Disappointed with the food at Bar One. I ordered a $38 burger that was supposed to come with fries with the skin on. The burger was sub standard, because the bun was cheap and was larger than the patty, the cheese was American, and the presentation was not appealing. The fries were substandard, ordinary cheap fast-food fries. I expected to get better fries based on the menu description. The grilled fish was $45 and had no side, like a green veggie. It was over priced and the quality of the food was not good. The only enjoyable part was the views.

Very disappointing experience to book one of the booths outside. Took me a week and many phone calls to finally get an email confirmation which stated a minimum spend of 1000$, which nobody mentioned on the phone. Also for a 2 hour booking and 5 people, we would have had to each down 10 cocktails to reach that amount. Completely ridiculous and I ended up canceling my booking. Very disappointing for such a high quality venue.

Fantastic location right on the pier, both indoor and outdoor seating options available (dog friendly). Somewhat an extensive menu for food as technically a ‘bar’. There are also a few options on the menu for dogs to select from. Prices are fair and reasonable as this is part of a 5 star hotel.

Simply amazing place. The ambience was soothing and relaxing with a cool breeze. The Kerrigan is also known as the Shack. Everyone at the Kerrigan are friendly.The chef Iana has what it takes! The food was very tasty and tasted like homemade. My favourite were fish tacos and a must try! Definitely will try the oyesters next time.

Only popped in for a burger lunch so this is not a review of the hotel. The chicken burger was a stand out with crispy battered chicken, good sauce, and a soft perfect bun. The beef burger was a bit of a let down. The bun and condiments were fine but the burger itself didn't stand up to the rest. Super friendly staff.

I thought the cocktails were very good and it’s in a nice location. Food was not as good as expected apart from a couple of dishes like the chocolate pill which is an exceptional dessert. Service needs a bit more polish too given the prices being charged here.

Fabulous location, nice beer. I left half a glass of beer at my table while i went to the gents. When I came back they had cleared the table lol. After a polite complaint they gave a full replacement free without hesitation, service with a smile

The bartenders are very knowledgeable, and are very accommodating in making tasty high quality drinks! Their cheese board and fries were also delicious. Great view of the water too!

Last Sunday my partner and I were enjoying a walk through the Sydney Rocks area. We stopped for a drink and the atmosphere plus harbour view was so nice we lingered longer in the beautiful lounge chairs enjoying snacks as well. The bbq chicken skewers were delicious. Recommend it thoroughly.

We really enjoyed our lunch here for New Year's Eve. We like to go somewhere with a lovely view each year and this venue was perfect. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for either a lunch or special occasion.

Nice outlook but food average. The burger patty was juicy and flavourful but the rest was ordinary, soggy and chips cold. The smoked chicken salad was very basic with some odd abundance of apple. How about some cooked fish tacos or some that isn't raw as a choice

Beautiful views but we’ve gone past the point where the wait for our food is no longer pleasant. We are still waiting for our food at this point. 40minutes and running. Family with 2 young kids. Not cool

The setting may be wonderful but the burgers are on par with MacD's or KFC and they will cost you more then double! Very disappointed with our burgers here. Would go back for drinks but not the food

Great spot for casual drinks and light bar food. There is also seating outdoors along the wharf by the water, however, if it's a hot day, the sun can be roasting. Make sure you sit in the shade.

Excellent barbecue sauce that comes with the chicken. They should bottle and sell it! Chicken burger is very good also. Steak tacos with pineapple is a great twist on a taco. Excellent service!

Outstanding portion size....Fish and Chips. Flat head was the fish of the day. $20! Great service as always from the team at Pier One.

Excellent location if you wish to impress. What can be more delightful than having a drink or feed over looking the harbour Bridge.

If your thinking of going out for dinner, don't come here. Poor service, average food. Your better of going to McDonald's!
