care of us for the evening, and even helped me choose a beverage. I thoroughly enjoyed the pineapple trainwreck cocktail and we ordered the pearl Pizza,
Amazing pizza! We came here after seeing the reviews and were hoping for some great pizza and a highly recommended kale salad. We were a group of six and had a reservation. The place was packed and they ended up having to turn people away
Oven and Shaker serves up some excellent and unique pizza, but don't skip on the salads, either! The arugula salad was a surprise and smash hit at our table- wonderful vinaigrette played beautifully with the bitterness of the greens, and
Great neopolitan style pizza! Started with a fried risotto with mozzarella which was nice and crispy. We had the Margherita, Mushroom, and Maple Pig pizza. The Margherita was a bit too saucy but delicious nonetheless. The maple pig was a
I went there on a Tuesday night. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. She was able to get me right in at the bar. The restaurant had a great ambiance. It looked like lots of different types of people were there (families, couples on
Came here on a hungover Sunday afternoon after wandering Powell’s bookstore for an hour. It was 2 blocks away, and the outside patio was booked full, but the indoor was empty. Beautiful bar area, which is where we sat. We ordered the
We're visiting from Eugene and this is local to where we are staying. I had never had arancini so thought we would try them. They're disappointing. I couldn't really taste the saffron risotto through the cheese, sauce and deep fried
This was a great place to eat pizza and grab some drinks. The restaurant layout is excellent and it's open with a long bar. The inside is beautiful and the bar and bar backdrop really set the tone for the restaurant. We ordered the
Picked it up and went to the hotel rooftop nearby. Fantastic pie with tons of flavor from the ingredients. You end up taking more time to capture all the flavors. Honestly worth savoring every bite while you strap in.
Met a friend here for dinner and we had a great experience overall. The pizza was great, the atmosphere was lovely, but best of all was our server. She was kind, funny, and so helpful! Would absolutely come back. More
Must get the Maple Pig. Best pizza ever!!! The table we sat at was also super interesting. There was a separate bar above the table where the food could be placed. Dessert was also delicious as well!
Lovely place! We were greeted warmly…service was terrific. ENJOYED the Octopus pizza! The flavors were so well balanced on a thin crust. The pineapple train wreck felt like I was in Maui …
Love that Oven is open late! Was able to get a post-theater meal on Saturday night in Portland!! The beet salad was HUGE and the mushroom pizza divine. Ryan is a first-order restaurateur! More
A grate place for pizza lovers! The pizza crusts are soft and delicious. Descent vegetarian options. We ordered ‘the pearl’ and it was super . A place worth visiting while in Portland. …
Comfy restaurant, amazing bar decor. Food really good, the cocktails menu is very interesting. Highlight for Fallen Yellowjacket. Service really good and fast. More
Oven and shaker is the best pizza spot in Portland. Maybe in all PNW? Hands down, awesome. I had to get a second gluten free pizza to go.
Excellent pizza! We had the mushroom and the pepperoni. I lean toward the mushroom for overall winner, but the pepperoni was solid.
One star for the nice atmosphere… but horrible food. Pizza crust was raw, leaking oil, toppings would slide off the crust. It was
